disgusting

the apartment was dirty and smelly on arrival, the floor was dirty and sticky, broken glass on the floor, bathroom dirty full of hair, burnt and moldy food in the oven, refrigerator dirty, kitchen without spoons and forks that we could not eat, seat full of garbage and stains, dirty kitchen, the whole apartment full of dust, cigarette butts on the windowsills, all the dishes in the kitchen dirty, damaged furniture, broken kitchen chairs, broken dining table, etc .. we are not demanding guests but what we got is not humane, ruined and dirty apartment, in one word disaster !!

i did not like a single thing in this smelly, broken and dirty apartment, they didn not give us money back when we want booked another apartment, and we stayed there...

it was big and had more than enough space for us and had a good location.

the exposed headboards on the the extra double beds in each room, there were no safety locks on the windows of a 5th floor apartment so with children in the property we had to keep the windows closed at all times. there was a hole in the wall in one of the bedrooms, the main bathroom shower head was held in place by a hair bobbin, the oven was covered in melted pizza so was too disgusting to use and one of the bedrooms was missing part of its blinds so could never be closed fully. the key pick-up directions were wrong and I needed help from a local hotel to figure out where to get them from. when I phoned up to try and clarify I was still told the wrong place name.

Absolutley nothing

The property was absolutely disgusting, dirty dishes were left in the dishwasher, old towels in the washing man home, the fridge door was hanging off, the freezer was defrosted and stunk. The couch was ripped and the handle on the living room window was sellotaped on. There was crusty food in the microwave and oven. The TV was stuck at a side angle. Moving on to the bedroom we were greeted with headboards that were hanging off and plaster all over the walls. There was a bug crawling on one of the beds and the carpets were all stained. There was no hand soap and there was no towels provided as advertised and we were given 2 toilet rolls between 10 of us. When we complained they said they was sending the cleaners round which wouldn’t have fixed all the problems unless the cleaner was to arrive with a JCB and demolish the place! The cleaners arrived the following day with 3 scraggy thread bare towels! The property owner is the RUDEST person I’ve ever had to deal with and is very defensive. She said if it was that bad we should have stayed somewhere else which is ridiculous as we had paid £900 for 10 of us for the weekend and didn’t expect to stay in her Dive of a property!

Great location and central to everything.

This property is not as it appears as advertised. Firstly, it took nearly an hour to obtain the keys from Manchester cabs. No code had been sent - security deposit had been taken from account. However, when I called the confirmed this was a problem with payment (did not inform me of this prior to arrival) then had to make another payment. The apartment is awful. A lot of the appliances were broken so unable to use things such as the fridge. The sofa bed had a massive hole in it. The cleanliness was very poor. Felt as though it has not been cleaned in forever. Only 3 bath towels left for 8 guests for a 2 night stay. The beds were dirty. Bedroom furniture broken. Carpets needed a good clean. The laminate flooring faulty. Chunks of flooring missing - which is dangerous as this caused some of us to trip/slip. Overall, poor standards. Not worth the money. Pictures are not like the actual standard of the property. Took over 7 days to be refunded my security deposit. Had to keep on messaging them for this to be refunded. Unsure why a security deposit is even required as most of the stuff is damaged already. Also informed by apartment security that this is a residential block and this apartment is not allowed to be rented out for booking.com, air bnb etc. However, owners keep on renting out.

The set up in the living area was good, liked the sofas, TV and kitchen area. Good use of large bedrooms having 2 double beds.

Place wasn't as clean as it could have been. Table was dirty, shower plug was dirty, carpets had marks on them.

Good space and big rooms

The property was dirty upon arrival, none of the lamps worked and there was a staple sticking out the back of one of the beds which injured one of our guests.
