House was impeccably clean and comfortable. Little touches like a charging station and basket of blankets in the living showed that the owners have thought about providing everything necessary for guests to have a comfortable stay

We had a wonderful time at Greg’s rental. He had anticipated every need we might have had. It was lovely and truly a cozy cottage.

"Cozy cottage" is the perfect name for this place! We had a wonderful time and were so impressed with the number of amenities available. The host worked with us on a last minute change in numbers and notified of extra bedding that was available. We utilized the beach toys, there were all the basic kitchen needs. We had 8 family members in and out, including 2 under 3 years old. The fact there were a few kids toys they could get out was so nice! We didn't bring a pack'n'play, but the extra twin mattress that could be used on the ground was perfect for them. There were thoughtful touches, like fresh flowers and the *most amazing* chocolate chip cookies waiting for us on arrival. Very nice neighborhood, we took a couple walks to trails but it is quite a distance to be able to walk to a beach- less than a 10 minute drive though! Only regret is we didn't stay longer!

A great place to stay for family. Short drive to beaches and places to eat. Great neighborhood to walk and for views of lake. House had everything we needed and was very comfortable for our group.

We enjoyed our stay at the cozy cottage. It was perfect for our family of six adults and one small child. We were able to walk in the beautiful neighborhood and watch the sunset over the lake. We had easy access to the beach, restaurants, grocery store and coffee shop. The house was well stocked and had plenty of space in the living room for all of us. There was ample table space indoors and out with a distant view of the lake. The home has vintage character and has been nicely updated. Fresh flowers and delicious chocolate chip cookies welcomed us. Responses to our texts/ call were prompt. Highly recommend this home.

Perfect location. Quiet neighborhood just steps away from the sunset on the lake each night. We walked to the art fair on the bluff. Grandma, Aunt and Uncle slept in the downstairs bedrooms while the young family members with two children (2 and 5 years of age) had their privacy upstairs with their own bedrooms and bath. The kids loved the bunk beds. St Joe never disappoints. We had a great time. The check in process was very easy and we were welcomed with fresh flowers and home baked cookies. The cookies were a big hit! Thanks to the owners for sharing their lovely home and thinking of everything.

My family and I always look to rent a different house for our summer vacations to Lake Michigan. The decision was unanimous, this house was everyone's favorite. We were less than a five minute drive to Silver Beach or downtown St Joseph. We were also able to walk down the quiet neighborhood streets and watch the sunsets over the lake in the evening.

Loved this well accomodated cottage! Perfect for our family gathering. Clean, well cared for, with anything you will need. Quick access back and forth to downtown and Silver beach!

The house was as expected, no surprises. We had a great time thanks to some perfect fall weather and no crowds.

Came for a fall weekend with my two kids and 80 yo mom. The house was exactly as pictured in a beautiful neighborhood, loved being able to walk down the street to see the sunset and lake. It was conveniently located to downtown St Joseph. The house was stocked with everything we needed. We enjoyed our stay and hope to come back again!

We had a family get together as my brother has a place in St. Joe’s. This cottage is a warm and comfy space with lots of areas for chilling with wine and a view! We also visited many rooftop restaurants, beaches and antiquing along Red Arrow Highway. Gorgeous Lake Michigan!

Beautiful home and a great location and close to everything.

Comfortable space for my out of state kids and grandkids to have a short reunion. Can't walk to the beach, but a quick drive to Jean Klock beach (less crowded than Silver Beach) and short drive into town. Appreciated the two eating spaces. We used the extra mattress that was in a closet for a guest that was only there for one night

Our group felt at home from the moment we entered. Our walk to the lakefront was only really steps which allowed many amazing sunsets. This home is highly recommended.

I have been heading to St. Joseph my whole life for summer fun in the sun. We were so grateful to be able to share this treasure with our friends. The cottage was well stocked and seemed very well thought out. Lots of space to spread out in a quiet neighborhood. We were close enough to get to the beach within a few minutes everyday, but the house was so comfy we could just stay in and enjoy the quiet of the neighborhood.

"The stay in St. Joe was so much fun. The home is located really close to everything...even an ice cream place a short walk away. Inside, you will find lots of really big windows and natural light and plenty of space to strech out or play games after a long day at the beach. Host was always great about communicating and you can tell how much this home is loved. Five star vacation this year!!!"

My friends and I wanted to have a ladies retreat weekend, so we settled on the Cozy Cottage hoping it would be enough space for 6 of us and we were not disappointed! The 4 bedrooms and ample seating and dining areas give plenty of space for a larger group. In one of the upstairs bedrooms we even found a twin sized mattress in the closet so 6 people can sleep comfortably without sharing beds (if someone is brave enough for the top bunk). The upstairs is not connected to the central AC but there are window units in the rooms so you can cool it down for sleeping, but it was quite warm up there at check in. Check in and out processes were clearly detailed for us by the host and we really appreciated the information left on the entry table. There were even QR codes for local activities and restaurants! It was very detailed and such a nice touch. Our group really enjoyed sitting outside in the mornings. You can see the lake through the neighbors yard and its so peaceful. Also a very nice area for a walk. The driveway fit the 3 vehicles we brought as a group but would definitely not fit more than that. St Joe is a great little town and this is a perfect house for a relaxing getaway. We hope to come back!

We had such a lovely time staying in this charming home. The hosts had thought of everything- store loyalty cards on the keys, warm chocolate chip cookies and fresh flowers waiting for us, plenty of throw blankets, a well organized and appointed kitchen, beach towels, etc. The downstairs beds were firm, which we did not mind but may be an issue depending on your preferences. The neighborhood was quiet and lovely, and you can see the lake from the dining room and patio. We would absolutely stay here again!

We had a great stay this property. The house was very clean and welcoming. Great location. About 5 minutes driving to downtown st Joseph. Owner was more than accommodating. This was a great experience, and one of the best VRBOs we have stayed in. We love at Joseph and will definitely try and stay at this property again

This house had everything that we needed and it was clean! A great home away from home feeling. Close enough to downtown that made things easily accessible to take a short drive to the beach or shops. Well equipped kitchen and very helpful owner. Thank you for a great stay we cannot wait to come back.

Our first vacay to Michigan, and we were not disappointed. The personal touches provided by the owners were a pleasant surprise! The house had everything we needed and extra!!! Plenty of blankets, towels, toiletry items and a well stocked kitchen! I didn’t know there was a basement and that was a nice surprise as my kids had a fun place to play and run wild even when it was scorching hot or rained.

Wonderful house, wonderful location (great neighborhood and next door to a Frank Lloyd Wright house) and excellent lake and sunset views. Highly recommended!

This well maintained, well stocked, clean cottage was a fabulous getaway. The quiet, residential neighborhood was welcoming and the beaches were close. The comfortable spaces lent themselves to several simultaneous activities and the 2 patios were used regularly. Communication with the owner was easy. We look forward to returning.
