This condo is incredible! The view from the living room and kitchen of the ocean in the distance is so relaxing and beautiful. The rooms are comfortable and the owners truly care about your experience. They have thought of so many things that make the visit so much easier from beach chairs/towels, a backpack cooler, ice packs, every cooking item you could want, storage containers and endless pillows to find the perfect one to fit your sleeping needs. An elevator or a couple flights of stairs take you down to the main level where you make a quick turn and walk around the building to select either a poolside chair or up and over a small dune to get to the beach. It is just so easy and beautiful we already booked again for next year. The location of Palmetto Dunes is perfect. Across the way from Shelter Cove and just 15 mins to Sea Pines and another 15 mins the other direction to the Super Walmart. Lots of grocery options around, endless eating options, miniature golf nearby and beautiful walking/biking trails all throughout the Palmetto Dunes area. I can’t recommend this condo and location enough. It was the cleanest place I have ever stayed as well as the owner being such a delight to work with.

We had a great time with our young kids. Plenty of space for everyone to have down time. Heated pool was perfect for cooler days. Host was very responsive with additional requests.

We stayed for 4 days prior to going to a wedding in Savannah. We wished we stayed the week. The condo was one of the nicest we have stayed in across the country. It was immaculate, well stocked, spacious and the views were spectacular!

My first stay with VRBO as we usually stay at a friend's place or a hotel. Very, very happy with the unit, the location, the cleanliness, and the well stocked kitchen. While we didn't cook, the variety of glasses, the comfortable couches, the view and bedding made we want to stay longer. You just can't go wrong staying here

My wife and I stay in VRBOs all over the country from the Carolina beaches to Jackson Hole, WY. This condo rates #1 as the best-appointed condo we have ever stayed in. Yes, the condo is on the beach and in a great location, yes the views especially the sunrises are truly amazing but the small creature features found in this condo were so well thought out. Just small things from a basket full of mini led lights for walking on the beach at night to clips for snack bags and everything in between. This made everything super convenient and we felt right at home. A big plus is this unit appears to have just been renovated so everything feels like it’s brand new. The owners did not cheap out with the typical “beach” furniture and accessories, from the wall hangings to the heavy deck furniture, it was all quality and we felt right at home. We will definitely keep this on the top of our list for our next visit to Hilting Head.

As advertised…central to the best of Palmetto Dunes. Golf, Tennis, Restaurants and general store all within walking distance in a quiet neighborhood and steps away from pool and beach. Condo is in typical old building for the area but the recent remodel was nicely done and up to modern standards for layout, decor and quality. Furniture is comfortable and it is very well stocked with everything you need and better than typical rental. Check in was a breeze, no unreasonable expectations for checkout and communication with owner was very good. We would stay again.

The condo is newly renovated and beautiful. The kitchen is well stocked and all the appliances are new. The balcony view is phenomenal and it is a short walk to the beach. We hope to stay here for many years.

Amazing property in beautiful setting! Lauri is a great owner - great job communicating and keeping me updated. We were arriving about the same time as hurricane!! Lauri kept us informed of island updates related to storm. This property has all the amenities - well stocked kitchen and really comfortable beds! Will definitely be returning!! Five stars!

This villa was everything included in the description. It was very clean, spacious, well taken care of, had beautiful views & was very close to the ocean. Our family has vacationed at this Captain's Walk Villa for many years. Each year, we are impressed with all of the updates to the unit. The new open kitchen and beautiful appliances were greatly enjoyed this year. The villa is always immaculately clean with an abundance of high quality linens. We find its location very convenient to everything on the island. The McVeigh's are wonderful to deal with and have each detail about our vacation stay in perfect order. You will love every aspect of this grand vacation villa.

This was my very first VRBO and all I can say is that it gives future rentals a lot to live up to! At first I was nervous about 7 of us sharing the space but my concern was unfounded. We had plenty of room and privacy! The kitchen was amazing with every gadget you could imagine! It was clear that Lauri and Scott anticipated every possible need, clearly laid out in a binder, as well as personal recommendations for restaurants and activities. A+++ for view and location.

This is our second year staying in this condo. It works very well for our group of ladies. It has been very clean both times. The owners are very easy to communicate with. Wonderful experience!!

We had a wonderful stay. We come to Hilton Head Palmetto Dunes every year and this was by far the best condo we have stayed in. Incredibly well-stocked with everything you would need. Clean, great beds/baths, super nice furniture and appliances. Owners were great at communicating amenities and expectations. Beautiful view. Beach and pool were not overly crowded. We loved it!

The condo was up to date, very well stocked, clean, and organized. We actually ended up bringing some things we probably didn’t need! It was spacious to accommodate our family of 6. Our host Lauri was very welcoming and informative, and her communication was an extra special touch on what already would have been a wonderful stay! We would definitely love to go back again!

We are very fortunate to be able to book this property the last minute. The host Ms. Lauri helped us tremendously making the paperwork and checking-in procedure easy and pleasant. The property has everything we were hoping for: nice and clean rooms, the pool, the beach... We all had wonderful time (the youngest is 7, the oldest is 80!).
