It is a lovely beautifully renovated craftsman house. The location is on a wonderful quiet street and an easy walk to all the shops and restaurants in town. It was wonderful for our group of 9 family members to gather. The large kitchen is well stocked and great for preparing family meals together. The dining room sat all 9 of us for meals and family games together. The outdoor deck is pleasant with a propane grill, table w six chairs and hot tub. The house was very clean and comfortable. We appreciated the 3 off street parking spots on the driveway, including one in the garage. We would stay there again!

Great spot. The master bedroom is a huge suite. Lots of room for the whole family. Very clean, and check-in was straightforward. It was very convenient for exploring downtown. We would definitely stay here again.

House is getting a little worn although comfortable. Easy walk for dinner to town but difficult to town bus with gear. Free shuttle was a nice surprise. The management company made our stay challenging. Arguing to get the snow removed 3 different times seems unnecessary given the cost of this rental. They are not prepared and it seems we are not the only renters that have had this issue. Hopefully they get a handle on this.

Pros Location!! House is a short walk to downtown, with access to shops, restaurants, grocery, etc. It was great to leave the car behind. House is very spacious, spread out over three levels. It allowed for a hang out space for teens (basement level) and separate area for adults. Plenty of bedroom/bathrooms to fit our needs. Kitchen was fully stocked. We cooked a lot of our own meals and the kitchen had all we needed. Cons The furniture needs some updating. Couches and chairs have been well loved; no cushion left on them. Outside chairs are beginning to tear. Thus, all spaces throughout the house need new pieces. The master bedroom needs a King size bed for the tall(er) guests. The bedroom is very spacious and can easily accommodate it. The non-stick cookware is really worn out, and even flaking off the Teflon coating. Overall, it was a great stay. Adults and teens alike really enjoyed our stay. We would definitely stay again, especially if the above listed items have been addressed.

Great house a few blocks from Main street. Plenty of room for our group of 9 gravel bike riders. Big kitchen that is well stocked with cookware and utensils. Nice deck with bbq for hanging out in the afternoon.

The house, property, and neighborhood are amazing. The location couldn't be beat - our family could come and go without organizing cars and rides - as downtown was a 5 minute walk. Retreatria - the property management was very responsive. The house was extremely clean and exactly as pictured on VRBO. I would definitely recommend this house to others!

The size of the home was perfect for our group and great location. Check in/out is off site but very easy. Other than dog hair throughout the home every thing else was clean and well cared for. The beds were not the most comfortable but there was past reviews about those so we knew it going in.

Walking distance to downtown Steamboat. (10 min to Howelsen Hill). We usually stay closer to the base of the ski resort, but we really enjoyed being so close to all the activity in town. The curb appeal was great, the yard was so nice to enjoy too. The private jacuzzi is a nice touch while we bbq'd. We ran out of propane, and the managing company brought a full tank over asap.I think the only complaint we had was the mattresses in all the rooms. They were rock hard, squeaky and we could feel the springs... all the adults woke up each morning feeling worse (physically) than the day before. The owners MIGHT~ wanna invest in some new mattresses if they're charging more than $500/day. We definitely expected a nicer sleep on a decent mattress and pillows for $850/night. Which is what we paid for a summer rate. Overall, it was a nice and pleasant stay though. You can tell the home is very old bc of the shower pipings/fixtures and little things here and there, but they've updated quite a bit of the house too, so it wasn't completing uncomfortable and had its charm. And you can't go wrong with being in Steamboat either.

Great house, wonderful stocked kitchen, hot tub was amazing, easy access to town and shuttle to mountain. Negative we had to shovel the drive way multiple times on our own even after requesting the driveway to be plowed and assured that it would be and it never was. Beds were not very comfortable.

The property is in a fantastic location, the size is awesome and the kitchen amenities are great. The mattresses are a little old and could use some updating and it would be nice to have more king bed options along with more pillows for each bed. The couch had some spots on it so a deep clean would be good for some of the upholstered areas including the bedspreads. The hot tub was great. Awesome to have parking for 3 cars. We had an issue with the garbage disposal and they sent someone out right away to address. Overall great stay, just a few minor items that could be addressed to make it a 5-star stay.

The property was perfect for our large group. It was convenient to the slopes.

