This was our third trip to Cape Charles and second time staying at Cape Escape. Everything was absolutely great in the house and exactly as described in the listing. Everything was provided - plenty of linens, towels, paper products, detergents, etc. We were a group of six (2 parents, 2 grandparents, and 2 kids) and the setup met our needs perfectly. Both stays we've traveled with a pet and Ashley was perfectly accommodating. Check-in was seamless and we rolled right into our vacation. The location is great, just a couple of blocks to the beach. The historic section of Cape Charles is small, so everything is walkable or runnable, though we rented the golf cart too (a must!) in order to enjoy zipping around town. The house is also a block from the park, which made it easy to enjoy the Saturday evening concert even after a day of travel. Cape Charles is a very low-key vacation town. Almost everything shuts down by 8PM and it's pretty quiet throughout the day - exactly what we were seeking in a family vacation. You can relax, run, play in the park, go to the beach, check out the small shops, visit the local museum, or enjoy the restaurants/cafes. We didn't golf or fish, but those were also possible. All in all, Cape Charles and Cape Escape are both great places to visit and stay. Thanks again to Ashley and family for hosting us again!

Lovely beachy home, Great location, quiet Street, very relaxing, had everything we needed and more. Would definitely rent this property again. Thee only suggestion I have would be to clean the air vents Only suggestion I have is osuion is

House was clean and well furnished. Location to beach and town shops was great. Close to park area too. Really enjoyed the use of the golf cart. Highly recommend this house for families

We had a lovely stay at this property with family. The house was clean, well maintained and great for our family get away with pets. The golf cart helped in getting gear to and from the beach.

We have been visiting Cape Charles every summer since 1987, both before and after children and a series of small dogs along the way. This “home away from home” was very accommodating for our family and just right for our preferences. Communication was very good and I knew that our quality of stay was important and valued by Ashley. We would certainly recommend as well as return in the future if possible.

The house was immaculate and very comfortable. The host was responsive to any questions. Highly recommend adding on the golf cart. Makes hauling stuff to the beach a breeze and although the town is small and very walkable, it’s convenient to have the cart. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Cape Charles.

We thoroughly enjoyed this wonderful house. Every amenity that I can think of was available. It was clean and well decorated. We made wonderful memories and would definitely stay again. We enjoyed the golf cart and the location was close to everything we love in Cape Charles. The host was also wonderful and immediately responsive to any questions that we had. The fenced in back yard was great for a dog. We would go back tomorrow if we could!
