the room was spacious, comfortable and clean the staff were really helpful, even allowing us to check in 4 hours early it was in a good location

amazing location close to beaches and restaurants. we were able to rent a good scooter. love the style of the hostel. clean and comfortable rooms. wifi was very good. staff are lovely and very helpful. would definitely recommend and stay again!

the owned helped me reload my mobile phone data, also we can rent scooter from the hotel. strategic location just across the beach that was good for sunset, many good restos and bar nearby.

much like everywhere else in the PH, small beds that barely accommodate 2 people, WiFi is not that strong, small bathroom

The owner and staff were all nice. Location is super good. Just swim on the sea across the hostel, way better than Paliton beach. Super affordable and decent room.

We just stay 1 night because they were fully booked, but we had time to enjoy and appreciate the place. The location is amazing, close to everything, and the balcony has a really nice sea view!

Only negative was that mosquito net on the windows has some holes and got bitten a little bit.

the location was accessible, the owners were there. we spent Christmas in the hostel and the owner had a little celebration for her guest and made salo salo during noche buena. we rented a motorcycle as well since they have motorcycle for rent. overall stay was perfect! wanna go back next year.

Bathroom was very tiny

The room was very clean and tidy - the bed was comfortable. You can rent bikes from the hostel and make the short drive to the lovely local beaches.

We stayed for three days and the electricity went every single day - we were sitting in total darkness for hours at a time with no AC or WIFI. The first night the whole area was affected but the second night it seemed to be just the hostel - the electricity supply should be looked at as I don’t believe you can charge guests for accommodation that does not have electricity. The bathroom is also quite possibly the smallest I have ever seen - I am 182cm and my knees were touching the wall when I was in there.

I loved the cozy feeling and vibe of Sand 1 hostel. I stayed there for a week and travelled by myself. The location is near lots of restaurants. There’s a quiet beach in front of the property too! They have a small garden area where you can barbecue and also use the kitchenette.

We got moved to the family room for no extra price which was amazing as the room. was so big and spacious with two big beds. The room was decorated really nicely and both the room and bathroom were very clean. The bed linen smelt lovely! Walkable distance to some bars and restaurants and scooter hire from the hostel was 400/day. Overall a great stay!

Bed Sheets could be better. They could also brighten up the lights in the room.
