Had some friends over,. They were all impressed with the house and garden.

The house was just as described. We especially loved the fruit trees in the backyard. We picked oranges, lemons and grapefruit daily. I made lemon sorbet for the first time and it was delicious, probably due to the freshness of the lemons. The hot tub heated quickly and was great after a long day. Chad was a great host, everything was well appointed and well labeled with easy instructions. We will definitely return when we come back to the LA area. Thank you Chad for opening your home to us.

It was a whirlwind trip for us: coming from WA and NY states on a Thursday afternoon...we met at the airport; attended a college graduation in LA on Friday; and flew to our respective homes on Saturday. There were 4 of us...needing 3 rooms. From Olivera St to Irvine to see family -- strolls on the neighboring beaches to celebrations in the city -- our short time was on-the-go! But some of our most perfect memories will be at this wonderful home. The downtime between the rush was as important as our big-events: and this retreat-stay didn't disappoint. The peacefulness of the sanctuary grounds was a breath of fresh air: the citrus trees; the flowers; the charm that we were in a distant country! Beds were perfect. Bathrooms were clean. The Kitchen well-equipped. And the warm of the farmhouse vibe nestled us all!!! Thank you so, so much for allowing us to enjoy this escape -- when outside our door the world-whirled and beckoned in a whole another way! We'll be BACK!!!! Glad to have found a 'go-to' landing spot for this wonderful corner of the country!!!

Everything was clean and organized. I was able to find everything as needed and communication with the owner was clear and quick.

It was great… loved the house and the backyard was amazing. Felt safe in the neighborhood, but the backyard offered enough privacy that it didn’t feel like the neighbors were so close. Great communication with the owners or management company if we needed something or needed to let them know what was going on.

This was a perfect relaxing getaway. Such a peaceful charming property. Owner was easy to work with and went above and beyond to make the stay amazing. Highly recommend this place.

This property was exactly what we needed for our LA visit! Coming from the midwest, having abundant fresh fruit in the backyard was a real treat and conveniently located in a safe and clean neighborhood was a plus. We have family in the LA area, so using the property as a meeting point to host different family members was perfect. Plenty of space to have our private areas, but then to have enough seating for everyone to spread out. Highly recommend staying here for your next LA trip!

I truly enjoyed this home so much! From the moment I walked in the door I felt at home. The large dining table was perfect for family meals and the kitchen had everything anyone would need to create fantastic meals. The bedrooms had very cozy linens and the beds were so comfortable. I loved the beautiful tile work in the bathrooms and the lovely artwork throughout the home. The backyard is a true gem! We spent every evening outside enjoying the scenery and watching the kids playing in the pool. Everything in the home was beautiful and clean. It didn’t feel like a vacation rental at all. In fact it felt more like staying at a dear friend’s home. The host was great at communicating with us when I had a question. Chad was pleasant and I felt like he truly cares about his guests and this amazing home. 10/10 I would stay here again. Thanks for everything Chad!

Looks exactly like the picture. Very Spacious. Beautiful Backyard. Pool/Jacuzzi was easy to control. Older home so creeks. Bring own vanity mirror lighting as the home is overall dim. Host was very welcoming.

My French family and I were visiting California and was looking for a charming home with a nice pool to enjoy the Los Angeles weather. We definitely found that here! Everything was well organized and detailed for us to settle in comfortably and easily. We enjoyed the pool and slept well with the great beds! Not far from universal studios and other great places! Would definitely book again. :)

The host, Chad was so accommodating with our checkin and thought our stay. The house is absolutely stunning, everything was well maintained and plenty of labels and instructions to figure out all the details of the house. Everything was so easy breezy, we didn’t want to leave! Thank you for having us and if we’re in town again, I will surely be coming back to stay at this home. :D

The property was perfect for our Labor Day family get-together. Great location, comfortable home, excellent instructions for all equipment and facilities and fabulous pool, spa and backyard.

A great property for a family. We stayed in La for four nights and this home was ideal for relaxing a seeing all the sites. The house is equipped with everything you could posdibly need and the owner was a pleasure to deal with. Couldnt have picked a better home for our stay.

House is located in quiet neighborhood with plenty of restaurants and market places. Was able to Uber to universal studios cheaper than the parking. house is complete with pots and pans for cooking . Plenty of space for family to relax and have a great time. My family and I will definitely be back to Chad‘s house for our next family vacation in California. Thank you Chad for your hospitality.

We were looking for a place to celebrate our son's 30th birthday with some of his local friends. He was to come from NYC, we were to drive from the Bay Area, and our daughter lives in LA. Chad's place was perfect. It's ideally located in North Hollywood, making it easy to get to from the Bay Area (avoids LA traffic). The backyard with the pool and hot tub was perfect, with plenty of trees that provide a sense of seclusion and welcome shade. And the interior is tastefully decorated, with beautiful wooded accents that make it inviting and cosy. There is a wide driveway, and plenty of street parking, and easy access to shopping and transportation. Chad was super helpful, and always responded quickly to our questions.

Great location, minutes from BUR airport and tons of great food options. We ate our anniversary dinner in Santa Monica at Water Grille, hiked along the coastline in Malibu one day and enjoyed the private pool and hot tub at the house daily. This would be a great place for a family vacay too!

Chad was an awesome host that made the process simple start to finish. The property worked great to host a holiday Luncheon with my team. We decided to try something different vs the typical restaurant and glad we did. My team and I had a great time. The backyard was stunning.

There’s a little something magical about this property. It’s unique and not cookie cutter white. It has personality and charm. As busy professionals, it was the perfect place to get away from work and relax with our children. Everything we needed was there. The pool and hot tub were amazing. We used them every day, rain or shine. We made fresh lemonade from the orchard and had fresh oranges every day. It’s was a great location and easy to access amenities and quick to universal studios. Chad was easy to get a hold of if needed and quick to answer. We felt at home and relaxed. Highly recommended!

Those were the sweetest grapefruits I have ever had. The oranges were nice too. Jacuzzi a big plus for relaxing after driving in LA traffic. Chad provided a safe, comfy, drama free stay. His neighbor is part of the local neighborhood watch and she's always home. We're not partiers, so that's exactly the kind of neighbors we wanted. Chad had good communication without hovering or intruding. If I could consistently and politely communicate like he does without my morning coffee I'd start my own VRBO.

Chad was excellent in terms of communication and detailed instructions about the property. The property itself was the perfect getaway for our family of two kids and two senior dogs, situated in a quiet neighborhood and near lots of things to do. We would love to be back in the warmer months to utilize the pool more.

This charming home has so much more to offer than any other home we stayed at during our travels. Close proximity to Universal Studios was a plus Great communication with Chad
