Our family of 4 had a great stay in the heart of La Jolla. Everything was within walking distance: restaurants, the beach, La Jolla Cove, and much more. Hope to be able to stay again in the future.

This home has everything my friends and I needed for a short trip to La Jolla. Nick had plenty of accommodations for small children which helped tremendously. Access to the garage was clutch when on street parking was non existent. We went to El Pescador ( in my opinion the best restaurant in La Jolla ) multiple times which you can see from the rooftop patio. Would highly recommend this home for a big family, multiple friends groups, or anyone looking for a cozy residential spot in central La Jolla.

I fell in love with this home. The pictures do not do it justice I was super impressed with the cleanliness and how roomy the place was. It has everything you need to make you feel at home and is so close to all the major attractions would definitely stay here again

We celebrated our dad's birthday by staying in San Diego for the weekend. What a great stay! The house was large enough for a party of 10. The two dens downstairs are bedrooms - one with 3 beds and one with 1 bed. Three bedrooms upstairs each with 1, 1, and 2 beds. My bed was very squeaky but comfortable. The house was clean although the outside areas could have used a little touch-up of cleaning. The location was amazing. Close to beach, shopping and restaurants.

The location was great. House was very clean and spacious. Communication was good. We stayed when temperatures were 96+ degrees; not Nick’s fault of course. The temps in the house on our first evening at 8pm were 81+ degrees and climbing. We noticed A/C vents and controls, so we contacted Nick. He said he could turn on the A/C if we paid $150 for 2 1/2 days. I’ve never heard of such a thing… ever. Next thing you know we’ll be paying for water and air.

This was perfect house for friends and family to stay at for our wedding weekend. The house was beautiful and close to everything in La Jolla. Nick the host was a great communicator when we had questions or needed help. We nightly recommend this VRBO.

Absolutely loved our stay in La Jolla!! Fantastic home & fantastic location!!

My 7 buddies and I have been going to March Madness for years - as we've gotten older we've gotten a little more upscale with our accommodations. This house fit the bill. Big main room for us to congregate and watch games. Patio, Dining roof, and roof terrace gave us places to spread out. TV had all the channels we needed and allowed us to DVR games while we went to the games being played locally. One of the downstairs room had 3 beds and was basically a "kids room" - no real storage space or closets - no real door. This was fine for the two of us who stayed there - we just lived out of our suitcases. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, glasses, cooking implements - some of the basics like oil and salt were in the cupboard. They had sugar for coffee (can't remember about creamers or if they supplied coffee - I'm pretty sure we bought a bag and a pint of cream). The location was AMAZING. A few blocks from the beach. Nearby Tennis and Pickleball courts. Walk to the bar district. The "Taco Stand" is a local institution with a line out the door - a 2 minute walk from house - we ate there 3 times in 3 days (the smothered fries are amazing!). The owner is obviously very concerned about noise - lots of reminders to be quiet after hours. We were mindful of this during our late night poker games - we kept the games inside and had a no screaming rule after 10 pm. It was a bit of a concern but we didn't have any problems. We'd definitely stay here again.

This location was absolutely perfect. And close walking distance to everything. The home was so large and the rooftop deck was perfect for watching the sunset.

Our stay at Nicks place was very comfortable. The house was well equipped with everything we needed even for a ten month old baby! The beds are comfortable, the bathrooms were stocked with soap and shampoo and the house was very clean! The location is fantastic, we walked all over La Jolla and “The Taco Shack” is a must and is right next door! Thank you Nick, we will be back! Cheri

Home shows better online than in person. We rent homes often when traveling, just wasn't impressed with the interior at all. Location was in walking distance to restaurants etc, but didn't really hang out too much at the house. Best part was the outdoor patio area. Didn't hang out on rooftop either, light was out and couldn't see at night. Anyway Thanks for Hosting us.

The house was perfect for a family gathering. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, glassware, silverware and more -- plus there are so many beds -- we did not even use them all! The location was great. Easy access to the beach, the village and UCSD. I also must praise Nick for responding to any message I sent instantly! We would gladly stay there again.

A beautiful home in one of the most beautiful places in the states. The property is blocks from the beach but quiet and peaceful. Literally 20 seconds away from one the best taco shops in San Diego and blocks from beautiful beaches I couldn’t ask for better home base for a vacation l. Owner is friendly and quick to respond. The home could comfortably fit people and has everything you need

Convenient location, and plenty of space for all. Did have an issue with the water heater going out, which caused some frustration, as we were not able to shower before boarding our flights. Nick, the property manager was very responsive. December 2020

Nick was great, always very responsive. Location of the property was perfect for us. Walk to beach, great restaurants, coffee, etc. We got a "last minute deal" so we were thrilled to luck out! Everything is as advertised. Definitely plan on coming back!!

The property itself was wonderful and was exactly as depicted on the website....although our family thought it was better than described. The kitchen, living room and enclosed family area off of the living room was extremely well outfitted and comfortable. I was able to work in the "off living room area" all day while not disturbing my family and vice versa. With that, I had no problems with internet access and was able to Zoom/Teams without any issues. The bathrooms, bedrooms really hit the mark and were well updated and there are plenty of bed capacity. Having a guaranteed parking spot in a locked private garage made a big difference. There was parking if one was patient but with the garage we never had to hunt on the street. Location - wonderful coffee houses, restaurants, stores and grocery stores all within walking distance. The beach and La Jolla Cove were in walking distance with plenty of activities for all ages. For us, we were going from and to UCSD a great deal and it was a 10 to 15 minute drive from here. We can't thank Nick enough and is the most responsive host we have ever rented from....I asked him a bunch of questions in the weeks leading up to and during the stay and I don't think any response was greater than 10 minutes and they were always helpful. We will definitely look to stay here again when visiting our kids in San Diego and this gets our highest recommendation!!

We rented this property for a family wedding. We were totally pleased with the location as it is close to EVERYTHING!! The beach is an easy walk. SUPER close to the famous and popular Taco Stand. It is always busy but well worth the wait. Also an easy walk to Italian, pizza and many other options. Plenty of room for everyone with lots of TV’s to allow for numerous viewing options. Oh and a great view from the rooftop as well. Will definitely rent the property again when we return to the La Jolla area.

You can’t beat the location- most of the time we just walked whether it was going to the beach, to the grocery store or to restaurants. There are many really good places to eat. The beds are very comfortable but the pillows were ok. There was plenty of room for everyone. We especially enjoyed the ocean views from the rooftop terrace. There is a large screen tv in 3 of the rooms and we even made one of the downstairs room our yoga studio for the week!!Just a heads up: if you’re planning to cook, then you will find the kitchen less than fully equipped. Besides a coffee maker, there are no other electric kitchen gadgets. Pots and pans are a little old and beat up. They have plenty of beach stuff in the garage although we would have liked to see some beach towels. But all in all, it’s a great place to stay. And most important of all, Nick was very responsive every time we reached out to him.

Me and 2 other friends stayed on this property for 3 nights. We had a blast, everything is walking distance and there is a beautiful view on the roof. Check in was easy and communication was flawless. Would definitely recommend this place to a bigger group, but would stay here again

The location is superb, close to the beach, tons of wonderful fun dining options, safe neighborhood. The property was immaculate and the rooftop view is wonderful.
