This property was amazing. A little worried when we drove up, but the house was absolutely wonderful inside. There was more than enough room for our family of 8. There were so many areas to gather and hang out, which was great since we had adults, a teen, and little ones The house had great views and very well stocked. We would definitely rent this again.

This was a very nice place to stay if you remain inside. The bedrooms were great, it was very clean & very comfortable with everything you need. It was close to the amphitheater & hard rock which was very convenient. It was not- so-perfect outside due to some dead, floating smelly fish on the lake & very hungry buzzards having a feast. That was disappointing & I’m sure it was just bad timing but it was nasty nonetheless.

Flew to Tampa from Altoona Pennsylvania to gamble at Hard Rock with my husband and mother in law. House was so nice and fully stocked with everything we needed for our stay. The pool was awesome - very warm! Waking up to the birds and sitting outside watching the big white pelicans on the lake was a treat. So were the daily visit from the duck with the funny tail and his black duck friend. He ate crackers out of my hand!
The house has tons of outside seating and lounge chairs around the pool too. It has a huge kitchen table, BIG TVs and very comfortable beds. Our gambling didn't go so hot, but we sure had fun trying. We'd like to thank the owners for the bottled water, their hospitality and letting us have our 4 days of fun in the sun while hitting Hard Rock Casino. Would recommend a stay there to anyone!

Don't even know where to start. We came in town for a Bucs football game. Tim and Sutton are AMAZING. The process itself was so stress free and wonderful. The place is gigantic in real life and all the beds/couches are incredibly comfy. The views are unreal and I have some of the best sunrise photos I have ever taken. We very easily fit 5 large adults and there is definitely room for more. Everything is labeled so you don't have to go searching for things, and they made sure you have everything you would need! The backyard space is somehow even better than the house itself! The pool area is so spacious and lost of seating for relaxing outdoors. I 1000% will be staying here next time we need to stay in Tampa! Thank you guys!!!

Amazing!!
We rented in July of 2021 and just realized as we were coming back to rent again, that forgot to leave a review!!! When we visited it was 3 adults and 3 kids. Plenty of room to relax and sleep. Clean, efficient, modern and fun!! Cant wait to book again!!

Loved This Rental
Previous reviewers are right - the neighborhood is an odd mix of beautifully maintained homes/yards and those in need of a lot of work. However, we saw moms with strollers, dog walkers, and joggers day and night - my husband went for walks in the early morning and later in the evening and had no issues at all. The surrounding neighborhoods - if you go out for groceries, etc. - seemed a bit more prone to criminal activity. (I've never seen so many security cars patrolling the WalMart parking lot.) I made the short drive to the Temple Terrace neighborhood for restaurants, an oil change, groceries, etc., and found everything I needed and had no issues at all.
The property is just as described. The layout is open; one of my boys uses a wheelchair and had no issue getting around - except that he could only use the master bathroom as his wheelchair wouldn't fit through the door of the hall bath. There is a step down into the "sun room" that leads out to the pool - but if he went outside through the living room, he could access the pool without a step.
I have never been in a rental with such a well-stocked kitchen. Any appliance I wanted was there - toaster, air fryer, three kinds of coffee makers, etc. Previous guests have left the cabinets stocked with aluminum foil, sandwich/freezer bags, etc. There is a whole spice drawer - I mean, I know that seems gross to some, but I'm okay using a previously used jar of chili powder - thanks for leaving it!
Beds were comfortable. There were plenty of linens. There was a drawer of games and puzzles. A/C worked well. Grill worked. TVs in the living room and master bedroom both worked with Netflix and Amazon.
The view from the master bedroom, living room, and pool area was pretty and peaceful. The lake was quiet - we saw one boat the entire week we were there. In fact, we only saw immediate neighbors while in the back yard once during our week-long stay. The pool was clean, but the deck could use a good cleaning, there's a broken cover that needs to be pitched, and there is an odd assortment of patio furniture in the yard and on the pool deck. I think I counted seating for at least 20 outside. We used the pool every day. There is also a good assortment of pool floats/toys which we added to. The diving board is gone, which was disappointing.
Host was in town while we were there. He asked permission to go into the garage, and was friendly and available if we needed him.
Absolutely will stay again.

