The location.

There is not lift. Besides, we miss sun light.

The location is good, it’s right nearby the basilica and nice restaurants. The apartment itself was modern, a good size and mostly clean, but it can get a little dusty inside from the construction work.

I was advised after booking that there would be construction and there may be a little noise but it would not affect the apartment. The construction was more than anticipated, there is scaffolding everywhere and it partially blocks the front door so for people with mobility issues or large suitcases it may be a problem. Additionally if you have asthma there is a lot of dust which may also impact your stay. The apartment balcony could not be used due to debris on it, which included large chunks of concrete with wire sticking out. Management were aware of this and came out with the contractor but it wasn’t cleaned. The worst part was that when I went to the office to speak to management, and advise them that this was impacting my stay, they refused to acknowledge that or apologise. I didn’t ask for any compensation other than a “sorry that this hasn’t been the stay you were expecting”. The staff member I spoke to -Victoria, refused to apologise and said it wasn’t that bad and I knew that there was construction when I booked. I didn’t mind the noise from the construction, but the dust, debris and scaffolding was impacting the apartment when I was told it wouldn’t. Additionally the front door of the building is kept open during the day because of the works, which as a solo female made me feel a bit uncomfortable. I did ask for the email or number of the manager to try and resolve my issues with then but was told no, and to sort it out via booking.com.

Work getting carried out on apartment and builders waking us up each morning, not hosts fault.

Brill Budapest apartments was a fantastic stay. Very nicely decorated and clean apartment, with a comfy good sized space. The best bit about it is the location, where it's very easy to get to key public transport links to travel around the city and quickly get to your destination. There are some great resturaunts and bars, less than 5 minutes walk away in pretty much all directions.

Only one aircon unit in the living room. Would have been nice to have had a second unit in the bedroom.

The host was extremely helpful with everything and the communication throw viber was excellent.

I liked everything but unfortunately under my visit there was a renovation going on.

Close to the centre, everything within walking distance and lots of bars and restaurants close by. Lovely and cosy apartment ideal for 2 people.

Very minor point, the bathroom could do with a few extra hooks.

wifi was not working during a day. when it was working, only one phone could connect. also heating was restricted to 23C, it was terribbly cold inside when it was -2C at the outside.

The apartment was amazing - clean, pretty. The kitchen was well accessorized which allowed us to cook. Location was also great.

The Wi-Fi was vary slow (8 MB download speed). The apartment is located on the second floor, but there are a lot of stairs to get to it (the stairs are wide and comfortable)
