Excellent location

Everything about this apartment is SUPER! — in any language!

the location was exceptional. The apartment was small but pleasant and very well arranged. it was clean and fresh.

There is no one in the building to ask information. The Frankisches room where we stayed did not have a Wi-Fi signal at all. I had to sit at the stairs of the building for the Wi-Fi.

Location

Wifi was very poor and patchy having to go into toilet or hallway to use. SERIOUS ISSUE OF BICYCLES BLOCKING ENTRANCE HALLWAY WHICH COULD BE DISASTROUS IN CASE OF FIRE OR EMERGENCY.

The location is ideal.

The location and view were absolutely amazing! The apartment was very clean and well kept. The kitchen had a nice stock of coffee pods, sugar, salt, and pepper, etc. The owner really does a nice job of making the guest feel comfortable. We enjoyed sitting by the windows and watching people walking on the bridge or just listening to the rush of water from the river. It was very peaceful there and surprisingly quiet for such a central location.

The only minor complaint I have is that the bed my husband and I slept on was actually a pull-out couch. (There were also two twin beds in the other room, but my children slept there.) It wasn't uncomfortable so much as very, very firm. If you are a back sleeper, then it's probably not a problem. But as a side sleeper, it made me a little sore and I woke several times throughout the night. I found it hard to get comfortable.

The location is incredible - the view is from the apartment directly over the river to the Rathaus. It is a short walk to the city centre and there are various restaurants and cafes nearby. A secure car park is also a short walk to the apartment. The apartment is small but very clean and comfortable.

Fabulous location overlooking the Rathaus bridge. Easy to get in with a lockbox right outside. Was actually larger than expected and loved the roominess. Coffee and dishes in the kitchen and WiFi. We loved it and I’d book again!

There were only 2 twin beds on the sleeping area. We were away for a romantic weekend so that was a bit surprising at first but worked out okay. The couch in the living room did fold down to a larger bed.

Perfect location. Very clean. Easy access to keys. Fans for both bedrooms.

Wifi wasn't working for us. Body soap for the shower would be a nice addition.

This is a picture-perfect location in the center of the old town, right on the Regnitz River and adjacent to the Altes Rathaus, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The building is old but the apartments are nicely updated and comfortable. Even the slightly sloping floor adds a charm to this delightful location. Fresh paint, clean rooms, nice, if small, bathrooms and modest cooking facilities in the two rooms we rented. You couldn’t ask for a nicer home base from which to enjoy the sights and scenes of the wonderful town of Bamberg! If I’m lucky enough to visit Bamberg again, this will be my first choice for a place to stay!

As seems to be the norm in Europe, shower stalls are pretty tiny. This was no exception. But, it was bigger than one I had in a Munich hotel for which I paid quite a bit more! That is the only thing that was a small negative.
