The house was fantastic! We (2 adults, 2 kids ages 9 and 12) loved it. There were plenty of small shops and restaurants within walking distance, but we rented a car and we spent the week exploring both the North and south of Tenerife. There are beautiful beaches nearby. The house is exactly what we were looking for for a relaxing week-long vacation. The owner was very friendly and helpful to suggest restaurants and things to do. Towels, linens, basic dishes, everything you need is provided. there is a very nice grilling area that you can use for baking, roasting, etc. I was hoping to try it out but we also were looking forward to trying lots of local cuisine so we didn’t cook much for dinner.

We absolutely loved the property and would definitely recommend and return, but if I had to pick something I didn’t like it would be that some the roads getting to the property are very very steep. If you have a manual transmission it can be challenging.

In overall, the house is great. It's spacious, goes through 3 floors, has 3 bedrooms, 1 living room, kitchen, 2 bathrooms and a lovely terraces (yes, there are two of them!) with all the necessary equipment for a pleasant stay in an authentic Canarian town. All three bedrooms have great soft beds. One of the bedrooms has 2 single beds, one has 1 double bed, and one has an extra large double bed + one single bed + a cot. The living room can be used as a bedroom as well - which we did - but the sofas in the living room are not very comfortable for sleeping, so I'd suggest not to count on those if you're a fan of a very comfortable bed.

It's not a criticism of the house itself, but I think it would be fair to mention that the living room (and one of the bedrooms) is located on the street-side of the building and the car driving sounds are very well heard into the living room. That was not a problem during the day, but as part of our company slept in the living room, it did affect the quality of the morning sleep.

We enjoyed ourselves and it was a pleasant experience. The owner did a great job explaining all the stuff required to live in there and she react quickly to any issues if there was one in order to make our stay really pleasant. The weather in the area was a bit cold and house around here don’t have radiators-only one gas heater for the living-room. The temperature was pleasant however when is not sunny, there are other parts in the island with constant over 20 degrees for a warmer experience- in the south. We loved the fresh air and temperature however it took a few days to adapt to it. A car is a must in order to chase the good spots of the island if you want to enjoy the lovely weather this island offers!. Bear in mind the bell dongs from a near by church-they don’t stop at night! one per hour and as many as the time is plus one every half an hour of an hour- I was up by 9 max every day 😂😂-didn’t bother me much but for some people could be unpleasant. In the living room the Tv is a bit old and the sound is not great- it get distorted when goes a bit high on volume-speakers look damaged. The floor steps in the living room could be heard in the downstairs property that they own and rent as well so I had to keep on reminding my kid to be careful as they could hear everything downstairs as well as we could hear their voices sometimes-the volume of the Tv could be an issue at night time for the flat downstairs 😬.

First off, Blanca is the best host. She is very friendly and welcoming, always there if you need her to help. She stepped in to pass the keys to our friend who was arriving, when we were all out for a hike. The location is also so beautiful, in front of a small church on a hill, with the views of the mountain for you to wake up to. I had the most beautiful time with my friends there - the house is very beautiful, and very large - fulfilling its potential of being a great community space, and also enough rooms where you can get the alone time you need. The house also has super fast WiFi, which is great! We had a lot of terrace hang outs and even a BBQ on an old Canarian BBQ machine! I'll always remember this house fondly.

The house gets a little cold at night (in January/February when I went) - not anyone's fault, as its an old house! Be sure to bring warm clothes to sleep in, which you can take off in the morning when the sun rises :)

It's a beautiful big house, it has two terraces with a nice view, so you can enjoy indoors or outdoors, for us it was a bit too cold to use the pool, but i imagine it's great for the summer months. The owner is very lovely and helpful. I would definitely recommend to stay there.

The house was larger than expected and it was equipped very well. We had everything we needed and more

The beds were quite uncomfortable, and the jacuzzi stopped heating quite often and needed to be restarted. Everything else was absolutely perfect.

The property was even better than expected. The house is big, historic, comfortable. The location is good if you have a car, although without car is possible too. The center of Los Realejos is just at 700 m from the house, there you can find buses to Puerto de la Cruz and all cafes, shops, supermarkets, even theater. We loved Los Realejos. It is very close to the fantastic El Socorro beach as well as to the other nice beaches nearby like Los Patos, El Ancon. Very close to Loro Parque. The house is very comfortable for family stays, we were 2 families with 2 children each. The best of the property is the owner, they helped in every single thing sharing locations of all attractions nearby and useful links. They were very nice and helpful, always easy to communicate. Hope to return back, thank you for everything.
