Great location! Very close to the beach, and the boardwalk makes it an easy walk. You can see the water from the top deck, and the neighborhood is nice and quiet. If you bring a pup, watch out for stickers! The owner provides all sorts of essentials for the beach and in the kitchen. I can see how this house would be very appealing for groups. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay.

Our stay was wonderful. The property is beautiful! All appliances are top of the line and the house is fully stocked with whatever is needed for fun in the sun and relaxation. Communication with property owners was effortless and they were so friendly. We will be back!

This is our second time staying at the Blue Roost, and we had an amazing time! The property has been significantly upgraded since our last stay around six or seven years ago, and it's really lovely inside with all the amenities you need. The bedrooms were cool and comfortable, which was welcome after a hot day at the beach. The rooftop deck and views are an added bonus, and we also really appreciated all the beach accessories available to us—especially the wagon to haul it all! We'll definitely be back.

We had a wonderful week staying at the Blue Roost! I’ve never stayed at a rental so well stocked. There was a closet full of beach toys, sun shades, chairs, coolers, a wagon, and more. The kitchen was stocked well with cooking equipment and spices. The beach is accessible via a private boardwalk for the La Playa neighborhood. It was a quiet, family friendly area.

My family rented this house for 3 nights. Check-in and check-out was phenomenal and easy. Communication was quick and efficient. For this house to be on the beach, it was clean to our satisfaction. Very very minimal sand, beds are clean and comfy, showers and toilets are clean and worked properly. Our favorite was finding the little extras that the owners and previous tenants had left behind for the next! We left a couple of extras ourselves as to pay it forward. Our only suggestion would be to maybe replace the rug inside and on the front porch as they’re both stained, but aside from that we would most definitely rent this property again! 10/10 would recommend.

LOOK NO FURTHER!! Clean, spacious, well stocked, fantastic location close to the beach and downtown shops/restaurants. Lauren was very responsive and caring.

Plenty of room, good location, bedroom upstairs is great for lots of kids, beds are super comfy, fully stocked kitchen with lots of extras like spices, baggies, etc. Nice deck to sit on and have coffee or wine. Air worked well! Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would stay again.

We absolutely loved our time here. The house was the perfect location! It was clean and with one of the best stocked kitchens. We enjoyed the beach chairs & boogie boards that were available as well. It was really nice not having to pack those items.

We had such a great time ! I’ve stayed in many rentals and I’ve never stayed in a house that had so many amenities. Everything we needed was there, and were surprised when we opened up more drawers, and found more items. We cooked every night, but one and had everything we needed As others have said, the beds were so comfy and it was just a nice clean great house

This was a perfect stay for my bachelorette weekend! There were 8 girls and we all stayed in separate beds. The kitchen had everything we needed. You can’t get much closer to the beach!

We had a wonderful weekend getaway to the beach and really enjoyed our stay at the Blue Roost. The home was welcoming and had everything we needed. We were steps from the private boardwalk leading to the beach. We spent lots of time sitting on the porch in the morning and evening enjoying the breeze and just relaxing. Our dog loved finding sunny spots to lay in outside on the porch as well! The upstairs deck offered a great view of the ocean and sunset on the opposite side. There were just two of us and our dog, but there was room for many more.

This is truly a great beach house! We rented the property as a quiet winter getaway for my 50th birthday - just me, my husband and our 18 year old daughter. I had a few questions/communications with Lauren before we booked and she was prompt, kind and accommodating. Upon arrival, we found the house to be exactly as described. It’s bright and airy and beautifully decorated. On our second night, my husband surprised me with the arrival of two friends and their teen son and my adult son and DIL - so for one night, our party of 3 became 8 adults. The house felt spacious enough for everyone, yet comfortable enough for the rest of the stay when it was just two of us. The beds are amazing - I napped every day and I never nap. We had planned to go out for dinner, but the kitchen was so well-stocked and great to cook in that we had all of our meals in. We played corn hole on the top deck looking at the ocean, relaxed in the breeze on the second deck and played games around the dining room table. The walk to the beach is very easy for almost everyone and the section of beach that the house is on was beautiful. My husband and I are already planning to visit again and stay longer - now that we know the internet is reliable we can work from the blue roost - there’s a desk upstairs and plenty of room downstairs for both of us to set up shop. If you’re considering this house, you won’t be disappointed. We often rent homes when traveling because we have a large brood - and this one was the most comfortable and homey that we have ever rented.

