The owner was very accommodating, the room was clean and comfortable Very convenient both to the train and a short walk into the centre of town.

I originally booked this for my Dad and was surprised how cheap it was. It looked clean and welcoming online and it was only needed as a place to stay after a day / night out.

Upon arrival my Dad had to pay £50 as he didn’t have his drivers licence with him for proof of ID and he was told it was a deposit in case he damaged the room. He’s a 60 year old man staying on his own in a last minute booking. The next day he asked for the deposit back and the receptionist physically checked the room with a fine tooth comb for damage baring in mind he spent 6 hours in their just to sleep. The room serves its purpose, to sleep but don’t forget £50 if they randomly wish to take extra deposits on the day.

Excellent value host was polite and very helpful. Booked an extra night and was arranged that I could stay in the same room instead of moving.

Very handy for the station. Basic but comfortable and reasonably priced. It's very clean and well kept and the staff are very helpful.

Only a minor issue but the reception is only open until 8pm. Otherwise it is more than adequate for my needs.

Brilliant location, easy 5minutes walk past lots of little restaurants and cafes nearby and you are in the town centre

Shower wasn't as powerful as I like but still did the job. Rooms lovely and warm. Basic rooms with everything you need and clean. Great for just dumping bags and walking into the centre which was minutes away

The owner welcomed us at the door and was extremely helpful and pleasant. very happy with the room and facilities with the property being in a great location to the town.
