It was a better experience, the only comment we’ve that there is no microwave even at the kiosk to warm up our left over food . Overall , we love our stay there.

Rooms were very clean and the staff very friendly. Is a small hotel but it had everything we needed for our stay. I do have one major recommendation, get a room on the 4th floor so, no one is above you. Our room was on the third floor and the people above us had a kid stomping and running around the room until almost midnight. I called the front desk and they sent a security but that didn’t stop the noise. The next day we had the exact same issue but this time the noise actually stopped.

A new modern hotel, very clean, spare and sleek. Not luxurious but comfortable and affordable. Everything worked. Nice shower. Staff friendly and responsive. Small refrigerator in the room was a nice touch. A small cafe in the lobby serves premade breakfast items that were fine. A limited gym with dumbbells, treadmills, and one stationary bike. There are fitness centers nearby. The location in the Valley is good, not far from tourist sites, not far from Burbank Airport, and just off the freeway for easy access. There is a Whole Foods two blocks away, easy to walk to. A few local restaurants in the neighborhood which I did not try. A good value.

No hot water, had to remind front desk to turn boiler on. If the front desk had to leave to go turn the boiler on the desk was left unattended. Apparently this was an issue for weeks with not repair. The hotel should have staffed the front desk better since they had been aware of this situation for weeks.

The mariposa hotel was a different experience. I can not say it was a "great" one though. We were not aware that the hotel had an underground parking structure. We were a little uncomfortable with the motion sensor lights because they are set up on a short timer and went off after two minutes. When we checked in the front desk associate was very polite and knowledgeable. He asked us what brought us to them and gave us a little advice for travel to Universal Studios. He made sure that he was knowledgeable and that all of our questions were answered. Prior to arrival we were not informed that we were going to be charged for our parking after a day. $25 We unpacked the car and headed to our room on the 4th floor. The keys did not work. My girlfriend went down to the lobby and requested a pair of additional keys. These keys also did not work. We had just gotten back from a festival and we were flat out exhausted so this time we called the hotel lobby and the desk agent came up and tested the lock. Still polite service just irritation. The room was spacious but the bathroom was not clean. The biggest issue is the amenity dispenser in the shower was not clean and there was product above and around it. There was build up of a blue product on the nozzle and the lid. We could not use it.

Staff was really friendly ! Check in super easy as well as check out ! Would come back again and stay here when I come back down to Los Angeles !

The hotel is very clean and the staff is very nice. If there were some restaurants in the area, it would be so much better.

We usually love staying at this property but the building next to it is vacant and in horrible conditions and that was our view. We also didn’t have any hot water for the shower. Our first night had loud guests fighting which is not the property’s fault. Just not sure if we will stay there again however it’s close to everywhere that we need to go.

Check-in/check-out went quickly and easily. Friendly staff. Notably, we appreciate the security staff’s assistance in locating a spot while looking for parking late at night. The room looked spotless and chic as advertised. We love the art of butterflies everywhere within the hotel.

Hot water did not work, limited convenience store/market, limited food onsite, shower dispenser did not work, extremely noisy guests Ana I had to call desk 3 times.

Lovely, clean hotel with very friendly staff. Very nice sitting area outside to enjoy beautiful days. Whike foods across the street was convenient to pick up a nutritious and reasonably priced breakfast and snacks. My only concern was that on my final morning, there was no hot water for a shower. When I called the front desk to inquire about this, I was told that they were having trouble with their boilers all month and were waiting for parts. I would have wanted to know this prior to checkin. The front desk did try to find me a room with jot water, but I had to resort to a freezing shower in order to make my flight on time.
