Just the break we wanted after a difficult couple of weeks

Very clean comfortable plenty to do locally

The cottage is roomy and the owner has made sure that it is very well-appointed making it extremely comfortable and a peaceful place to relax, to eat, and to sleep. It's a stone's throw to the village church, close to the local shop and little more than a five five-minute walk to the Kings Arms in one direction and Otterton Mill in the other, both of which are in the heart of the village and sell delicious food. This is an excellent location for walking to Budleigh Salterton, or driving to Exmouth or Sidouth or catching a train from Exmouth to Exeter, Paignton, and Teignmouth. My wife and I enjoyed our stay very much and plan to return.

Lovely cottage. So much larger than it looks in the photos. We certainly loved sitting in the conservatory. Place was nice and warm. Great pub and community shop just down the road. Lots of walks too.

Lovely, cosy cottage bigger then it looks online. Great walking from the doorstep and nice pub in the village. Village shop was great for reasonably priced local produce. Great beaches nearby. Biscuits and milk on arrival was a nice touch. Enjoyed evenings in front of the fire playing games provided. Highly recommended by family if 4 with our dog who loved it too, especially the conservatory. Thank you for a lovely stay.

The cottage is well situated for walking, cycling and visiting local nature reserves. It is comfortable and well- equipped.

Although most of the cottage is dated it is very clean and well presented. It's very quirky but has loads of space downstairs including a large bathroom, living room, conservatory room and brand new and excellent kitchen - (my partner loved your choice of tiles). The living room is old fashioned but it's very clean and comfortable. Upstairs is also old fashioned but the beds are very comfortable and the decent sized bathroom is well equipped. The shower could be more powerful but it works perfectly. The courtyard is small and enclosed so was a perfect place for our dog to be without fear of escape. Overall the properly is clean, warm, well presented and comfortable. We think it would be amazing with a full update but we would definitely come back

An interesting, old style property that is well located for the Devon coast and for visiting Exeter. The booking and checking in processes both went smoothly. We would go back.

This is a cosy but roomy cottage, very well equipped, comfortable and warm. Communication with the owner was excellent. I would highly recomnend.

Beautiful cosy cottage... spotlessly clean.. beautiful fire.. wonderful for our long weekend. Didnt want to leave... cannot recommend highly enough!

The photos do not do justice to Jacketts. It is a very spacious property and excellently equipped for a self catering visit. Lots of room for four adults, with two bathrooms, but also safe and secure for a solo traveller. The courtyard garden is a sun trap in the afternoon and fully enclosed. There are plenty of internal doors to prevent muddy paws getting anywhere near the lovely cream carpets. Recommend without hesitation.

Jacketts 2 is a homelike and relaxing property, set in an interesting village and close to many enjoyable amenities. The cottage is comfortable, attractive and well-equipped, and the conservatory adds a special touch.

We enjoyed the property’s homely feel. It was lovely and warm and with everything we needed. We particularly enjoyed sitting in the conservatory watching and listening to the birds. Friendly village, good base.

Cold when we arrived, but warmed up over the weekend. Found the double bed hard and uncomfortable Everything else was well ordered and tidy Easy to access and to find..

Jacketts was an extremely comfortable and cosy cottage, perfect for returning to after a day out exploring. Perfectly positioned for visiting our old favourites Lyme Regis, Sidmouth and Buddleigh Salterton. The cottage was very well equipped with everything you would need and more, and although to some it may seem a little dated this only adds to its charm. We would definitely recommend to family and friends and Mundi was wonderful when I initially had trouble with the booking site, perfect communication. Well done Jacketts and Mundi for a wonderful weekend away .