This house is perfect for our friends and family! We love the house and it’s easy proximity to the Beach. Also, Lauren is lovely to deal with. All easy peasy!

Great location - just a short walk to the beach so you can easily go back and forth without needing to rent a golf cart. Fully stocked kitchen and great use of space - the kids loved the "seven dwarfs" room upstairs :) Lots of things for the beach (canopy, wagon, beach toys) and if you have a little one (booster chair, pack n play). I was worried there was no bath for the kiddos, but the downstairs shower has a handheld wand that was easy to use and fun for the kids too. We loved our time here and look forward to visiting again!

We had an excellent stay at the blue roost over labor day weekend! It was a very short walk to the beach through a beautiful boardwalk. The house was spotless, tastefully decorated, and very well stocked. The blackout curtains really helped the baby sleep in the new environment and the beach chairs were in great condition and added to our stay. The neighborhood was quiet but close to everything in Port A. This is a perfect set up for a family trip! Lauren even accommodated us with a late checkout which gave us the extra time to round everyone up before we got on the road. Highly recommend!

Two large-sized bedrooms downstairs, and one large loft-style room upstairs with multiple beds and a desk and monitor in case you need to catchup on work. The upstairs entryway and bathroom might be a bit low for grownups, but kids won’t have any problems.

Beautiful property and suited our family of 6 perfectly. Nice island in kitchen with stylish stools. Nice sitting area for family to watch movies. Love the second story with a line of beds for the kiddos. We rented a golf-cart (parking for three vehicles) and could drive to the beach in one minute. Great supply of beach stuff (chairs etc). I drive an EV and charger worked well. Overall I wanted to stay longer and will definetely be back.

This rental was PERFECT & that's an understatement. It's perfect for children and perfect for my 70 yr old dad who has knee issues, he thought the stairs were easy enough for him and was very pleased with the layout of the home. My mom and I enjoyed sneaking out to walk to the beach in the early mornings & the outdoor shower was perfect to rinse off (and wash your pup 😊). We were also amazed on how much we provided in the kitchen, even a crockpot!! Thank you so much for everything, Lauren! You're a wonderful host!

We loved our time here so much! The property is beautifully decorated, the space was set in an open, easy, comfy way, the upstairs loft w the beds, tv & full bath was a huge hit for the kiddos, making it to where we (3 adults and 4 kiddos) easily had plenty of space. The owners also had a ton of beach toys, chairs, even a wagon to use for us. We did bring extra toys and beach towels - glad we did! And extra blankets (I always get cold though) It was a short walk to the beach which we did often but also highly recommend renting a golf cart! We parked our cars and didn’t get back into them until the day we left. The host is super responsive and friendly too. We were able to have fun and truly relax! We will be back!

This place is amazing and is in the best location possible! We traveled with ten people total and a few dogs. Lauren was very accommodating and communicative. Lauren was quick to respond to questions before our trip and several weeks leading up to our trip. This property could not be in a better location either. It’s a short walk to the boardwalk and then another short walk to the beach. It’s also a short golf cart ride to everything Port A has to offer. The house was very clean and cozy and had everything we needed to have a great time at the beach and during our stay at the property. The rooftop access and definitely a plus and the beds were veryyyyy comfortable. We plan on returning and staying at this place again! Thanks Lauren for making this such a simply and enjoyable process. I’d give more than 5 stars, but it won’t allow that!
