Location was perfect. Free, secure parking was very helpful.
A little noisy (street noise) in our room but it died down later in the evening.

Lovely place to stay while in town for a graduation. Building was warm and cozy, like staying at a friend's historic home. Quiche for breakfast was delicious, and they were able to include our graduate who joined us.

The Carlisle House is a beautiful 19th century treasure, lovingly kept. Our hosts were so friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious. We enjoyed our stay so much and look forward to returning soon.
If you want to avoid street noise, you might want to choose one of the rooms in the back of the house.

Everyone was so nice at the Carlisle House Bed and Breakfast. the accommodations are so nice and clean. I love thé breakfast.

Host was very friendly. One of the rooms wasn't heating up quickly so she gave me another room which was larger. Breakfast was excellent. They made sure I had everything I needed. Great gift of hospitality and loves talking to guest. Guest needed a cheesecake and she had an extra pie and asked if they wanted it. Loved extra touches in bathroom.
Highly recommend this place.
My first room and bathroom was too cold-it was back in the house and room was harder to heat but they graciously gave me another room.

Really the only thing I would suggest is maybe more options for the coffee such as different kinds of creamer.

Breakfast is not included for rooms booked thru Booking.com and this should be made clear. The reviews mention the great breakfast but there is no breakfast offered.

Our room was beautiful and comfortable. The hosts are very friendly, and there was plenty of information available in the room about what to do in the area, restaurants within walking distance and in driving distance, etc.
Breakfast was delicious, with a different kind of homemade quiche and breakfast pastry served every day. We have stayed at The Carlisle House half a dozen times and always look forward to the breakfast.
(Can't think of anything that needs improvement!)

The owners are very friendly, the breakfast is delicious. The rooms are decorated beautifully and the bedding is very comfortable. Everything was very clean. The bed and breakfast is in walking distance to all of the shops and restaurants of downtown Carlisle.

The owners were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. They were very helpful and provided excellent suggestions for restaraunts and other attractions. Excellent location with lots of things to do within walking distance. Beautiful town. The accommodations were excellent with lots of extra touches. Beautiful and immaculate room. Breakfast was awesome. Can't wait to return.

Owners were very accommodating and friendly. Rooms spacious and clean, especially bathroom. Quiche at breakfast was amazing, coffee and fruit very fresh. We will definitely be staying again when we visit Carlisle.
