Boutique style hotel. Would stay again. Secure parking. Clean. Rooftop sitting area. Beds clean and comfortable. Tidy bathroom. Quiet sleep. No breakfast provided. Need a car from this locale to get to main tourist attractions of L A.

This is a hotel for young people. I stayed with my family and the room was very small, there are no services (breakfast or room service) . They have a patio and speakers in the parking lot, but this is a 3 star hotel at the most. The location was not very safe, nothing remarkable around. Decent distance from the studios (Universal and Warner). I will do the extra and stay in a better hotel if I had to do it again.

I booked a room with 2 queen beds and the beds were not queen beds, they have to have been for sure a full size bed. So not sure why it says queen when that bed is not a queen size. I have queen beds at home so i know what size they are.

Very nice, easy parking for only $10 a day. Clean, ac was amazing. Nice bathroom/shower. Bed was actually comfortable (not hotels are actually comfy but this one was). Easy 10-15 minute Uber to Universal. Would definitely stay here again and recommend!

It's a fantastic place and highly recommended for a family trip. The staff is friendly and available 24/7. Everything is super clean, and the amenities are great!

I was no happy I had to park on the street and move my car before 8am so I wouldn’t get a ticket and not know where to park if there was still no room in there parking

We stayed here after attending Halloween Horror Nights at Universal. The room was spacious, clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable, and the staff was accommodating. Check in and check out process was quick and simple. I would definitely stay here again.

Average hotel and does not worth 350 CAD per night. The elevator did not work for 2 of the 5 days stay.

Room was nice and very clean. Shower didn’t get hot enough and lacked water pressure. Staff member was asleep when I showed up to check in at approximately 7pm. Parking spaces are small and there aren’t enough of them. The building itself is nice but the area around is just homeless camps.

Nice hotel. Has some construction out in the parking lot so limited parking. They were nice enough to take the key and let us block cars. The heat wave was intense so anywhere in the hotel except your Pom felt like an oven. Wish the bar wouldn’t been open.

Nice hotel close to Universal Park. Nice staff, clean rooms. Parking is limited and tight. Good hotel to rest after a day in the theme parks.

The hotel was incredibly clean and exceeded my expectations, I was so impressed with my room. It was so spacious, had a modern look, had a spare bed in a separate sleeping area, living room area, etc. The entire room was beautiful.

We stayed here overnight because we were going to go to Universal Studios in the morning. The hotel room was very clean and nice and the bed was comfortable. The parking I felt was safe or the area since it was underground right in the building.

The room is very nice, clean and spacious. The restroom is very spacious and the shower as well. I would definitely stay here again. There is free juice and coffee downstairs. I was a little upset the lady at the front didn’t say anything about it after I inquired about breakfast at the hotel. It wasn’t until the next day in the evening that the gentleman in the front mentioned it to us.

Nice hotel with great rooms - very clean. Bar area was not was not open for the duration of our our stay and also breakfast was not available on any day. No discount offered for this lack of advertised amenities.

Very clean and modern property. Rooms were good sized and neat. No dining or bar options which is a big downside especially when you are with your children. WiFi signals were very weak in the room.

Rooms are very modern and comfortable. The hotel is about a 10 minute drive to universal which is npt bad at all. Overall it was a great experience definitely recommend it!

The Lexen was a nice, clean basic hotel close to Universal Studios. The staff was very helpful and welcoming from the front desk people to the cleaning crew. The gym was nice and there was juice and a cappuccino machine in the dining area. Parking was limited but we had no problem finding a space the first night and parking right next to the hotel the second night. The street parking is metered beginning at 8am, so overnight was no issue.

I only stayed the night with my family and the property was nice and clean on the inside. The tenants upstairs were noisy till very late. They kept me and my family up.

Friendly staff large spacious room and bathroom.
The immediate area is somewhat questionable, not sure I’d take a stroll at night. ( see google maps). Unfortunately during our stay a building was being demolished at 7am…of course no fault of the hotel. But still an unpleasant wake up call.
Hotel with 10 mins of universal studios and Warner bros…Uber/lyft is cheaper than parking at those attractions.

Great hotel at a decent price in North Hollywood. The area is a bit rundown as is much of Los Angeles. But we (older couple) felt very comfortable walking around the area. Lots of apartments around. Our room was quiet. Short walk to restaurants and small live performance venues. Only downside is lack of any dining in the hotel. But they do have snacks for sale in the lobby and free coffee and juice machines available 24/7. Desk staff were friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again!
