We were looking for a place to stay with direct views of the water. This fit the bill perfectly. The condo appears to be somewhat newly renovated. There are four beach chairs available in the entry closet. The beds are pretty comfortable, the wifi is great, and the view can't be beat! The only minor issue that has been mentioned in some other reviews is the sun streaming in the windows in the morning is bright. Blackout curtains or shades would be nice. The wife ended up draping an extra blanket over the shades to help keep it out for the kids. Getting in and out of the community is easy, just remember to stop at office at the entry to Palmetto Dunes and not the security stop further into the community to pick up your parking pass. The family pool is nice and has wide stairs and a splash area for littles. There are bathrooms nearby. The beach is fabulous. Tidepools formed every afternoon that provided lots of adventures. It is close to Coligny without being in the heart of traffic. We would definitely stay here again if we head back to HHI. The hosts were wonderful and provide a lot of helpful information regarding the condo and the area.

We had a wonderful time on the island. The views from morning to night are just beautiful with an added benefit of the property overlooking the pool. This property had everything we needed for restorative time away with family.

This condo is a great place to stay. This was the third time we have rented it. Over the years, we have rented many different houses, hotels and condos on Hilton Head. Palmetto Dunes and this condo are our favorites!

If you are used to staying in condos and don't mind noise and a crowded beach, then this condo is highly recommended. This particular condo is exactly as listed: immaculately clean, comfortable furniture and well stocked kitchen. The owner is easily reachable and responds almost immediately. The main issue we had was that the condo overlooks the family pool so it was loud from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. I like to sit on the balcony and listen to the ocean just as much as being on the beach and it was hard to hear the ocean waves over the pool noise. We usually stay in private homes directly on the beach that are quiet and less crowded so this was a let down for us. We have stayed in Hilton Head many times, but this is our first stay in Palmetto Dunes. Previously we have stayed in Sea Pines and we found Palmetto Dunes to be a step below Sea Pines. There aren't as many bike paths and things to bike to. Also, the beach was overly crowded compared to Sea Pines. It took away from the relaxation we had previously experienced and were looking forward to. The condo itself is 5 stars, and for us the area is maybe a 3 or 4.

Janice is a great host. Our family came to HHI for our anniversary and vow renewal and this rental was amazing. Janice even sent us an anniversary gift which was so sweet. Condo is exactly as the photos. It’s very clean with a well stocked kitchen. You will have everything you need to make family meals. The complex family pool is amazing. We loved the beach but preferred the pool and chairs. The beds were comfy and all 5 of us slept great. The only issue we had was the washer did not work but Janice was very responsive and tried to get it fixed and even offered her own personal home to wash our clothes in. Lucky for us we had family staying in Palmetto Dunes too so we just washed towels there. Great owner, great complex, best vacation ever. We would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely beautiful villa with outstanding views of the ocean. The unit was well stocked from the kitchen to the bead and bathrooms. Our hosts were so welcoming and available for assistance … easily the best we have ever experienced. Simply a great experience and we hope to visit in the future.
