The place is nice, rooms could use a few updates. The breakfast was wonderful, fresh, plentiful and variety. The breakfast employees were excellent! The pool was nice. Property was clean!

Rude people and unsatisfied with what they are doing is one of the ladies working making breakfast. Not the old lady serving up front. We are not coming back ever. This place is going down hill. I ve been going many years to this hotel, but this year was last time

When we arrived terrible smell of mold, we complain them staff moved us right away to other room that was better smell but when we enter my wife kill a 🪳 on bathroom, the toilet was loose , need maintenance ASAP. City is beautiful Hotel was very bad

I’ve stayed before and nothing beats the courtesy shuttle, free parking & free breakfast!

I was really disappointed to see they removed every single rocking chair on the property except the squeaky old iron ones by the lobby.

Location was very close to very good restaurants and other activities.

This was our third stay at Southern Oaks and we would stay here again! The room was super clean, the full breakfast in the morning was delicious, the staff are amazing, and super helpful. I even left a pair of slacks and they sent them to me! AMAZING! You can't go wrong staying here. They have a beautiful pool and a dog park, but we didn't use either of them. We were taking time going to downtown St. Augustine using their FREE shuttle service. Love this place!

Very dog friendly. Had their own very nice dog park. Rooms had dog beds and bowls as well! Friendly atmosphere. Great staff. Room was clean and cozy.

While the rooms were not overly large, they were adequate in size and were clean. The breakfast was very good - the usual assortment of basic breakfast at most hotels that have a breakfast, but they also served scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes and usually grits, and all tasted great. The dining area was quite large and very clean.

I think the rooms could use a little up-dating but all-in-all they met our needs for size and cleanliness.
