Location is excellent for access to both the harbour and beach. Walking the beach is extremely pleasant and the close proximity to the wharf if you book on the "Cougar" Ohiwa Fishing Charter is great. Loved the sight and sound of the beautiful Tui, the gardens are a delight. Fantastic hosts, Bo is super friendly and welcoming and homemade biscuits on arrival were a nice touch. Super cosy and comfortable guest unit to relax in and absolutely spotless.

Absolute stunning location - near to everything we needed and wanted to see and explore. Friendly and helpful host. Loved enjoying BBQ out on the deck 👌👌

While trying to work tidy and keeping the carpet as clean as possible, we prepared our sandwiches for day excursions on the kitchen counter. Not fit for the purpose, too small... absolutely my mistake, should've used the table instead.

Very hospitable owner, tidy, well kept studio room with lounge/kitchenette & bathroom, car parking. Lovely dog Bo greeted us everyday & entertained us. We were able to store our bikes there when not using them. The premises felt very safe & secure. Walkable to beach (for swimming) & harbour in a couple of minutes A 10 min walk to the wharf area where take-away food & a restaurant option were available.

It was perfect for our weekend get away...great location...cosy and quiet...beautiful gardens...

We found everything likeable and enjoyable as others have described. Perfect location for long walks and bike rides along both beaches. Special thanks to the hosts for kindness, bickies and bikes. And thanks to Bo for entertaining us.
