It made our stay in Munich feel like home and is so conveniently located near restaurants, bakery, groceries, bus stop, etc. Easy, safe, beautiful walk into the center of town, plus a welcoming personal greeting upon arrival. The apartment has every amenity we could have asked for…Tanja has thought of EVERYTHING a traveler might need or appreciate. The apartment is spacious, immaculate, comfortable, quiet, relaxed, and organized. Super comfortable beds, great shower, easy-to-use laundry, TVs with all the apps, and all kitchen appliances. We will ABSOLUTELY stay here again when we return to Munich!

Great right from the check-in. Warmly greeted w detailed explanation and recommendation on everything. Very modern amenities. Food store a couple blocks away was great plus. Private entrance right at street level. Quiet at night yet close to Marienplatz and surroundings.

The location was excellent a short walk to bus, across street great bakery. It is a very nice clean apartment on very quiet street with all amenities. Highly recommend this rental.

This is a lovely little apartment, beautifully furnished and perfect for our family of three. Minutes away from cafés, bakeries and a well stocked supermarket. Various bus stops 5 mins walk away and then a 10 minute ride into the centre. Our dog also loved walks along the river, which was 5 mins away. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed. Street parking is free but it can be a bit of a challenge to find a spot - but then we didn’t use the car the whole time we were there. A lovely, warm welcome from the host and we really couldn’t fault it at all. Would love to return.

We were exhausted and ready to be comfortable after 14 hours of travel from California. We were greeted by Wolfgang and able to learn the ins and outs of the house and where to ge breakfast in the morning. The neighborhood was quiet and close to everything. Highly recommend this place for a family or anyone looking to be comfortable.

Great experience! Very warm temperatures for summer, but we appreciated the fans in each room. Quiet street near a grocery store and bus stops.

The location is in a really great area but a bit of a challenge to get the the city center. We were there in the heat of summer, so it was quite hot in the room with no A/C but to be expected in this part of the world. Nicely furnaces and many nice amenities.

We loved staying in Tanja’s apartment. It’s nicely located in a quiet neighborhood in Munich and is walking distance from some great cafes and restaurants. The apartment is clean, modern, comfortable and nicely appointed and a short walk from a convenient bus stop to get into central Munich. The check-in prices was great. The only downsides were the creaky wooden floors between the bedrooms and the rather flat pillows on the beds.

Our stay was fabulous. The kitchen was well-equipped, the space was beautiful and abundant, and it was surprisingly quiet for being at street level. We loved the neighborhood—cafes and bakeries just steps away. There was easy access to both the old city (via bus) and the highway system (for getting out of town). We were at first a little apprehensive about parking on the street, but we were always able to find a spot with minimal effort and we never felt that our car was at risk.

This property is in a great location with a easy to transit. It was extremely clean and looked exactly like the pictures. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it.

The apartment was perfect for my roomate and I to stay in so that we could explore Munich for a couple of days. It was clean and modern! The only drawback was that there was no soap for the shower or laundry detergent to wash clothes with. That would be an amenity that could be provided. Tanja was lovely to accommodate our late check in on a Sunday evening. I’d recommend this property and Tanja to anyone staying in Munich.

Our second stay here in a lovely apartment which has been improved since our last stay. The two bedrooms are back to back so if you are in the second bedroom you have to go through the first bedroom to get to the bathroom. But, now the first bedroom has a beautiful glass, cast iron and curtained sliding screen for total privacy.The apartment is warm, comfortable, we’ll equipped and on the ground floor with the entry from the street. There is a bakery, supermarket and restaurants only a few mins walk but there is little street noise.The centre of Munich is a pleasant 20 min walk away with part of the footpath beside a river. We would be very happy to stay here again

My friends and I recently stayed at Tanja's property during our visit to Munich & Oktoberfest. It was perfectly situated in a quiet neighborhood with a great selection of grocery stores, cafes, bars & restaurants all within walking distance. It's a short walk to the river as well and only about a 15/20 minute walk to Oktoberfest which certainly beat driving! We did rent a car one day and had no trouble parking it nearby as well. Tanja had a parking pass for us to use and had a map of all the places we could park nearby making the whole process pretty seamless. The apartment itself was very clean and comfortable. It was a great place to relax at the end of a long day of exploring. Even though it is on the first floor, we all felt very safe (we did not have to sleep with the windows open though due to the cooler weather). The neighborhood seemed to be made up of families and everyone that we did interact with was very friendly. My only suggestion to Tanja (which is not a deal-breaker in any way) would be to provide a variety of different bed pillows since the ones included deflated into a thin sheet the moment you rested on it, making it pretty difficult to get comfortable. Overall though, I would love to visit Munich again and would certainly stay at this property if its available!

