Had a wonderful visit to Steamboat with my family. We enjoyed being close to the slopes and didn’t have to utilize a car to get around. Condo had plenty of space for my husband and I plus our two girls. Mike the owner was extremely attentive and would respond right away. He even called before check in to go over any questions we may have had. Only downside was the parking and access to the unit. It was blocked off at times and we had to find lot parking near by. It was extremely crowded when we arrived and had to wait for a spot to open up. Also the access to the condo was tricky since the parking garage is no longer there. Had to park In a no access zone and take the luggage down the stairs and up a shorter flight to the elevator. Would have loved to be able to pull right up front with the car especially since we had so much stuff. Overall the stay was fantastic and the condo was well equipped !

The condo and location were perfect for our stay. Super quick walk to the slopes and Gondola Square. Easy free bus over to more downtown shops and restaurants. The condo was great - fully stocked with everything we needed. The kids loved the bunk room with the fun loft bed. Mike is a fantastic host - very quick communications and answered all of my questions. Parking was the only challenge as the building currently does not have its own parking - I knew this well in advance, and Mike provided great guidance for loading/unloading, and parking during our stay. Steamboat is a great place for a winter vacation, and I hope to return to this specific condo in the future!

We had a wonderful stay at this condo. The kids loved the bunk and beds and loft for sleeping, making forts, and playing games. The rest of the condo provided everything we needed and wanted for a ski holiday, including a wonderful view of the mountain! The host was proactive and very helpful. We can't wait to stay here again!

Mike was absolutely incredible to work with and made everything streamline and easy. Very short walk to the gondola and absolute incredible views. The hot tub and sauna are a very nice touch. I would absolutely stay here again.

We had the most amazing time at the condo! The accommodations were perfect! The kitchen was well stocked and we had everything we needed. Will definitely be back!

The condo was clean, well-stocked and had comfortable beds. The unloading area requires a walk down metal stairs, through a locked door, then up a half flight of steps and into a small elevator. It took 4 of us 2 trips each with ski equipment and groceries. The walk to ‘ski-on’ is about 15 minutes in ski boots. You will walk down a path out of the condo, then through the parking lot on left side of Slopeside Grill. If you have a car, the parking situation is tricky. You can park for free a few miles away, and take a free town shuttle. We chose to park overnight in the Gondola Square Parking Garage for $25 per day. It is about a 15 minute walk from the condo and conveniently located near restaurants and shops. Overall, the condo was a good place for our family of 4.

This condo was perfect in every way. Mike has thought of everything to lead to the most comfortable stay possible for his guests. The check-in process was clear and easy. The condo was warm and cozy. We cooked most of our meals at home and the kitchen had everything we needed including a crockpot. We loved the cozy fire and the humidifiers to combat the dry air.
The location also couldn’t be beat. It’s a short walk (across the street) to the slopes or to the bus stop. The bus easily took us into downtown, to Safeway or wherever we needed to go, for free! (Always check with the bus driver when you are getting on to make sure the bus is going where you want to go!)
If Mike will have us, we will absolutely be back to stay in this condo. 🙂

We had a great stay at Mike's slope side condo! Mike was in contact with us prior and during our trip. He answered all questions promptly and checked in with us to make sure everything was going well.
The kitchen was well supplied and the crock pot was key for our lunches and après ski dinners. The fireplace was so cozy and the hot tub was always available for our use.
The beds were comfy and the space was great for the five of us!
We were very happy with our accommodations and highly recommend Mike's condo for a great ski vacation!

We're definitely not casual skiers. Long time ski buddies who make trips out west to explore mountains, eat good food, have a few drinks, and head to bed to wake up and do it again the next day. First time in Steamboat and couldn't have found a better property for the price. Walking distance from the gondola (the mornings' down hill walk better than the PM post-skiing workout, but nonetheless), walking distance from city bus stop (get to know the timings), and plenty to do right in Ski Time Square for apres. The condo itself is maintained beautifully with a great layout, tons of room, comfortable beds, gorgeous view, and lots of amenities. The owner is incredibly responsive; even when we had issues checking in at 10pm, he figured out a solution and stayed in touch to make sure all was ok. While the condo complex itself may be aging a bit, the unit is stellar and an incredible value.

this place is great the location is close to everything you want to do in steamboat.Fireplace ,hot tubs,shuttle service and short walk to slopes .If available you should pick this place for a great time in steamboat. Mike is quick to respond and very helpful.Top shelf.

The location and price of this condo are fantastic. The loft bed is a great place for kids to sleep. The condo is a bit dated, but clean and comfortable. We were able to watch the New Years Eve celebration fireworks from our balcony. There was incorrect information on the checkin email, but Mike was very communicative through text. The drop off point for shuttles is a little walk, but not terrible.
If you are looking for a great view of the slopes or ability to walk across the street to the slopes, this is your place!

My family had such a great time staying at this place - incredibly convenient for skiing, restaurants near the Gondola and all. Mike was incredibly helpful, responsive and flexible. We travel quite a bit as a family and would rate Mike and this condo at the top for overall experience.

