Gute Lage

Heizung ging nicht bei Minustemperaturen draußen, es war deshalb viel zu kalt im Zimmer. Als ich mich beschwert habe, hat sich Betreiber nur für das Feedback bedankt

Fenster zum Innenhof, der nicht so schön war. Aber ich wollte ja die Stadt anschauen, nicht im Zimmer sitzen. Für eine Person war das Zimmer ok.

Die Lage ist sehr gut, das gleichnamige angeschlossene Restaurant besuche ich seit vielen Jahren immer wieder gern; sehr gutes Essen, schöne Einrichtung Atmosphäre, sehr nettes Service Personal, bewundenswert schnelle Bedienung auch bei voller Auslastung, keine langen Wartezeiten. Freue mich schon auf den nächsten Besuch und Genuss! Der Aussenbereich ist wirklich sehr ansprechend, die Tische aussen und innen schön gedeckt, alles stilvoll dekoriert, gemütliche Beleuchtung, romantische Beleuchtung.

Das Hotel kann ich leider nicht empfehlen, trotz längerer Renovierungszeit nur die nötigste Einrichtung, kahle Wände, kaum Möbel, keine Bilder oder Dekoration, nicht einmal ein Kleiderschrank, keine Bügel, hat mit den hübschen Fotos im Netz nichts zu tun. Rezeption nie besetzt, Anmeldung übers Restaurant, dann kommt jemand zur Rezeption, was wiederum sehr freundlich im Umgang ist. Zimmer zur Restaurantseite raus leider äusserst laut, sollte man unbedingt meiden, italienische Musik nett, wenn man im Restaurant sitzt, aber die ständige Berieselung durch von aussen angebrachten Lautsprechern lässt rinen nicht einschlafen. Die wunderbare Atmosphäre des Restaurants spiegelt sich leider überhaupt nicht im Hotel wieder. Auch scheint das eine Partymeile zu sein, bis spät nachts lärmende Touris und früh morgens Lieferwagen. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis nicht stimmig!

Sauber, zentral, praktisch

Altbau, keine dreifach Verglasung (Lärm auf der Straße), aber das braucht man denk ich hier nicht ;)

Die Lage ist mega, Zimmer sind neu renoviert. Alles vorhanden was man braucht. Um Bamberg zu erkunden, perfekte Ausgangslage. Der Besitzer war der Knaller, wir wurden mit frechen Sprüchen und Sambuca begrüßt, was will man mehr 😉 Sollten wir wieder mal nach Bamberg reisen, kommen wir wieder hierher.

Wir konnten nichts negatives finden.

The position is very central, room and bathroom are pretty big. Very simple and minimalist furnishings.

Everything else. It's always discouraging to see how very little could be done to improve one's overnight stay and how some owners just do not care. The pizzeria downstairs should close at 23:00 according to the website and what the owner told us, but it was open until 01:30 circa, with tables outside, people chatting and even music playing! The owner should have turned the music down in respect of those trying to sleep upstairs. The windows couldn't isolate the noise properly, but even if it was extremely hot we had to sleep with the windows closed, which caused us sweating a lot. Also, we did not receive the room we paid for. The room was likely recently renovated, but the floor was heavily sloped. Even once the pizzeria was closed, people were still walking and shouting on the street - which we did expect and agree to compromise at first, since the place is located very centrally - until 4:00 in the morning. We just did not expect it would take so late to have some silence and try to rest. There is absolutely no chance to fall asleep before 04:00/04:30 in summer because it is too noisy outside. In addition to that, throughout the night we heard banging noises coming from downstairs. Also, the entrance to the place is extremely sketchy: you have to walk into a smelly, dark corridor and pass by the kitchen of the pizzeria to get to the stairs and reach your room, which is also why you can hear the noise of both the outside and the inside. I had to spend the whole night with my earphones and watch movies or listen to music - of course with my own internet, as wifi did not work in the room. I probably only slept 3 hours overall, one of the worst nights I have ever had!

Beware, this is a noisy location. The restaurant downstairs is open late and the hotel is close to the main party-bar-area. Which we were fine with and we kind of expected it. But one of us repeatedly woke up during one of the two nights. The staff scolded us for picking up our keys in the reception area (which is basically a cup board) without letting them know. There was no one in the area and I sent them a message immediately we got into the room. They replied that they were happy with that and made no comments until the day after. I noticed that on the invoice it said room 9, but the key was for room 4 and they tried blaming that on us.

The cleaner was very thorough. Most of the staff were very helpful. However, as mentioned below the waitress who eventually let us in was so rude she let the rest of the team down.

The waitress that eventually let us in was extremely rude, and couldn’t have been more unhelpful. She should stay in the kitchen. The room had terrible wifi and the television cut out on every occasion it was in use. The room was so sparsely furnished it looked like a cell, entirely different from what was advertised.

The location is the best! The property has a small, private and cozy feeling to it. The almost hidden backway entry to the rooms was endearing. The backrooms were quiet in the evening and the busyness of the main street at front did not reach the back at all, so the evening was nicely quiet. The room was clean and minimally but tastefully decorated. Bathroom and shower were excellent!

I wish the room had a coffee machine and/or a kettle for private use since there isn’t an early house-breakfast service provided. The view from the backroom isn’t the nicest since there is a lot of renovations and building happening, so curtains on the windows could provide a bit of comfort and privacy.

I loved the location of the hotel. It was central to all the places we wanted to see in Bamberg and I loved that it was connected to the Casa Italia restaurant. Staff was very nice and accommodating, and food was superb! The room itself was clean, modern, and a great place to rest.

I loved the stay and would only recommend that the owner clearly mark how to get to the rooms. Navigating the stairwell was a little confusing but manageable. Other than that, it was very nice and I would stay again regardless.

Location. In the heart of the Old City. Clean room. Very basic amenities.

NO parking. Reception and checkout was chaotic! No English spoken. No help with luggage up a storey of stairs. No help with finding overnight parking.

The whole room was kinda dated and didn't passed to me the sensation of cleanliness. The shower sometimes did not had hot water. Overall I would rather if I stayed at another place.

The location is perfect

Nobody in the reception for more then 20minutes. Then the cook came out of the kitchen. Told me that I didnt make a reservation. Which I did. Then he gave me a key and asked me to pay. (He knew why) I went up. Terrible room. It was still dirty from the guest before. I went down. Again 20 min before somebody attended me. Then i had to wait untill they find somebody to clean the room. I went to park my car and came back. ( about 40 minutes) and still the room was not ready. In the morning the cleaning lady woke me Up by mistake at 7 😔
