Was dismal and disgusting!!!!

Needs a major overhaul! Sheets were grey, cigarette burns in blankets and quilts were musty and old, no hot water,was dirty the whole room, found dead cockroach’s behind front door, bathroom in second room had toilet as your open the door and you knocked straight into it and had to manuver yourself to get around it to go shower needed a good cleaning & scrub. Very poor breakfast area and basic food. Pools were old and tired with paint peeling and tiles off. Worst hotel I have ever stayed in!!!!

We enjoy staying at the Gazebo, we understand it's shortcomings but location and price is great.

Location of the hotel is excellent, beach is very good, staff very friendly, good value for money overall.

The bed wasn't that comfy, breakfast menu limited, water pressure very low.

Beautifully located with great staff.

The staff were absolutely amazing. Really lovely and helpful. The location is wonderful. I loved the breakfasts, the safe drinking water supplied every day, and close to beach and markets. The gardens are gorgeous.

The internet was appalling. It was more off than it was on and for some reason did not autoconnect. The resort is a little tired. The pool is lovely but it is time for a makeover.

Pleasant but many difficulties.

Room was very good after 2 moves Beach location Staff helpful as we has a wheelchair

original room unsuitable as we could not get on the bed as it was too high. The pathway was at times difficult as too up and down in parts, not good for older guests. Breakfast was just adequate.

It was OK

close to the beach

air conditioner kept breaking down, no hot water and the shower head only drip a couple of sprays. constantly asked to have it fixed. This did not happen till the last day but was still no good. TV stopped working on the 2nd night. was not fixed till the last day. For the price per night coffee and tea and bottled water should be included and all facilities should be in good working condition. I was with family and they had the same issues with their rooms. The hotel needs to have a total overhaul.

Value for money but with a little more maintenance would have been better.

Went elsewhere for coffee. Sadly your coffee was always just warm.

Toilet did not flush properly, sometimes not at all.

Autentic charming stay (like few remain), for the 5th time over.

Just like before. I like that it did not change. You need to love old fashioned and simple but with a lot of outdated charms, like the garden and wooden decors, that make it unique, and as we say in french "dans son jus". Do not expect the latest italian bathroom, it will perhaps just work. And it is direct on the beach, in one of the best places in Sanur. Five times there already. Glad the beach club just aside did close :-)

The breakfast is on the simple side of things. The staff at breakfast is super nice, but there are other options for breakfast around if you are searching for a balinese bowl.

I do check in at afternoon, when I'm entering the room, the style is really old, the floor and the bed are sandy and really b d smell, I asked to hotel staff to change my room with better one staff said they just having 3 same room, I should stay for another 4 night I ask them to cancel my booking, they force me charge me one night, I don't have choice, try to staying at this hotel for one night even worse I can't sleep at all, the fridge are really noise, and the atmosphere are really horrible

Great position, friendly staff

The staff were so friendly and helpful. The location on the beach was brilliant and the pools were lovely.

My room was a bit old and tired but good for the price. I got what I paid for. The sheets and towels were old and worn and need replacing.

Ripped off and disappointed

Location

The room was filthy, run down, mouldy and extremely overpriced. Room configuration was not as booked. Couldn’t even shower in the bathroom after arriving late because it was so disgusting with long black hairs throughout the bathroom. Considering there was only 9 rooms rented out at the time we should have been put in a habitable room. Only stayed one night out of the three we booked and had to find alternative accommodation. Very sad as we’ve stayed at this property multiple times in the past.

Location good, beach front. Staff friendly. Lovely gardens.

Rooms smelt mouldy, pillows were mouldy. Showers and drains didn't work properly. Pools were green and too hot to swim in.

Rustic Old School Charm on the beach

Really great location bordering to the beach. on the beach there’s their restaurant and many others where you can have a lounger or enjoy a cocktail or a meal. on the beach there’s a cycle/ walkway that makes some pleasant strolling. it was real tranquil and quiet at least in October. nice gardens and cozy little villas with patios.

It was not the cleanest or the most modern but that’s what made it cosy and homely and down to earth.

close to the beach, good location, quaint and old fashioned hotel, very old but interesting art style.

no wifi in rooms, quite old hotel but still works, only one power outlet in the room. very TV channels- mainly all local Indo channels.

Fantastic location

The position was excellent, right on the beach Gardens are lush and beautiful Staff were friendly, attentive and lovely people Massage around the pool was excellent

Unfortunately l'm disappointed in this hotel as both pools were murky and dirty Both pumps had broken down and they were out of chlorine for about 5 days out of the twelve days we were there I had an eye infection as did other guests Sorry guys but this is a health and safety risk and not good enough😒

Relaxing and easy

Location was perfect. Staff and gardens were lovely.

Both pools were a very murky green colour and, despite being cleaned daily, you couldn’t see the bottom. Breakfast had quite obviously been scaled back and was limited but ok.

Great value Gazebo

Lovely large old style rooms with beautiful carved wood everywhere. Beautiful gardens even if they were a bit overgrown. Lovely staff and good if basic food in their restaurant. Very nice Nasi or Mie goreng for 20000 Rp!

Covid has caused a reduction of staff so maintenance around the pool area is behind plan.

The location is perfect . The staff at this hotel are beautiful and so friendly and greet you with a smile even though life has not been easy for them over the last couple of years and they are still getting back on their feet . We hope that things pick up for you again . Thank you to the manager and all the lovely staff as it you who make this place so special to us .

Fabulous island, lots to see and do, locals and staff in all facilities friendly and helpful

Proximity to beach, staff helpful

Desperately needs bathrooms updating, have used this hotel many times over 7 years and probably won't use it again in present condition, shower pathetic and bathroom a mismatch of items and grubby grouting and tiling. Charging higher level price compared to other much better accommodation on offer in area, dining area outdated and breakfast offer not good, preferred going out for breakfast for a better choice and quality
