The three bedroom, 3 story location completely met our needs. Beds were fine and bathrooms worked well. The key pad entry system was finicky, but worked. Lots of restaurants and shops close by. Would stay there again.

Good place to be based for our holiday. All facilities were good. We didn’t cook but there was a good kitchen. Easy walk to the overland stations. Always enjoy our visits to London.

Lovely property with very secure parking, very big for London. Close to all transport links, fabulous local market on the doorstep and plenty of places to eat and drink within walking distance.

Wir (6 Personen) haben uns in der Wohnung sehr wohlgefühlt. Es war durch die 2 Schlafzimmer und die Schlafmöglichkeit auf der Galerie (Achtung: jeweils nur 1,40 m breite Betten) ausreichend viel Platz für uns alle vorhanden. Das Wohnzimmer ist schön groß und hell. In der Küche war alles in ausreichender Zahl vorhanden, sogar wichtige Grundlagen wie Gewürze, Tee und Kaffee haben wir vorgefunden. Der Check-in Vorgang gestaltete sich durch den Pincode, den wir kurz vor der Reise bekommen haben, sehr unkompliziert. Und das man keine Schlüssel braucht, ist bei mehreren Reisenden sehr praktisch. Vielen Dank auch an die Vermieter, dass sie die Wohnung so gemütlich belasssen haben. So konnten wir viele interessante Bücher und Spiele entdecken. Es wäre schön, wenn noch mehr auf die Sauberkeit, gerade im Bad und in der Küche geachtet werden würde. Der helle Teppichboden ist bei vielen Mietern sicher eher unpraktisch und sah nicht mehr so sauber aus. Von der Wohnung aus konnten wir London gut mit Bus und Bahn erkunden.

This property met our needs very well for our five nite stay in London (a couple travelling with three teenagers and another adult). Very functional, with good size bedrooms (beds comfortable), and loft. Kitchen was well-equipped, except for no freezer section of fridge. Two bathrooms (shower in each), both on lower level (of three levels). We liked the loft, and the complex it was in. Gated, locked complex, easy to access with combo. (Get specific instructions on where the Complex is located - was a little bit hidden on first locating it.) Door look was a little funky, but once you got used to how to lock/unlock, all was good. We were there on a few days of record heat, and although we realize there was no AC, a few movable fans in the place would have helped, especially for some air movement when sleeping. Hackney area is up-and-coming, with a number of factors resulting in property values going up significantly. Multi-cultural area. Felt fairly safe walking around, even later in the evening. (But like any big city, use good judgement.) six minute walk to Dalton Kingsland overland train, which connects to main subway lines easily. So while it is a ways from the main London attractions, overland and subway gets you there in 25 min. Grocery store next to the Dalton Kingsland station is excellent, and some nearby restaurants and pubs also good. Ines was very good property manager, responding quickly when we sent communications her way, and was pleasant to deal with. WiFi was good, and living area/dining room are very comfortable. New rugs on bedroom level and stairs would be a nice upgrade for that lower level. We had some minor inconveniences (cleaning lady did not ensure bathroom tissue was left (ughhh! - Ines apologised!); paper towels and some additional towels would have been nice; table cloth was dirty from previous tenants; a small freezer box would be helpful; and fans for extremely hot days. However, the pros definitely outweighed the cons. And the VRBO property description accurately reflects the property. No negative surprises, which is always a good thing. This is an affordable accomodation which is good for families or small groups on somewhat of a budget. In a vibrant area of the city, which allows one to get a feel for how real people live! :-) We liked it and would recommend.

Tolle Wohnung in toller Gated-Area-Anlage innerhalb eines bunten Stadtviertels (abends) mit richtig viel Platz Weg in die Innenstadt gemütlich mit dem Bus (ca. 35 Min.) oder schneller mit der Overground - 2 verschiedene Overground-Linien mit je ca. 6 - 7 Min. Fußweg, zur Bushaltestelle Rio Cinema nur ca. 4 Min. überall Lebensmittel-Geschäfte in direkter Nähe, auch kleine 24-Std. Supermarkets, Markt ganz nah erwähnenswert: Küchenausstattung ungewöhnlich komplett, inkl. Geschirrtüchern, Geschirrspüler-Tabs, Küchenschere, richtig scharfem Messer, Müllbeutel für die Mülltrennung (Bio und normal), schönem blauem :-) Geschirr in wirklich ausreichender Stückzahl, riesigem Kühlschrank... Kann man gar nicht alles aufzählen. Hier wohnt und kocht wirklich jemand. Sehr praktisch, wenn man spät abends ankommt und schon alles da ist. 24 Stunden WLAN, stimmt nicht (mehr), wenn was anderes in früheren Bewertungen steht. Fernseher lief irgendwie nur mit Info-Einblendung, dass man sich bei dem Anbieter melden soll. Das haben wir aber nicht weiterverfolgt, weil wir gar nicht fernsehen wollten. Das tolle Klavier bräuchte unbedingt stimmen, aber wer hat schon ein Klavier in einer Ferienwohnung? Sehr schade: Die Dusche im kleinen Bad funktionierte nicht, weil der Schlauch kaputt war. Den hätte man eigentlich nur kurz austauschen müssen. Das war sehr lästig für uns zu sechst.

