Fantastic host, house and experience

We had a lovely stay at this excellent property. The owner, Sharon, could not have been more friendly and helpful to us during our stay. The location is really convenient, the house lends a wonderful view over the Creek, and the room has a very large and comfortable bed. The continental breakfast was perfect for us with a good range and some home-made extras thrown in; we had to catch an early train on our final day, so it was very kind of Sharon kindly to allow us to eat early.

A delightful hostess who welcomed our dog despite having a beautiful cat. Her local knowledge enabled us to make the most of our stay Three excellent breakfasts with hot croissants, fresh fruit salads, and home made marmalade. A most comfortable king size bed with adjoining shower room. Easy access by foot or by car into town. Don't miss the Saturday Market.

Great location, Riverside with close proximity to pubs and shops. Really quiet and exceptionally comfortable bed with view over river. Lovely continental breakfast.

Great host. With lovely views and a fab breakfast. Very comfortable sleep in a peaceful setting.

Leaving.

Woke to the smell of freshly baked croissants and brewing coffee which was delightful. Lovely big bowl of fresh seasonal fruit, a variety of yoghurts and cereals available. The hot fresh croissants with butter and a wide variety of jams / honey etc...plus two different types of bread for toast. Great way to start each day.

My ONLY gripe might have been that the towel in my bathroom could have been bigger. The one provided (and the two hand towels) were clean, fresh and thirsty so they worked fine, but I like bath sheets!

Excellent choice every day for breakfast. Room very comfortable with lovely view of creek and quay. Host couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful

Re above questions. We did not specifically ask for free parking or a quiet room! Parking was available. We did however request the room with a bath which was already booked. We were happy to accept the one with the shower

The breakfast was excellent with freshly made croissants, honey from her own bees and home-made marmalade! Strawberries and fruit and all you could want - outstanding!

The door to my bedroom was a bit squeaky so I was worried about waking others.

Sharon, the hostess, was extemely friendly and helpful. Couldn't do enough for us. Breakfast was superb, which included honey collected from the garden. The area is quiet and a 15 min. Walk from the town. The best B&B we have ever stayed in!

Sharon makes the stay a home from home. The room was comfortable and quiet. Having tea and coffee making facilities is a real bonus. We had a continental breakfast each morning and I loved the fresh honey. There was parking for the car and Sharon was very knowledgeable about the local area and gave us lots of tips on where to go and what to do. We had a very pleasant 5 day stay.

It was comfortable and homely. Breakfast was really good and we enjoyed taking it on the terrace overlooking the creek. Lovely, friendly host. Location was relaxing and quiet.

Bedroom could have done with a little TLC. Location most suitable for a car owner as a little out of town.

Lovely continental breakfast - such a nice change to the sometimes 'belly busting' full English served in many B and Bs.

I was very impressed with Creek Side B and B. The house is spacious and comfortable. It has a huge balcony overlooking the creek. It made all my stay very pleasant. My room was cosy. Comfortable bed and very clean beddings and towels. Sharon is a welcoming and generous host who makes extra efforts for her guest to feel comfortable. I will definitly return.

Everything in the place was good and I was very pleased. No complains.

Excellent location, near the town with super view of the creek and wharf opposite. Sharon made us very welcome and served super breakfasts - try the house speciality, home made pancakes.

Great breakfast choices. Lovely table setting and nothing too much trouble. Balcony a bonus, with good views. easy access to town centre. Welcoming and attentive host.

Bedroom was fine for 3 nights, perhaps would feel a bit small for a week.

Sharon was a super host. Cooked us a full English both days and also gave us a lift to a wedding we were going to. Not to mention the super iron! Very well equipped and comfortable rooms too.

Breakfast was superb, Sharon is a pleasure to be around and nothing is too much trouble. A genuine warm welcoming place that I can’t recommend highly enough!
