It was like home from home, fully stocked kitchen with a washer/dryer, lovely comfy beds, 2 beautiful bathrooms with plenty of towels. Only 15 minute walk from/to the train station, and you can catch the open top tour guide bus to see all the sights that York has to offer.

Lovely well appointed property in a nice residential location a short walk from the centre of York. The property was immaculately presented and comfortable.

Cant think of any gripes. It is mentioned parking is restricted near the property but that said, we used the railway station long stay parking which was fine with plenty of parking and a reasonable price.

The downstairs shower would be better with proper curtain/screen but not a big issue.

the house was beautiful and well positioned We did have a problem getting the house warm downstairs on the first night but only because we didn’t realise the thermos was turned right down, one of our hosts contacted us straight away to explain

not enough large saucepans

Arrived to find a Christmas Tree and chocolates in a Santa Biscuit Barrel, such a lovely touch. The entire house was warm, spotlessly clean, beds comfortable and plenty of seating for the five of us. Everything you could possibly need, a true home from home. The owners were easily contacted to deal with any query

Very comfortable, excellent location and spotlessly clean.

The property was perfect. A short walk from the City centre. Clean and well kept beautifully laid out perfect for what we wanted it for. The Hosts kept In touch to see how you were and if you needed anything at all to contact them. There is a folder with ideas for your stay which we used and I must say best Thai restraint just around the corner.

Location ideal...house was very clean and comfortable..

First time staying in rented accommodation and only small thing was only 1 toilet role left for use expected slightly more but apart from that was really good..

Layout, TV and some basic home comforts were very good. House was very comfortable and clean. For an older person like me, walk into city centre seemed a fair way but actually it was only about 15 - 20 minutes.

A few basics missing - salt, pepper, oil. Never before been to a rental house where there were no Tea Towels. Lack of parking space a bit of a drawback.

Well presented, clean and spacious

On arrival the porch area and living space did not smell very nice, like of drains. The locks on the patio door were very poor and the handle on the gate fell off. ‘Complimentary tea and coffee’ was virtually empty and the household amenities were very scarce

The house was in a great location, a very short walk from the train station and city centre, and only a stones throw from a park. The house itself was lovely too, very clean and family friendly, ideal for our needs.

I didn’t dislike anything about the property. An optional safety gate for visitors with small children might be helpful though.

Nothing at all

Very nice, clean, comfy, amazing location, not very much to complain about at all. Nice guidebook left by the hosts too which gave us recommendations on pubs and cafes nearby. Nice private courtyard to sit in where we spent the majority of the time at the property.

Couple of very minor gripes: - Instructions for the lockbox were slightly incorrect (I assume out of date) in terms of its location and how to open it - No blinds/curtains on the window in the bottom room - No mirrors in the bedrooms

The house was home from home well equipped and comfortable. Location was great.
