Beach Lodge is a beautiful house, recently refurbished and tastefully decorated. Our room was large and comfortable. The breakfasts were delicious, nutritious and thoroughly instagrammable. While the storms raged outside, we cosied up in our room, happily noshing on the complimentary slice of cake that awaited our return each evening. Thank you to Casper and his lovely wife who are wonderful hosts. Following in the footsteps of so many other contented reviewers, we’ve already booked a return trip in the Summer… which says it all really!

Bright clean welcoming nothing too much trouble lots of extra little extras like hot cookies on arrival muffins on day two absolutely fabulous, fruit bowl at breakfast presentation first class , breakfast hot fresh and tasty. Casper an amazing host love love love it we will be back 🥰

everything. from the moment I entered I felt welcome and was looked after. The people are the loveliest and the little touches like a freshly baked cake in my room each day made it feel really special and nothing was too much trouble. the breakfast was beyond amazing and the options were phenomenal. I will absolutely return and wouldn’t stay anywhere else for my family visits. A million % recommend this place.

Beach Lodge is a few minutes walk from the sea front with free parking. It is a friendly, family run B & B, decorated to a high standard, and is clean and comfortable. There is an excellent breakfast menu with quality ingredients. The homemade cake and cookies were delicious.

Possibly the most luxurious B and B we had stayed in and more like a boutique hotel. Lovely hosts, great breakfast and an added bonus of a car charging point of our EV.... Relatively pricey but well worth it. Modern marble en-suite was also superb.

The breakfast was easily one of the best I have experienced at b&b stays - beautifully presented, a wide selection of fresh fruit and cereals, yoghurts, fruit juice and a menu that was left in our rooms when we checked in, where we could pre-select our preferred breakfast choice the night before, as well as what time we anticipated wanting breakfast (which included porridge, omelettes, "full English breakfast" as well). We had no sooner walked in to the dining room, when we were attended to, and asked if we would like tea or coffee and then we were left alone. The dining room had recently been redecorated and had an awesome skylight which really opened up the room.

This place was absolutely spot on. The rooms were quiet, modern, large and clean. The full English and vegetarian breakfast served with fresh coffee or tea. More tea and coffee was offered every morning. The hosts were very pleasant and informative.

Our stay overall exceeded our expectations. Casper was unfortunately unwell so couldn't check us in in-person, however he stayed in touch and was a very helpful and friendly host. The house and our room was absolutely beautiful, clean & spacious. So much thought went into the breakfast by Agnus the lovely housekeeper. Our breakfast was even brought up to us one day as there was an event on downstairs. The food was so tasty and the options were fantastic. We would 100% stay again!

Great location right by the beach , lovely and tasteful interiors recently modernised , amazing breakfast , perfect hosts - We couldn't find a fault , a perfect stay .

Breakfast was 5 stars and it felt like we were in a 5 star hotel and the owners went the extra mile. This is better than a home away from home. I can only recommend this place with the highest ever possible recommendations for you your friends, neighbors colleagues and family.

simply everything was wonderful! We stayed in the deluxe double room with sea view and it was extremely comfortable and very well equipped. The shower was a dream and we had a lovely big bed. There was plenty of water, coffee, milk and even cake on arrival and the next day. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of options available and very fresh ingredients. We would love to stay again.

Excellent location, great breakfast, Casper was friendly, helpful and accommodating! Loved the chocolate chip muffins! Close to beach and lots of restaurants & pubs.