Tanja's apartment is beautiful and very well supplied for longer stays. We had everything that we needed during our visit to Oktoberfest and it was a very pleasant walk to get to the Wiesn and back. The neighborhood had several nice restaurants and bakeries, in addition to a supermarket that was less than a 5 minute walk away. Tanja was also very communicative and helpful when it came to a last minute change in the number of guests which I had forgotten to communicate to her in advance (100% my fault). We would all be very happy to stay with Tanja again.

Wonderful, well located property. Great bus connections to city center. Excellent restaurant selections near by. We hope to return for our next Munich visit.

If you are used to city noises or if you come here when it's cool outside, this would be a five star apartment. It's beautifully decorated with great attention paid to not only the decor but to all the kitchen items. It's the sort of apartment that could be featured in a beautiful magazine. Also, Tanja, the owner, and the people who greeted us were lovely throughout the process. It's also in a nice Munich neighborhood. Where the apartment failed us was the street noise level during a heat wave. We either opened the windows for fresh air and could hear all the normal street noise, or we closed them, had more quiet but sweltered. There were three good fans and for anyone who is used to some noise about them, I'm sure it would be fine. But we live where it's very quiet and we weren't able to adjust. Even when we tried shutting the windows, the headlights from cars would shine into the ground floor, lighting up the bedroom and wake us. Coupled with squeaky floors that announced when anyone was up to use the restroom, we spent three sleepless nights here before abandoning the apartment and the money that we'd paid for three additional nights and sought out a quieter place. I take no pleasure in writing a critical review - particularly when everyone associated with this apartment was so nice - but I rely upon reviews and wish that I'd realized how urban the apartment was. For anyone who is either accustomed to urban noises, who isn't a light sleeper, or who comes during a time of year when the windows don't need to be opened, this would be a beautiful apartment to rent.

Our family (two adults and three teenagers) had a wonderful stay in this apartment. It is very nicely furnished and appointed with everything you might need. We stayed here at the end of our vacation so the washer and dryer were quite helpful. We found the location perfect - it is a quiet, residential, non-touristy area so after a day of touring we really enjoyed dining outside among locals. There are lots of restaurants within walking distance. The Lidl grocery store is also very close. Just a few minutes walk to the bus allowed us to access Munich quite easily - the Munich transportation app was fantastic in helping us figure out how to get around. Highly recommend this property!

We really enjoyed this beautiful place. The location was great..I looked into staying closer to Marienplatz but I’m glad we didn’t because it’s way too crowded in the summer there. The check in process was easy and Tanja is very organized and helpful. The place is very well cared for and very well stocked. Close to a supermarket, loads of cafes etc...was very happy thank you

Relaxing, quiet, comfortable, as well as close to food and bus route. Perfect choice for first time visit to Munich. Having a dedicated washer & dryer was a godsend. Tanja was a lovely host.

We had a very nice stay at this property in Munich. The location is about 15 mins from the Marienplatz with the nearest bus stop about 1 block away. It's about a 10-15 min ride to the town center and larger train stations. After about a day we felt pretty comfortable navigating the bus line to the train station and onward throughout Munich. There's a Lidl literally one block away with all the basic grocery items needed, which we found very convenient. The surrounding neighborhood was very quiet and did have several cafe's and restaurants, which we also found convenient on the evenings we didn't have a special restaurant lined up. The host was very communicative and organized. Check-in was a snap and everything in the apartment functioned properly. We had four adults for this stay and had plenty of hot water for showers and with a little creativity on scheduling had no issues with the single bath. The washer/dryer were a huge bonus for us. In other locales we had run across combo units, but this property has a separate washer/dryer, which was a nice treat. One slight detractor during our stay... we had a couple minor issues with the bath area needing a once over upon arrival where it appeared the cleaning company might have missed a few things. Not a huge deal as we took care of it quickly and got on with enjoying our stay. Previous reviews have highlighted the layout of the two bedrooms and the need to go through the first bedroom to get to the second. We had no issues as we're family, but it is something to consider depending on your circumstances. Overall, we had a very nice stay and were very comfortable in this apartment.

This neighborhood has 2 bakeries very close and a number of good restaurants within walking distance (make reservations since they are popular!). We had a car but there are close bus stops (nearest ubahn is 15 minute walk - the bus is a better bet). The apartment is very comfortable - you have to walk through the first bedroom to get to the second bedroom, so more appropriate for a family. Note that while the kitchen is well stocked, there is no microwave. There is a dishwasher, coffee machine, and an electric kettle for tea. We appreciated the washer-dryer and the nice shower. We had a lovely stay and will stay here again the next time we're in Munich!