Family of 5 Staying 4 nights in this cozy spaceious appartment. We found a fully equipped kitchen, 2 large bedrooms and 2 large bathrooms. The owner arranged the set up of the bedrooms, one sleept in the Office on 2.floor. Location may be a bit far from London City, but busses or overground are within walking distance. The Area may not be Kensington, but all the appartments are within a gate closed area, so we felt very safe. I Can highly recommend this appartment. Great value for money and quick answers from the owner.

The flat is perfectly situated in East London, near shops, transportation, and night life. The area is extremely safe next to a prestigious academy and the town centre. The flat comfortably sleep several members of my family, with great wi-fi, a perfectly sized kitchen, washer dryer, dishwasher, and entertainment equipment. The bathrooms both have heated floors for those morning showers, and large windows on the second floor to survey the classic english east end. If you are considering visiting London, look into getting an TfL oyster card to use the robust bus, overground, and underground systems. Its worth the experience alone. The flat is close to a nice open market with fresh everything if your enjoy cooking. The flat is stocked with pots, pans, dishes, etc. - It truly felt like a home away from home. And the owner was excellent, answering every question we had and making us feel welcome. We will definitely look for an availability with this flat for our summer visit.

Very poor standard of cleanliness for example dried faeces on toilet brush, mould in shower cubicle, cooker hood encrusted with grease. No proper curtains in bathroom so no privacy. Lots of crockery chipped or broken. Mould in kitchen cupboard and in one of the saucepans. Plaster peeling off wall. Stained carpets. Fairy Liquid bottle had been refilled with cheap washing up liquid we had to go out and buy some. No toilet rolls or soap left out, we had to look for these. No kitchen roll or replacement bin bags. This place needs a complete makeover and is a health hazard. I don't expect to have to wash up things BEFORE I use them as they look so disgusting. Very disappointing, not good value for money. Whoever services this apartment is not doing their job. It is clear that this property has not been cleaned properly for a VERY long time.

Wir waren 4 Wochen in dieser schönen Wohnung und können uns den positiven Ausführungen unseren Vormietern nur anschließen. Es war alles vorhanden. Auch die Kommunikation mit unserer Ansprechpartnerin „ Ines " bezüglich Fragen über die FeWo funktionierte sehr gut und schnell. Vielleicht sollte in den Objektinformationen stehen, das man nur über Apple, TV schauen kann. Der vorhandene Receiver hatte auf allen Programmen kein Signal auch BBC nicht. Zum Glück hatten wir unser IPad dabei. Im kleinen Bad war im Waschbecken kein warmes Wasser. Wir konnten aber mit nur 2 Personen gut auf das größere Bad ausweichen. Es gibt für uns dennoch keinen gravierenden Grund diese Wohnung abzuwerten. Mit Londonpässen, Oystercard und Travelcard waren wir schnell an jedem Ort in London. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gab es in Hackney/Shacklewell mehr als genug. Die Ferienwohnung ist auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert. We loved this place! It was well-appointed, handily located, and wait for it...had an assigned parking place...all in a gated complex. Also, for a flat in London, it was huge. The unit was also only a 5 minute walk away from a London Overground station for quick connections to the underground network. The contact lady in Germany, Ines, responded to any queries I had in a quick, straight-forward manner.

I would like to thank Ines for our stay. The Loft was perfect for our family of four. It looks just like in the homeaway photos and it was well appointed, clean and well equiped. Major issue was that the wifi did not work at all, as reported by other guests. The condominium is very nice and safe. Comunication with the host was easy and there was no problems with the check-in. Neighbourhood is multiethnic and there are good supermarkets and a lively multiethnic street market nearby. We did not have any safety issues. Bus and underground stops are a 5-10 minutes walk away. It takes about 30 min bus/underground trip to get to the centre/Liverpool station.

The flat was lovely, and had everything we needed. There were only three of us, but it would not have been at all cramped with six. The location is convenient to lots of restaurants and shops, plus bus and overground. The windows are huge, and bedroom curtains thin, so I would suggest that visitors bring a sleep mask if they plan to sleep in at all. I highly recommend this flat.

Good space, both baths are on first floor with bedrooms (odd) if you are on the third floor and need to use one good luck. Overly clustered and in need of heavy cleaning. There was NO wifi, was unable to get the hotspot. A little TLC and the place would be great...I would stay again if Wifi was worked out. It would of been helpful had there been someone to greet us and walk us through everything as they did in Scotland. The entry code given us was wrong! Thankful for the people that lived in the complex trusted us with the correct code.

The property was impressive at the start but during our time we ran into difficulties such as the fridge not working properly and the handles being loose in the shower. Overall the experience was fun and brought us all together.

Beautiful, bright and spacious loft, well equipped and well situated. The only problem was the Wifi: the hotspot didn't work. Fortunately, the owner was able to propose us a work-around solution from the second day on. Still, it should be made more explicit in the offer that free wifi is not included.

Good location with many reasonably priced ethnic restaurants and public transportation nearby. Unit appears to have electrical problems. There was no power in the second bedroom and flickering lights elsewhere. Notified manager who took more than two days to respond and then sent someone without calling. Carpet is stained and worn and overall cleanliness left something to be desired.