We stayed with our group of 12 and two dogs for over the Christmas holiday 2018. The house was very clean. There was more than enough plates, utensils and cooking dishes for the chef we hired Christmas Eve to serve 22 people. The furnishings are showing some age and the pillows need to be replaced. The bedding was comfortable and clean. The hot tub always worked - which is important to us. We have rented places where the hot tub had to be serviced during our stay and that is annoying. The house is not as close as we thought to downtown. It is a good 4-5 block walk. On a couple occasions a few from our group would walk home from bars or restaurants after the shuttle stopped, but for the most part we took the shuttle everywhere. We did enjoy the downtown location to walk our dogs around the neighborhood. The shuttle was essential for our group. We had people coming and going to and from the slopes all throughout the day at different times. It was worth the $99 a day for us to have the door to door transport. We rarely had to wait longer than 10 minutes and the drivers were courteous. We rented this house because we wanted to bring our dogs for Christmas and we had a large group. We usually rent pricier luxury accommodations so I may be a little critical. Overall for the price we paid, we were satisfied with the home. I would definitely recommend for people with pets.

The house was very nice and had a perfect location. We loved everything about it except the beds were pretty uncomfortable. It might be time for the owner to get some new mattresses.

The house was clean, very spacious, and a short walk into town. The fully stocked kitchen allowed us to cook in some nights, and the hot tub was clean and really hot - perfect after a day on the slopes. This was the perfect getaway for our group to do some Steamboat Spring skiing. Thank you!

We took advantage of everything the house has to offer and loved it! The multiple levels/bedrooms accommodated everyone well because we had young kids and older parents in our group. Hope to stay there again someday, as Steamboat is a place we definitely want to come back to! We visited the hot springs, botanic gardens (did the morning yoga class there) and several shops & restaurants downtown. The boys took advantage of some fishing opportunities in the Yampa River. We loved the chance to use the kitchen and grill to cook together, and relax in the hot tub at night!

Great location a few blocks from downtown Steamboat as well as walking distance to connections to the Spring Creek trail. Our family of grandparents, adult children and small grandchildren were well-accommodated both indoors and out. The house and yard are well-kept and spacious. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking our meals. We would definitely recommend this home to other extended families.

Lovely house w/ great set up for family. Well-stocked kitchen. HOWEVER description doesn't include the fact that there is someone living over the garage. This is very disoncerting and I wish I had known this before having my kids and grandkids there. Additionally, TVs are very dfficult to navigate and there is no fire extinguisher that we could find. The tenant on the property was not intrusive but imagine having the family in the hot tub or the kids playing in the yard with him right on the deck above the garage. Retreatia sends LOTS of robo-emails about "hi how are you" but when I replied about this on the very first day of my stay...nothing. The grounds are gorgeous and the neighborhood perfect. I am a Steamboat local and of course loved the location. Again, I think it only fair that when you look for a space for that once-a-year family gathering, and you drive up to the garage and see deck chairs above you.... should be in the property description. I'll likely never rent through Retreatia again. Airbnb does a better job with communication directly to the owner.

House met all our expectations. It was great , lots of room for our extended family of 13. No feeling crowded with multiple sitting areas and spacious bathrooms. Enjoyed the hot tub. Nice yard, pet friendly. It is just a few blocks to mainstream of town and shops, restaurants, etc. Would definitely recommend. We were there in summer.

Lovely and well maintained property that is nicely updated, comfortable, and super for entertaining a family and friends summer vacation (ages 1-60+). The location is ideal for walking to downtown and enjoying the ambience of Steamboat as well as accessing the Yampa River. We had a wonderful week with our children at this well appointed home. The location downtown was perfect: quiet yet so convenient.

The house was a perfect place to celebrate my 60th birthday and ski with my family. 17 inches of new snow over 4 days. Very spacious house with room to spread out. Walking distance to downtown and 5 minute drive to the slopes. Great amenities and well equipped. No issues whatsoever. Highly recommend the Seventh Heaven Chalet and we will be back.

We stayed a week here in July. This house is right downtown. Great for walking to anything: the rodeo, the art festival, the river to tube, restaurants. Also great location for all the Emerald trails if you are a mountain biker. The trails start right behind the rodeo grounds and are wonderful. Lots of room (we had 8 adults, 5 kids) when pull out couches are used. Kitchen is up to date and very nice. Rest of house is in great shape too. Outdoor hottub on the deck was a real hit at night too. Price was good too. Overall an excellent experience.
