We
Had a lovely stay at Yenworrhy barn. The
Location is great and the barn is well equipped with everything needed.

Absolutely fabulous property. Beautiful views, very clean, wonderfully cozy and just a fab location. Could not fault! It was equally as important to us that we had the ability to bring one of our family members along who needed access-friendly elements to the house (which it did) and ultimately made the whole holiday even more relaxing and enjoyable for everyone. Also, there is the most gorgeous sheep dog who lives next to the properly who we saw helping a local farmer round up sheep most days. We gave this dog the nickname 'Frank' - every time Frank popped his head round the drive or went past - everyone in the house yelled "FRAANK" and went out to give him some attention (which he kindly reciprocated!). Honestly, this place is such a hidden gem and was perfect for our family vacation. 100% recommend!

Beautiful setting. The house was comfortable and manageable. The open plan style was good for spending time together as we cooked, ate and relaxed. Housekeeper was very responsive to questions and delivered additional glassware within half an hour of being contacted.

Beautiful setting, wonderful accommodation and plenty of walks. Ideal for relaxing and/or walking holiday. Highly recommend it.

Brilliant location for amazing walking in Exmoor and the farmland surrounding the barn. The walk to the pebble beach from the farm was stunning, highly recommend it but be prepared for a long walk uphill on your return!

Excellent accommodation very spacious, absolutely everything you could need was supplied plus a bottle of wine

hi this is our 2nd time staying at the barn and had a great time. its so nice to have a large open space, makes it better when some cooking and the others chilling. Great communications prior to our stay so had nothing to worry about. Such a great area to stay when on some lovely windy walks.
will defiantly be back

If you like the countryside and walking, Yenworthy is a great place. The farm is attractive, has lots of permissive paths and the path network beyond couldn't be better. We didn't use our cars for half the week. The barn is spacious and had everything we needed. And we really enjoyed watching the martins swoop around the farmyard.
4.8
Lovely clean cottage, nice and warm and perfect for going for a little walk around the farm (very hilly!) Small downsides were squeeky floors and low tap water in hand taps - however everyone was very happy with the showers! Towels and hairdryer provided were useful. All in all I would recommend a visit.

Lovely location, beautiful walks from the door. Had a really good family holiday. Plenty of space for all 9 of us.

Lovely location, great space, incredibly well equipped. Thank you so much. We were very aware that you have probably had very little income during Covid-19 so we left tulips at the Farmhouse to say thank you for honoring our booking, at the same price, as we booked it two years ago. Each time we had to reschedule due to Covid-19 the service was clear, quick and warm. Thank you so much for all that you do.

Lovely location. Lots of walks. Large space - plenty of room for large groups. Power shower was very welcome. Ideal for dog owners.

Lovely spot, fantastic space upstairs. Beautiful part of England. The barn was extremely clean on arrival. We had an excellent time here.

Magnificent space for group or family get-togethers in secluded Exmoor valley but within easy reach of Lynmouth and Lynton. Lovely upside down arrangement so big, warm social space and quiet, comfortable bedrooms with plenty of really good hot showers to wash away the mud (February 2020 was the wettest on record). Well equipped kitchen with good dishwasher, big saucepans and plenty of plates. Useful space for hanging wet coats and putting boots out of the way both upstairs and down. Lovely to see the sheep from the giant windows and thanks to Hazel for answering questions and making us feel so welcome.
Brilliant for keen walkers with a network of paths, including very short distance to SW coastal path and Coleridge Way, straight from the door. Discovered the East Lyn walks up to Brendon and Oare (Lorna Doone Valley), which were sheltered walks off the moor in the face of strong westerly gales. We had wind, rain, hail and even a bit of snow but it was all lovely and so much to do.

Stayed there for a long weekend for our son’s birthday celebration. Everything was perfect. Lovely location, plenty of space for kids to play. The barn is very clean, spacious and it has everything you need for a perfect holiday.
We will definitely go back and we would recommend to all of our friends and family.

Stunning peaceful location. Beautiful well equipped barn. Incredible walks

The living area at Yenworthy barn is just as spacious as it looks in the pictures and the location is stunning. We enjoyed walks with the dogs from the house as well as visiting local landmarks. We particularly enjoyed lunch at the Blue Ball at Countisbury (dog friendly) after a beautiful walk around Countisbury head (around 10 minutes drive from Yenworthy) and a picnic at the Valley of the rocks where the younger members of our group climbed to the top for amazing sea views.
No down side to this place at all for us but just to mention that the water pressure is terrible so don't expect a power shower! (I think I saw that in a previous review?)
Overall a beautiful place to stay.

The open plan barn is very spacious, well furnished and was ideal for our
family celebration. The kitchen facilities are excellent and the numerous
toilet/bathrooms make group living easy. It is such a quiet location, the
silence is only broken by birdsong and occasional bleating sheep, and the
views are beautiful, weather permitting you will see stunning sunsets. The
walks from the barn are great, with open hillsides and wooded valleys, but
involve many ups and downs, so be prepared. A very useful information book
is provided to help with everything.

This is a fabulous spacious barn conversion in the most stunning setting . We loved the fact we could walk anywhere on the farm and to the SW coast path . We loved the laid back welcome , of course we looked after it , no lengthy list of rules pasted everywhere thank goodness .
The showers and hot water were awesome .
Beautifully quiet and remote but within walking distance of the bus . Loved it all .

This is a great place in a great location for a large family or group. We got a bit unlucky with that our original booking fell into the national COVID-19 lockdown in March 2020, but the team let us rebook, which we appreciated.
But again due to COVID-19 restrictions, only 4 out of the original party of 10 were able to stay. All that said, we had a great time and the cottage definitely would have been big enough for the original plan with 10 people.
I think the price is fair for what it has to offer but in the end, for just a family of four staying, it obviously wasn't exactly cheap.

This is an absolutely stunning property, perfect for four couples and five dogs! Spotlessly clean, comfy beds and fabulous powerful showers.
The lovely open plan living area really lends itself to large groups and the outside enclosed area was perfect for the dogs you can reach the south west coastal path within minutes, so ideal for walking. The views are incredible. Communication with Teresa was great, very prompt replies to any query and very accommodating.
Added bonus was the Tesco delivers there!
Would highly recommend.
