Room and the hotel clean and comfortable Staff ok Keeping our bags for the day after checking out

No toilet paper when we arrived No breakfast! Staff said they clean rooms every 3 nights

Reef lodge-poor

So unclean - flooring , bedding entrance/stairs. Manager rude No city views. Would NEVER stay again!

Overall very good stay

Location was great. Beds very comfortable. Staff friendly and approachable.

Some sort of wardrobe or more clothes hooks would have been good, had to live out of a suitcase. Also the shower was not great as had to keep pressing the button to switch on every 2 seconds, which made a shower a painfully long process.

Would stay again, decent value for money!

Location was great, staff friendly, room was good and clean…no issues really would stay there again for sure!

Only thing we could think of was the bunk bed was a tiny by ‘rickety’ - could benefit from a bit of stability - but that’s probably just the ‘old men’ that we are talking!

Fantastic location, but poor service.

The location was fantastic, next to the beach. The owner is a nice guy.

There wasn’t any room service or changing bedsheets for four days we stayed. The washing basin was blocked. No toiletries in the bathroom. No wardrobe.

Enjoyable short stay with family

We booked superior family room with 1 double bed and 1 bunk bed. It was spacious enough for 2 adults and 2 teens. It had clean ensuite with enough toilet paper for our 3 night stay and hand soap. Warm water was available and room was cozy with windows available to open for fresh air if needed. There was fridge, microwave, essential crockery, and stuff for tea coffee available. One small Fan was provided too. Iron was provided on demand. Towels were provided. Basically everything necessary was available which is great and staff was very friendly. Location is 10/10 as everything is at walking distance as we didn’t have car.

Wash basin tap was very difficult to close. Toilet door handle was difficult to open. There is chance if you are alone in the room you may struggle to open the bathroom door from inside. No hooks anywhere to hang towels or clothes.

Really great value for money accommodation in the heart of Newquay. Ray on reception was fantastic.

Location was really good. Just a short walk into Newquay Town Centre and beach. Ray on reception was really helpful, friendly and welcoming and provided us with lots of information on the local area, parking etc.

Lovely hotel but such a shame our room smelled of cigarettes.

I really liked the facilities in studio 3. It was a nice room, could t ask for more.

The room smelled of cigarettes throughout my stay. It was a very strong smell that lingered on to our clothes. I had children with me, I’m so glad I only booked the room for one night. I left the windows open, I sprayed a lot of air freshener but the smell would not go.

No microwave or even water kettle. Bed are too soft that you are literally drowning and will give you backaches the next day

Clean room but very odd layout

Staff were nice and room was clean with a nice view but shocked at the layout of the room.

Never seen a room like it. It was a normal double room with a wooden partition towards the top of the room with 2 beds up there. Buzzard, found it very claustrophobic.
