My 5 year old said the roof top was his favorite experience followed by San Diego Zoo gondola ride. Great location with many amenities and attractions within walking distance.

The property was very nice. Beds and bedding were comfortable. The beach was just steps away and the sunsets from the rooftop deck were fantastic! The only negative was that there were no casserole dishes to heat our take-out thanksgiving meal. We made it work with what was there.

Our family could walk to and from the beach quickly. Beach chairs and umbrellas were there for us to use. The outdoor space off the second bedroom was nice. Plenty of room for a family to spread out. The view from the rooftop deck was great and it was comfortable for just chilling.

We returned after a few years and were just as happy this time around. Pleasantly surprised to see some upgrades. Property manager communication was excellent and proactive. View from rooftop patio and location near beach cannot be beat. Can’t wait to book again!

We had a wonderful week at Hans’ home near Wind n Sea beach. The home was immaculate and had everything we needed for our stay. We used the hot tub every day and our older son loved the privacy of the casita. A three minute walk to the beach and close to restaurants and shops. We’ve been to La Jolla many times and this is one of our best experiences! We’ll be back!

We had a great at this beautiful house at Windnsea. It’s a block to a great beach walk. The roof top deck has amazing views and house had great separation of space for the 5 adults and our family visitors over the holiday. We’d stay there again!

This property is in a great location. It is well equipped and tastefully decorated. There are outdoor seating areas off both bedrooms, a nice living room spacious rooftop, so your whole party can gather in multiple places or each have their own space as needed. We would happily return here again.

This home was better than advertised! Hans was easy to deal with on any issue that came up. The rooftop deck was the absolute best! We used it every night! The Casita was also fabulous! Our family utilized all aspects of the home and everything was as advertised or better! We'd absolutely return and will recommend it to anyone looking for a perfectly located, relaxing beach home!

Great location

This house is amazing! Because we had 4 adults and 4 teenagers in our party, I was worried that we might have been a little cramped as the house only accommodates up to 8 persons. But, I did not need to worry. The house was clean, well equipped and easily accommodated all of us. And, it gave us the opportunity to have a wonderful vacation!

Excellent property for family of 4! Beach at end of the street is a little treacherous for small kids, but location is short distance to family friendly waters. Clean with great ammenities!

We loved our stay at Hans’ house, especially the rooftop deck. We spent time on the deck each day, enjoying the calming effect of the ocean or taking in the gorgeous sunsets through the palm trees. The house was incredibly clean upon our arrival — a huge plus. Although some of our party struggled with the circular stairs, they are very pretty and fit beautifully with the decor. Overall, it was a great week visiting family in a fantastic location.

Property just as advertised. Plenty of room to stretch out and host family we were visiting in the area. ~1 block walk to the beach, 2 min drive to La Jolla shopping. Would definitely stay again next visit

This property was absolutely amazing and was in a breathtaking location near a small la Jolla beach. The size of the property was perfect for our family of 7 to stay and be extremely comfortable. The property had everything we needed and more! Having the washer and dryer was great and the beach equipment and toys were perfect for us to use for our children. We absolutely loved the roof top deck which provided breathtaking views and relaxation with the comfortable patio furniture! The beds were very comfortable and the wifi was fast! The neighborhood was very clean, and quiet and again, it's a two minute walk to a clean and gorgeous beach!! We had an amazing time and it is perfect for families and provides everything you need for a great vacation, we will rent this property again in the future!

The best view in the Windansea beach area, you’ll find it hard leave! Even better than the photos. The roof top lounge area stuns at every hour of the day, whether watching the sun rise over the hills or setting over the Pacific. The main floor kitchen, dining and living area is spacious and modern. The gas fireplace in the living room is an added perk for cooler evenings. The ground floor completes the setting with 2 large bedrooms that are connected to a Casita by a private outdoor patio replete with jacuzzi and shower. We cannot wait to return!

My family and I really enjoyed this house. The location is excellent with good food options nearby and it’s very close to the beach. Would definitely recommend.

We rented this house for 3 weeks and had a wonderful stay. As a family of 5, including 3 teens, there was plenty of space to spread out. We loved the location by Windansea Beach. The house was just a few houses in from the beach and the view was great from the roof. Although the roof was a bit tricky to use for eating meals, as the narrow stairs made it challenging to carry thing up there. We frequently walked into the village of La Jolla to enjoy all the great restaurants. It’s about a mile walk and was nice to not need the car often. There was a taco shop, the Promicuous Fork, and a nice Market right up the street which was very convenient. There were some issues during our stay with some house maintenance, but Hans was extremely responsive and came right over to fix whatever the problem was. There are some items in the house that could use upgrading/replacing, these were brought to Hans’s attention and I have no doubt that he will make improvements to keep his guests happy. Overall we loved it and wish we could have stayed longer!

We've been staying in La Jolla for years and this is, by far, our favorite. We'll be back again soon!

We rented here before a couple years ago. Loved the neighborhood - being able to get food or be at the beach in just a few minute walk. House is spacious with lots of outdoor areas to enjoy the La Jolla weather. Very peaceful place to stay. Will try to stay here again on our next visit.
