Loved the friendly staff, couldn’t do enough to help us. Room was amazing, so clean and big room and the beds were so comfortable.

Maybe a large mirror on the vanity so can get ready in the room rather than the bathroom.

Location is impeccable, near the train station and over the bridge from the centre. The bed is so comfortable and the room silent, I sleep for 8 hours straight.

The hotel has a new and traditional part. The old part is not as functional. The basin taps are stiff and one came out of the wall when I opened the water.

This five star hotel is the zenith of luxury. Food, drinks, staff service, spa and rooms were excellent

First class experience all round!

Gorgeous, clean and cozy, this hotel is probably the best place in York. The staff is excellent, certainly very well trained and very kind. Their teamwork was very good. Rooms are gorgeous. We went for the cheapest and it was already large and beautiful. The food at The Rose restaurant was delicious and prices for that quality are reasonable. Take me back please.

I stayed at The Grand recently with my mother (celebrating her 70th) and we had a wonderful time. The location was excellent and the staff were fantastic. We had afternoon tea and it was sensational. The atmosphere is welcoming and the spa was a bonus. Thank you for a lovely stay.
