Some workers started to work at 8am just next to the house.

Amazing property tucked away amongst a banana plantation just off the main road! Very quiet, you can hear the soft sound of the waves crashing on the cliffs below. Only two apartments so nice and private! The road down is slightly thrilling but the views are amazing. We had the apartment on the plantation side which was perfectly clean and very cute with nice details! Only comment I would have would be to install shutters on the window above the bed (we hung a towel there so it was nice and dark at night/dawn). Bathroom was clear and modern, the sink area was very cool :) Everything you need is there, we mainly went out for food but if you want to cook it's perfect too! The "pool" area was charming but as it was the winter season the pools were not cleaned/usable unfortunately. There is also a rooftop with amazing views on Puerto de la Cruz, the ocean and if you're lucky even the top of Mount Teide. We would have been happy to hang around there in the daytime if we didn't have so many plans around the island :D The place is very close to the main town of Puerto de la Cruz, also La Orotava and just up the road a little town called San Juan de La Rambla with a nice seafood restaurant and a natural ocean pool! It's perfectly located to access the whole Northern part of the island away from the touristy South (Teide National Parc, the Anagas, Los Gigantes etc. are all around 1h away). Lastly, Lina was an excellent host, very clear communication about how to get to the property and how everything works, as well as giving nice tips of nearby places to go to. They even have an app BeTenerife with lots of recommendations on things to do, where to eat etc. Would recommend 100% and we'll be sure to book again next time we're coming to the island!

Beautiful house in a magnificent setting. Very homely and cosy. Perfect for a relaxing break
