We had a very nice stay at this home and Beth was a very good and responsive host. pros: Very clean inside and charming decor that the kids loved. Equipped with lots of toys/games/activities for the kids and kitchen with all the basics you need to cook meals. Nice views of the water from bedrooms. Short walk to Mike's for nice dinner, drinks, music and walks out on the piers. Beth is very responsive to any questions or needs. cons: Outdoor area was a bit of a mess, but it didn't matter too much because it was basically impossible to spend time outside due to the mosquitoes. Maybe it was just the time of year ( Late August) but even after I sprayed the whole property with Cutter and bug sprayed our bodies it was still very buggy. Biggest issue is that there is no public access to the water, which would have been the only outdoor activity due to the heat and bugs, except at Mike's. It's nice to walk out on the docks there around sunset but no beaches to access water. The closest park with water access is under renovation until next year so we had to drive at least 30 minutes to find a swimming beach. I think this should be clearly stated in the listing for those hoping for water activities. The beds were all layered with memory foam toppers, which may be to some people's liking, but too soft for us to sleep comfortably. We probably should have just removed the toppers, but didn't think of it until we stripped the beds as we were leaving and saw that they were removable.

The rooms were clean and the host was very attentive. My kids enjoyed the duck theme in the house. It’s a short walk or drive to Mikes Crab North where you can get delicious steamed crabs and crab cakes. I’d recommend for a family trip.

Nice, modern home near Baltimore with all the amenities you will need. Beth, the owner replied quickly whenever I had a question. Overall a great experience.

Very comfortable home environment. Felt very much at home due to the comfortable already made beds and fluffy towels hanging in the bathroom. The owner was so sweet and replied promptly to all my questions prior to check in. She even made sure we had an iron and ironing board available when I asked if there was one in the house. And she didn't even get the least bit frustrated with us when we locked the key in the house! Our family enjoyed our stay and would definitely rent from Beth again!

Went with 5 women to have a girls weekend. Really enjoyed the house and the close location the the water, Annapolis and Mike's. Such a great weekend- would recommend staying here to anyone who wants the mix of being close to nature as well as bigger cities.

I needed extra room for family coming to town for a graduation. This place was perfect. It's spacious, clean and has everything you need. I would rent it again in a heartbeat. Beth, thanks for sharing your place. The grandparents of the graduate enjoyed having their own space.

My family and I were in a unique situation, and the only one to respond ASAP was Beth, the owner of this property. (Really a blessing in disguise and I'm very thankful.) As we relocated cross country and my family and I needed a place to stay for a month until we found a house to live, we stayed here. She opened her beautiful beach house to us. She has really made the house accommodations a little piece of heaven, it has EVERYTHING anyone needs. If you are looking to enjoy a weekend getaway, a week getaway, a girlfriend’s getaway, family retreat, ect...this is the place. The house is well kept, very clean, cute, and completely-stocked with all the amenities you could ask for. It is very peaceful house that is inches from the bay. A restaurant is within walking distance. You are close to Baltimore or DC. There is tons of shopping, outdoor parks, and much more activities within minutes. Beth has given this house a Chesapeake Bay personal touch. You have a question, need help, she is there! She will respond as fast as she can! You can’t go wrong here, the only way you can go wrong is renting from someone else. We thank Beth and her family for making our move the best thing that has happened to our family!! It would have never been the same without her TLC!!! I have met a friend! My in-laws and extended family are staying here in March and are excited!!!

A wonderful experience. Beautiful rental that felt like a home. Traveled to tour DC, Annapolis and Baltimore. Had a peaceful place to rest every evening. Spacious house where we could spread out or join with our family who live locally. Great location for all our needs. Loved sitting on the deck in the morning listening to the birds, especially the woodpecker, lol. Definitely will return our next vacation to Maryland. Thank you so much.

We stayed here for one week. The house is very clean. 3/2 house, two floors. Very quiet neighborhood, nice neighbors. The house is tucked away but still close to everything. Walking distance to Mike's Seafood house which is right on the water and has fresh seafood. The house also has a washer and dryer. Two TV's. The kitchen is semi stocked with some food, dishes, cups, pots and pans. Games, puzzles, cards etc. This was the lowest priced place we found for the money that was clean, good location, and close to everything with a short drive. I would come back again and recommend it to others. The owner Beth is very helpful. I could text her messages and she would get right back with me. On our first day staying there our key didn't work and she made sure she got us another key ASAP. This is a hidden gem at an amazingly low price. We will be back next year.

My family had a great time while at the Chesapeake Bay staying at Rock Creek! It was a great find for us to discover your wonderful home that was able to accommodate all of us in one place, just what we needed. We were close to the water and nature, as well as Annapolis and Baltimore activities. We were all able to stay in one place and gather for dinner and evening puzzles and family games in your large dining room and living room areas. It was perfect for our large group of family and kids. We appreciate the special touches you offered, and your willingness to accommodate both adults and children. In a bind, we had to make last minute plans for the holiday season for my whole family. Beth was extremely accommodating and was so great about getting back to me in a timely manner. The house feels like a home, not just a vacation rental, which I think is a key ingredient when you are searching for a place to stay. We live in Pasadena already (just needed something bigger than our apartment) so it was lovely to show my family around the area. It seemed like every time we needed something small that I had forgotten to pack (ie scissors or playing cards) it was right around the corner. The deck is also a really nice touch to get outside, which we got to enjoy, even though it was Christmas! All in all, we had a wonderful stay and were so thrilled our first HomeAway experience was so positive. Will definitely be trying again on our next last-minute adventure.
