Location and parking VERY CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE

We had no problems! Parking was easy. There are stairs down to main street very close to the property. We enjoyed the windows overlooking Main St.

The weather! It rained all day Sunday.

Location is exceptional. Everything we need is there. The bed is incredibly comfortable!

The location is perfect! It is so easy to enjoy the sites and then walk back to this little apartment to rest a bit. The assigned off street parking space is extremely convenient. Although we didn’t use it, there is a cute outdoor seating area. The living room furniture is clean, comfy and new. Full kitchen has everything you need to cook (but with restaurants within a few steps you don’t need to). Coffee maker is a great feature and they had coffee for guests who forget to bring their own. Fridge is pristine. Unit sleeps four easily. Two window a/c units cool the apartment nicely. The apartment is stocked with extra toilet paper and paper towels. The owners are responsive to any questions we had.

The bathtub spigot needs to be replaced - mold / water deposits. The cleaning job could have been a bit more careful - dust lines the picture frame bottoms and the extra sink towel rack (like months worth). An inexpensive but needed upgrade is a comforter with a duvet cover that is washed between guests. Lastly, the door lock is questionable - didn’t feel great about that but Galena is a quiet and safe town. None of these issues are deal killers - we would recommend this unit to our friends.

Dirty, used toothpaste tube under chair in bedroom, thanks for the 86 cents on the floor, they did not vaccum. I want my cleaning fee back.

After shopping and walking around, the steps right in the door were exhausting. But everything else was great!

Loved the location and designated parking.

TV reception was sketchy. Kitchen could use a straight edge knife and scrubby for doing dishes. Couldn't figure out how to use the exhaust fan in the bathroom. Lighting was pretty dim.

Location was perfect! Close to everything; we didn’t have to move the car.

Well, if you could work on the weather that would be nice :) it was in the mid-90s, but it didn’t stop me from shopping!

Plenty of sheets, towels, pillows, comfy bed. Bev was very friendly and nice. Kitchen was stocked nicely. Short walk to the shops, restaurants, and historical sites.

Door needs deadbolt! Bathroom needs a new toilet seat and cleaning baseboards, cobwebs. Edges of carpet need a good vacuuming. Deck needs wasp control done badly.

This place had everything we needed but the best is the accessibility to Main St. We could come back to the apartment and cool off and head back when we were ready to shop or eat again!

We couldn’t find anything we didn’t like, but can I request a mixing bowl and baking dish in the kitchen for our next trip? My sister and I like to cook when we are together.

Location was awesome and everything was easy to check in and out.

The shower curtain was icky, no shampoo and water was barely warm.