Great property in a good location.
Large enough that everyone could stay together or have their own space. The pool is fantastic with a deep end. The lake can be seen from inside the house or while sitting by the pool. Would not suggest swimming in lake, as we did see a gator on multiple days.
We visited Ybor City, Busch Gardens, and Zoo Tampa. All were within 20 minutes of property and didn't require interstate travel. We also went to a Tampa Bay Rays game and to Clearwater Beach. These 2 activities took 45 minutes to an hour of travel.
House was clean and the property owner stayed in communication before and after the trip. We would recommend to any family that enjoys privacy and easy access to the activities that Tampa has to offer.

Gorgeous home!
This house is amazing! Absolutely beautiful!! Spacious and well equipped. The house is stocked with everything you could possibly need. Owner quickly responded to inquiries. Very accommodating. Definitely the best VRBO we've stayed in. We will stay again if back in the area.

Excellent Value
Excellent value. Very clean and well furnished. Good central AC. Plenty of towels and linens. Neighborhood is old but well kept. Just wish there were more good places to walk or jog nearby. Convenient easy going location. Long drive to beaches and Disney but that’s fine by us. We preferred having the space and private pool. All was as advertised.

Relaxation Trip
Had a great time in this home which is perfect for hosting a larger group of people...open areas, lots of seating, big rooms, fully stocked kitchen. Not necessarily walking distance to the casino though. Pool had issues and the mgmt company was very responsive. The neighborhood is not the best but the home was secure and we felt safe. We would definitely stay there again!

Great place to stay!
Great place to stay with a pool on a lake. Everything was great. Great sleeping arrangements for a large group. The owner even replaced the couches while we were there. Only negative comment is that the kitchen table seats were very uncomfortable, but that can be fixed. Would definitely stay there next time I'm in Tampa!

House was great very spacious lots of places to relax, surrounding neighborhood is older but quiet and no problems with neighbors. easy to get in contact with property managers, can walk to the Hard Rock Cafe and casino or quick cheap Uber ride.

Pool was dirty and filter pump was not working. There was not response from owner to fix it. We were told that there were stray cats living in the garage and not to go in there.

House was good, plenty of room. Sunken jet skis need to be removed. The outside backyard needs cleaning of cigarette butts. However it was a good house to relax in.

The property was very clean! The pool area was fantastic to just sit and relax the day away!
We had a fantastic time at this residence it is about 35-55 minutes from some of the greatest beaches and the dining in downtown Tampa was great!

Very nice place!!
Our family came down from Minnesota for spring break. We had 3 kids and it was perfect for them with the swimming pool, beach, and mini golf. They where able to stay entertained the whole time. House was spacious. Great outdoor seating for adults. Only thing is we had to drive everywhere. Nothing within walking distance. Also cleanliness can be a little more thorough. Great experience.

We would return
We had a good time. Rita, the property manager for us, was excellent. She let us checkin early as the place was all set up before official checkin time. Thanks Rita! She was very responsive, helped out with minor questions concerning pool and heater. All appliances were newer, place has very new furniture/couches/etc. I am very particular on a comfortable bed and was not disappointed. Immediate area seemed safe. Bathroom/shower is quite smallish but clean. Master bath is excellent. Has new washer and dryer which were handy so we could return from vacation with clean laundry. Could use a newer gas grill, has 3 rusted burners one of which is collapsed but still usable. Also has nice charcoal grill which we did not use. Overall we were very positive, will return next year if we vacation to Tampa again.

Tampa Home
The home itself was everything as promised. The previous tenants who were fraternity brothers apparently had made a huge mess in the house as per the cleaner. She said there was sand all over the house. So, the time allotted to clean the home for our check in, clearly wasn’t enough time. The home was not as clean as we had hoped. The floors were very dirty, and empties were left down at the dock from the previous tenants and missed by the cleaner. Other than that, we did very much enjoy the home, and location was very convenient.

We stayed here a couple of nights before we went on a cruise with friends. The house was beautiful and well kept. It was perfect for what we needed!

The good, the bad and the ugly
Good: house pretty clean and owners very responsive to emails, phone calls and text.
Bad: no hand soap in rest rooms, no wash clothes, no paper towels. Food left in refrigerator from last guest. Trash in trash can.
Ugly: pool area and pool dirty. Owner did have someone come clean it right away. The pool man said the pool hadn't been cleaned in a while, he did a fantastic job of cleaning it so we could use it. Master bath shower doesn't drain and leaves bad mildew smell.
