The location was very good, 10 min walking from the center. The room was very good. Cleanliness of the floor not perfect, the rest very good. Breakfast not very big but more than average. I would certainly advise

lovely quiet location but easy walk to station and old town area. nearby forest walking paths were lovely. clean & comfortable room & great breakfast . staff courteous & helpful.

all signage was in German, which was not helpful for an English speaker and as no concierge, no one to ask.

Room was vary small and basic but overall pleasant and clean when I arrived. Wifi code was provided in the room. Good value for money compared to other hotels in the area, with breakfast included in the price, although the room didn't get cleaned or towels replaced while I was there but as I was only staying 2 days I didn't mind (this could be an issue for other guests though). Breakfast was good on the first day when I went at 7:30 with a selection of cereals, cold meats, cheese, salad, fruit, bread etc., but the next day I went a little later and there wasn't as much left. Drinking water and a selection of teas were available at all times in the breakfast room which I liked. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and were able to book a taxi for me. Location was good, probably about a 10 minute walk to the main shops and restaurants in the town center and about a 20 minute walk from the train station.

I arrived at 8pm as I'd requested on booking and had got a confirmation email to say that was ok. On arriving the door was locked and there was no staff at the hotel to let me in, and no instructions had been emailed to me in advance. I rang the emergency number on the keypad at the door on both of my phones and the automated message said the number was temporarily unavailable. I managed to get inside 30 minutes later with another guest who had the door code, and eventually worked out that the key for my room was in a drawer opposite the reception desk. By 9pm my partner in the UK had managed to get in touch with the staff from the hotel who provided the code for the door which allowed me to go out for food as I was starving after a full day of traveling there. This was a very stressful experience for me and I nearly had to go to a different hotel. If check-in instructions and the door code had been emailed to me in advance, this wouldn't have been an issue for me at all. The room was very cold at night, despite me having the heating dial turned to max, and the duvet on my bed was very small and barely covered me so I kept waking up very cold during the night.

Super quiet room, great breakfast, awesome location. A huge plus for the refreshments fridge in the corridor! Couldn't have gone any better.

The locks work, but a more modern & private check-in would improve upon what already is a great experience.

Fabulous location about 10 minutes walk to the centre. Lovely large rooms and wonderful breakfast. Plenty of parking about 3 min walk from the hotel in the Parking garage.

Very pleasant hotel located in a quiet neighborhood next to the historic city center. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. What I especially loved was the breakfast - a great variety of breads, meats, eggs, cheeses, vegetables, fruit and cake to choose from, everything fresh and delicious. The coffee was great too, and the availability of cold mineral water and hot boiling water together with a collection of teabags and instant coffee was a nice touch, one could get an apple and hot drink for free any time during the day or night. The staff was very friendly, though available only during the mornings. However, we had no problems checking in using the entry code provided by the staff, and finding the room and key was super easy. Perfect value for money! This was my second stay in this hotel, and both me and my colleagues are very satisfied and would recommend to anyone.

For us all was great. People may not like the fact that the reception is not open all day (only in the mornings), the room was a bit cold at times. The rooms are not cleaned every day due to unavailability of staff and to cut down on costs, but we did not mind this at all. The towels could be larger and thicker. However, these are all very minor issues, more than compensated for by the low price of the hotel. Quiel location, breakfast and free coffee were far more important to us. than daily cleaning

I loved that the lady prepared breakfast even when it was earlier than the scheduled hour. Hotel is very centrally located.

What a little gem! We loved this place, the owner was very kind and the room was clean and had everything we needed. The location was perfect, easy parking on the street and very close to the old city. The buffet type breakfast was the best we had in our whole trip, it was better than in 5-star hotels, and I'm not joking. One night wasn't enough, we will come back! Danke schön!
