We came to Reno to visit family and celebrate a big birthday! We've stayed in this house before and chose to stay again because it it so comfortable and well-appointed. The owner has thought of everything that one might need to make the stay comfortable. Check in was a breeze and the neighborhood is cute and close to downtown. It's a great house and we would definitely stay there again!

Great place in a great location. Not little kid friendly but we didn’t have any of those. Clean. Beautiful. Had everything we needed. Owner was easy to access and communicate with. All good things! My sister lives here now so our next visit we already know where to stay!

This is an amazing property and Josh is the best host ever. I was recently widowed and in the process of selling my house, I needed a retreat. The moment I walked in the door, I smiled and felt at home. I loved every minute in this truly unique house. Perfect for couples or single folks. Beautiful yard, great location and a truly amazing experience.

The house is amazing like being in an art gallery - nicely done and colorful. Quiet location but close to downtown, clean comfortable beds and the owner was very responsive and thoughtful. Loved walking the dogs down to the river each morning.

We have stayed here before an when looking for VRBO in Reno, it is our go to. Unique, beautiful, big yard/patio - Great place for two couples. Quiet neighborhood and easy walk to park and coffee.

artistic, funky, whimsical, and fun! great house in a really nice location. clearly the builder was extremely artistic and non-conventional, every room was a fun discovery of materials and craftsmanship. we use the home as a base for daily travels so we didn't use the home's flair to its potential but would have been enjoyable to have a glass of wine out on the back patio. would definitely rent again.

Beautiful, well-appointed home with all the amenities one could need. Artsy flare and creative details adorn this sanctuary in the city. Located in a nice, peaceful neighborhood near a gorgeous river park, yet just a couple miles away from downtown and major casinos. Ample street parking if you brought your trailered cars for Hot August Nights like we did. It's the perfect place to unwind after a long day of adventuring or a late night under the bright lights. Far better than a noisy casino; your car is right outside and you're a couple minutes from the freeway. Layout of the home is spacious with plenty of room to not be in each other's way when staying with friends. Kitchen has tons of cookware, bakeware, and appliances, all the spices and seasonings, coffees, teas, plenty of dishware, silverware, and glasses. Bedding is comfortable with plenty of blankets and pillows. Climate control is set perfectly. There's truly nothing bad to say about this place and will definitely stay there again when traveling to Reno! Highly recommend!! 10/10.

Home was located near Idyllwild Park. Yummy food trucks on Friday night. The well equipped house has four folding chairs to use. Extensive walking trails along the river. Nice backyard for coffee in the morning with the birds singing. Most well-stocked VBRO that we’ve ever stayed in. Thank you for a great holiday.

This was our second stay. We hope to make it an annual event. The house is comfortable with bedrooms located on opposite sides of house for privacy. We particularly love the artistic touches in the house from the amazing terrazzo and tile work to to copper sinks and tin ceiling in the kitchen to the wood working. My dog loved the backyard!

This little house on Riviera Street is an amazing place to stay! In addition to all of the beautiful mosaic tile and stone work, it is a very comfortable and welcoming home. The neighborhood is quiet and very secure and located just a few steps away from the Truckee river walk and one mile from a fabulous bakery called the House of Bread. Every appliance and amenity you can imagine are included in this pristine home and everything is in excellent working order. The beds are extremely comfortable and the bathrooms are luxurious. I will never stay in a hotel when I visit Reno again if this gem is available!

House was as described, great backyard for the pups. The river is 1/2 a block away and a great place to walk the pups.

Lovely home with everything you need to feel comfortable. We were visiting Reno to watch our daughter graduate college. It was a quick weekend in and out of town. We loved the house and all the comforts it provided. It was in close proximity to the college and all the food you can think of. The bedrooms were comfortable and decorated beautifully. The living room fit our family of four with no problem.

From every bookshelf within each room there is attention to detail and thought to your comfort. This is a truly unique home that is ideal for the individual, adults, or family. We stayed three weeks and if we needed anything a simple text was replied to within minutes. We have two large dogs that go with us everywhere and the house is pet friendly. I routinely work from home and there is a quiet working space that is conducive to creative thought. I worked the entire time; there is fast internet. The location is close to most anywhere with cute pubs and restaurants. Our 2 dogs loved daily walks along the Truckee River trail that is within a couple of blocks at Idlewild Park. The artwork in each room speaks to you. The pictures of the house on VRBO don’t do the place justice. The house is an eclectic blend of old and new from the modern kitchen to amazing mosaic tile showers. We came in winter and the house stays warm even through there are a lot of windows. There are two steps down to the dinning and family room that are well lit. Toddlers would have no trouble and our visiting 1-year old grandson needed guidance with the steps. This is THE place to stay in Reno. Without doubt one of the best experiences I have ever had with a short term rental. The grounds were impeccable, and the house was amazing. It’s obvious the artist, that did the design, spent a lot of time with each individual room in the home. I stayed for a week and was still discovering unique and interesting asides with each area. The more you look, the more you discover. I highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a peaceful and rewarding respite from the ordinary. It’s hard to convey all the good things about it and, until you see it first hand, hard to imagine how wonderful it truly is. Thank you so much for sharing and making the space available.

From the moment we walked in we were captivated by the eclectic decor. We loved the castle feel with all the stone. The master shower was my favorite. It was so clean and comfortable. We loved the Location close to the river and the parks for long walks. We definitely will be going back.

This house was truly amazing and artistic. It was like living in an art museum. The personal touches were everywhere and it felt like you were living in a friend‘s house. There was nothing that we needed we could not find in the house and the location was spectacular with only a five minute walk down to the river. We came to Reno to celebrate a friend’s birthday. Rather than stay in a hotel, I found this amazing VRBO rental. The house was well equipped and very comfortable and clean. But the artistry in the house is amazing. Terrazzo and mosaic tile, beautiful wood floors in the master bedroom. Beautiful Mexican tile sinks in the bathroom and gorgeous sinks in kitchen. There’s so much to discover in the walls and ceilings. Loved it! The only thing to be careful about is the few steps where the house is multi-level in the master bedroom and dining room because they are a bit slick. The backyard is lovely as well. My dog enjoyed that. Would definitely stay there again.

We've stayed at this property twice and enjoy it very much. The interior decor is artistic and welcoming and includes all amenties needed. The grounds are well maintained and dog friendly. We enjoyed sitting on the patio in the mornings and evenings. The Truckee River is a couple blocks away. Highly recommend.
