The location and views are amazing! Clean facilities, nice pool, staff are awesome, nice & knowledgable. The restaraunt in the resort has good food for reasonable prices. Speaking of reasonable prices, you can have a GREAT 3 day weekend getaway for less than a car payment here.

Staying at this resort is very inexpensive, however the rooms are in desperate need of updating. While you're there I highly recommend checking out the Superman museum across the river in Metropolis, Illinois!

The Village is an excellent place to stay when visiting, but the facilities are very much outdated and in need of renovation. This however, is not the fault of the management but rather the State of KY. The State is far behind allocating money towards updating our parks. Tourist dollars would undoubtedly follow if only the State would renovate its properties.

As mentioned, the rooms are in need of overhauling. While clean and usable, the decor and furnishings need updated. The interior security deadbolt to the door wouldn't latch, the screen door to the balcony lacked a spring which caused the door to slam shut, and water pressure was extremely low.

We reserved 3 king bed rooms. We received 2 king bed rooms and then had to be put in a cottage with 2 full size beds away from the rest of our group. There is no lighting on the signs to where the cottages are then our keys wouldn’t work every time we went back to our room

We like the view right by the lake and had pool also and places walk around and do restraunt too

The cabin was clean and spacious. There was a lot to do in and around the park.

I wouldn't know.. They overbooked and only actually reserved one of our two rooms. Our 5 confirmation emails all clearly stated 2 rooms reserved. We arrive after 9 hours on the road and were turned away.

Driving 9 hours and being turned away because of their mistake. They overbooked and said there was nothing they could do about it. They did nothing to help up us. I showed them 5 emails confirming 2 rooms. They simply acted like they didn't care.

The location was right next to the water and was beautiful. It was peaceful and quiet. Nice size clean room

No refrigerator or microwave which would have been nice since there was no food available in the on site restaurant the night we were there and we had to drive out into town to try and find food. Lots of restaurants closed on Mondays.

All staff were incredibly friendly and personable. The cottage was very clean, spacious and organized. It's right by everything we could need. I'm overall very satisfied with my stay and would stay here again.

There was no dish soap or paper towels. There was also a dirty towel on the bathroom floor.

Love the village! Love Ky Lake. Venue was good. But room was a bit old. Had to get TV replaced. WIFI was iffy. A refrigerator and microwave would be a great edition. Constantly had to get ice. Great location, but some fixups to the room would have made it outstanding! This is a great place to meet friends from the middle of the country.

The facilities are old and need some fixing up. Cannot tell you how much a refrig would be appreciated. We will come back since we love the lake.

rat in the sink. rat droppings on countertop and one bed. no pool and the country club pool that they tried to send us to was closed as well. mouse glue traps all over the cottage. had to throw out about 150.00 of food because the fridge wouldn’t keep it cold.

The property is stunning; views of the lake and the natural beauty of this part of Kentucky are truly special. I also appreciated the courteousness of the front desk staff.

When I booked my room, I thought I would be in a cottage as pictured on Booking.com; I am not sure where those even are within this large parcel of property. I stayed in a drab, institutional motel room that was part of a long chain of similar accommodations near the reception house where the restaurant is located. It looked like an industrial pumping station of some kind. Overall, the room presented as dingy memory from the 80s: tacky decor, a drooping drape, and hairy black mold ringing the lip of the toilet bowl left me underwhelmed. Overall, I seek accommodations that are as clean as, or cleaner than, my own home. But the view of the lake was absolutely breathtaking, and the staff is professional and kind. As an out-of-towner, I carried heavy misconceptions into the experience.

We liked the location. It was close to the wedding that we attended. It was clean and overall gave us what we wanted for the price range

The beds were too small to fit 2 people on. We made it work but it was very tough to get two bodies on the bed provided.

Friendly staff, great view and easy parking

No fridge or microwave and very small room. Right next to the dam so the smell of dead fish was prominent.