While the property is older, it’s large with plenty of room for two families. Everything you need to cook and enjoy the condo with family and friends. The owner is great at communicating and responds quickly. We enjoyed the fireplace and hot tubs as well. With a lot of snow, the hike up and down the hill that is the access to the condo is a bit difficult. It is only a short walk to the ski area but you do have to walk.

Doable Condo But Not a Favorite
This condo was doable but not our favorite. The pictures make it look a bit better than it is. Some things were upgradedg but overall, it’s dated especially the carpet and the building itself. We never received complete or accurate check in instructions so we initially struggled with finding the right building. The code we received was also old so that took some additional communications. Loading/unloading was a pain. There is a detached underground parking garage away from the building so you need to park and then lug all equipment/luggage to the condo either going up five flights of stairs or a very very very slow/small elevator. Steamboat was hot when we visited and even with the well-supplied floors fans the condo was a hot box as well. I think this would be a better condo in the winter.

Great Location, Lots of Room
We had a wonderful stay..this property is in a great location- across the street from lifts, shops and restaurants. It was so nice to be able to eat lunch at home, then hit the slopes again! There were 5 of us and we had plenty of room. The condo is fully stocked-lots of soft towels and very comfy sheets and pillows. Mike is very responsive to any questions. The view from the balcony is beautiful ! We hope to be back!!

2nd time, Great again
The location is the top feature; a short walk right across the street from the lifts. It includes a storage locker on the first floor to keep all of your equipment. The space in this unit is exceptionally good with three bedrooms spanning two floors, with the extra loft bed in one bedroom. The furnishings aren't fancy and things could use a little sprucing up, but there's plenty of other great things that make up for that. Cool fifth floor view of the mountain from the patio. The hot tubs are great after a day of skiing. The kitchen is decently supplied for cooking. The underground covered parking is very nice to have. We've been here twice now and if we come back we'll stay here again.

Pretty close to the slopes
Came here so we could all ski that was close enough to the slopes, but also have enough space/accommodations for our large family. Not the easiest time of year to find decent, affordable accommodations that are close to the slopes. This place worked well for our family with 5 small kids. Plenty of sleeping space. We kept ski stuff overnight at base and used the wagons at the base to carry cranky children back and forth. Mike was easily reached and helpful to answer any questions and help us.

Convenient, Comfortable, excellent host
The condo was well appointed with everything we could possibly have required to sleep, dine-in, bathe and “hang out.”
Mike, the host, was responsive and very supportive when we found that we were missing a parking pass for our second vehicle. The parking was our only hassle.
We visited in the summer and the location is great for skiers and folks interested in spending time in the ski village, it is fairly convenient to downtown Steamboat Springs by car. Our children enjoyed the brook that passes the condo grounds and the “beach” in the ski village.
The beds were numerous, very comfortable and there was plenty of variation in bedding available for picky hot/cold sleepers.

Great stay
The condo was clean with lots of supplies and amenities and worked perfect for our needs. The property manager supplied clear instructions and was available and helpful. It was a bit of a hike to get all of our stuff into the condo but what you lose in convenience you gain in location. Steamboat is beautiful in the summer!

Great place - close to everything
Mike the owner is great to work with - very responsive and caring. The place is located right at the base of the slopes and outstanding view. Very cozy, especially with the fireplace and the view outside. Very clean and organized with all the items you need. This is not a negative, but more advice than anything -you need to read very carefully his very clear instructions on how to load out and in and gain access to the condo. It's nothing to do with this place or this owner - others at the same time where having the same issues with getting into their places. Parking is great - again, read the instructions! The stay was great!! You want be disappointed.

This is a great place to rent and Ski. Property owner is responsive. At night it’s a little tricky to get in, but the directions are spot on.

Great home base for skiing
Everything worked out great staying here. There's lots of room and it's close to the lifts. The hot tubs were very nice after a day on the slopes. The kitchen was well equipped to make breakfast every morning. We had a little miscommunication on the check-in process but besides that we loved it. I would certainly stay here again.

Great Location, True 3 bedroom with loft, great value for the price
The location was great about a 100 yard walk to the ski hill which was pretty easy to get to from the place. Also an easy walk back to the base of the ski hill for Apres Ski after a day of skiing. There are lockers to put your ski's in downstairs so you don't have to carry them up to the condo each day. We had 4 of us for a guy trip which was perfect. We each had our own Bed and there was two full bathrooms one downstairs and one upstairs. Condo had a couple of TV's all with satellite and Netflix which was great to wind down with a movie at night. Overall we were very happy with the place and the location to the ski hill.

Awesome place with great owner
We have stayed in multiple VRBOs on various seasons and locations and Mike’s was exactly as described and even kinda better. Great amenities and super comfy and clean. Mike was very responsive and helpful. While the location wasn’t quite as close as I thought, for us snowboarders it was great—skiers with boots maybe a bit further than ideal. I’d have no issue staying at same location but have to review for all including skiers. The downstairs lockers are a nice perk. Honestly if I were to come back to SS I would try to stay at Mike’s. Great value for the $$.
