Beautiful location inbetween the mountains and river! It was foggy and cloudy but still beautiful landscape, the staff were super friendly and nothing was too much to ask for, I had a full body massage during my stay which was lovely and We also rented out scooters during our stay there bikes were also available to rent at the property

For you homestay was excellent, I liked it very much! It has very good energy, it’s in the middle of nature by the lake. I slept like a baby:) The house I rented was clean with all the facilities. The staff was very kind and helpful. The food was great! They also rent bikes and motirbikes. There is also a swimming pool. They have a cute cat, everyone loves it:) Oanh, the manager, found me a train ticket at the last minute! I was very grateful to her (don’t wait to book a ticket!)! I hightly recommend it!!

The food could have been better

The staff were so welcoming and friendly. Nice food for breakfast and dinner. Amazing location, stunning view to sit and eat breakfast/lunch! Cheap to rent a bicycle for the day. Good value for money.

The hostel room was not well maintained… didn’t get a key to a locker, curtains falling off beds. Was cold and damp (although the weather outside wouldn’t have helped). Dorm bathrooms didn’t feel that clean/well maintained. It was great value for money still overall.

We had a great stay here. We were able to rent a motorbike for a trip around the area. We had a great massage and the food was good. It’s an authentic Vietnam experience.

If you want perfect photographic location for your stay then this is the place in Ninh Binh. This property exactly located in middle of small hills and you will get great sunset view from sitting area nesr cafe. Also receptionist and service was really good.

Can improvise room a little bit, but room and washroom was clean.

Good breakfast and extensive menu for lunch and dinner with nice view of surrounding countryside.

“Rustic” interior of bungalow doesn’t offer much room to unpack or even store your bags. Shower placement in the middle of the bathroom sprays everywhere and makes trip to the toilet “challenging”

There was loud construction noise at 5:50am as the hotel is building a new bungalow just next to where everyone sleeps. The restaurant staff is not very friendly. And expect a limited breakfast compared to everywhere else in Vietnam. You can choose only one thing in the menu eg.pancakes and one drink. Fruit offered includes only bitter oranges and banana. Bikes are paid 50k per person per day. Not in great condition either but still worth biking around.

Outside of Ninh Binh and in a lovely location. We took bikes around and had a great time. Would gladly stay again. Trang An was one of the highlights of our holiday and the boat trip is not to be missed. The hostess was very kind and helpful. Food is available for purchase and there are a few restaurants in the nearby area.

The chill out area in front of the river is amazing. The morning and evening views are worth being out in nature

They charge you the gas of their motorbike (30K) even if you give them back the scooter with more gas, never seen this ever before, no logic to me

Location is breathtaking and sunsets like you have never seen. I stayed in a dorm room and I felt so safe and comfortable Nobody locked any of their stuff away or locked the doors at night it felt just so safe here. The beds were so comfortable the room was so quiet. The breakfast is brilliant and the staff are so lovely and accommodating. The location is the best out of any Homestay we saw on the road. So peaceful and secluded. They change the bedding and towels everyday and the room is so clean and spacious. Great for solo travellers and families too. Can’t believe the value for money with free breakfast. Lovely lanes all around to ride your bike to all of the main attractions in Ning Bingh which are my favourite in Vietnam. Favourite location and homestay I’m Vietnam so far. Can’t recommend enough. Thank you for the free snacks for the bus!

Quiet Clean The pool was amazing There is a full restaurant so it is very easy to eat The breakfast each morning was a great buffet They were so helpful in calling drivers for us to help us get to the boat tour or anywhere else we wanted to go

The facilities were good, you can use their paddle boards and paddle along a shallow river. The pool came in super handy and there are separate shower facilities to use before and after the swim. The dining area was staffed until 10:30pm so it was easy to get drinks and food.

The bed was unstable, with every move the bamboo creaked and the bed wobbled. Very odd blanket/sheets provided. Between the two of us we had to share a single narrow strip of a blanket, really inconvenient.The walls were thin and we could hear the traffic and our neighbours, as well as some animals scratching along the roof - which is understandable due to the remote location of this Homestay. We apparently booked the VIP room , the mountain/garden view, however, the facilities didn’t live up to the idea of VIP due to the bed, windows and doors not closing properly, lack of blanket per person. Motorbikes are available to rent but not the best.

The view is really nice, location is great if you want to get out of the city noise.

When we arrived our room was not ready - staff was cleaning the bungalow while we were waiting outside. Room was not properly cleaned and the floor was wet. You could not close the doors of the bungalow unless you locked them. The blankets didn’t have covers, and they were pretty small for a couple to use. Last night we had a frog in the bathroom - we know it’s a homestay near nature so it did not bother us that much but keep that in mind.

The hotel staff were really friendly and helpful when you asked them for any assistance. They can also understand English well. The location is quiet and peaceful. If you want to experience local rural area, it is the place to be. The surrounding is also beautiful as you are surrounded by karst landscape. Food is good in general but they have some local cuisine which are off menu and you will need to inquire from the hotel staff.

The area (including the homestays nearby) seem to be very popular with locals over the weekends. If peace and tranquillity are what you want, then it is best to avoid going there over the weekend.

This place is incredible. I had booked for two nights but ended up staying over a week. The staff are who made my stay amazing. I've been traveling for 6 months and I have never felt so at home. They even went out of the way to get a cake for one of my friend's birthday who was not even staying at the accommodation! I stayed in the dorm rooms which were very spacious and I also stayed in a private room which was extremely comfortable.

The aircons weren't perfect in the dorm room.
