Everything was wonderful. Loved the area and the house was amazing! Our kids hopped right in the lake and swam every single day. It was so nice having so many bathrooms and convenient multiple zones on the HVAC. The best thing for the kids was the room with the trundle beds so they could all sleep together and watch movies. Will definitely try and get everyone back soon!

Everything about this week-long stay was ideal. The literature and the photos caught our attention and prompted us early last winter to reserve the house for our summer gathering. We are three generations who travel together each year - with specific requirements for our 'summer place' . This house offered everything; we especially enjoyed the porch overlooking the lake as it accommodated all in our large party to come together for meals, the gentle sloping walk made it easy and safe for our grandparents to reach the dock (where we spent the afternoon hours (kayaks, canoes, life jackets all are on site). The landscaping is beautiful and lush; the interior of the home is open and spacious. This includes a kitchen that easily accommodated numerous 'cooks' at one time. Billiards are a must for this group who enjoyed playing late into the night. Communication with the hosts - superb.

All attending had a wonderful time. Some miscommunication about boats available. Otherwise, no problems.

Pill found on floor in one bedroom that made us feel it wasn’t cleaned well. When we tried to clean with stick vac it was so clogged we had to take it apart to fix it. First glass I took out of cupboard was dirty so we has to wash all glasses. Hot tub was too dirty to use. Screens of doors were broken.

We enjoyed a women’s retreat at this beautiful house. It was better than we expected and we all agreed we would like to rent again next year.

Our extended family of 9 enjoyed a comfortable and relaxing Thanksgiving week. Everything about the property was top-notch. Our only wish was that it was warmer outside so we could have made full use of the water. We'll return in the summer for that!

We really liked the house. It was exactly what we needed for our corporate outing. Plenty of space to have our meetings as well as to enjoy time afterwards. Everything was very clean. We stayed in and cooked and everything we needed was already there. Great location and beautiful views. Overall it was a great place to stay. The only thing we had an issue with was trying to rent the on site pontoon boat for just a single day. We arrived on a Tuesday and left on a Thursday, so only wanted to try and use the boat on Wednesday but it was not allowed to just rent the boat for a single day. It would have made this trip complete if the flexibility was provided to rent the boat for just one day instead of only being provided the option to rent it for the 2 other half days we were there.

We thoroughly enjoyed the house, property, and boat. Overall, a fantastic stay!

My family had an amazing time. The property was just as advertised. The hosts answered all our questions quickly. I would not hesitate to go back again.

The location and the house were perfect for our family vacation. The open concept of the living area was good as we fixed dinner, worked puzzles, played games together while the bedrooms and bathrooms offered privacy. We are unable to offer any thing that could make an improvement. We have rented from these owners before and every need have always been addressed. We would rent from them again FOR SURE and we would rent this house again FOR SURE!!!

We loved the house. There were 14 of us and plenty of room for everyone. We loved the covered porch. It seemed to be our gathering place. The boat and water toys were a huge hit. We had our bikes and enjoyed rides as well as walks around the neighborhood. Kayaking in the cove was wonderful, so peaceful. Thank you so much for everything. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend it to others.

We had a wonderful family vacation- kids, grandkids and Pepe' and I had a great time! House has everything you need and then some! Beds are very comfy, lots of space for everyone, easy water access! Can't say enough good things about this place and the property manager, Carol, was awesome with communication! Anyone thinking about this place won't be disappointed! Totally a 5******

I stayed over 4th of July weekend in 2021 with a large group of friends and absolutely loved the property. The owners were responsive, understanding and helpful whenever I had questions. Direct access to the lake (which was pleasantly warm 😍) was extremely convenient, and the boat/kayaks/rafts/lifejackets were meticulously maintained and extremely fun. The beds were huge and comfortable, the kitchen was very updated and clean, and the house had plenty of fun games to enjoy! I would totally recommend this property!

This house was the perfect set up for our extended family. We comfortably fit eight adults and seven children. It was so nice to be able to sit outside and easily see our children playing in the sand, in the water or on the dock. The property manager Carol is very responsive and the house had everything we needed. We would definitely book this again! Thank you!

Perfect and easy. From check in to the property manager to the house to the boat. Whole process was great

First and foremost, I want to start by saying, Ms. Carol was a superb host. Whenever I reached out to her she responded in a timely manner and no questions were unanswered. I hosted a family get-together for three days and I needed a place that we all could fit comfortably. The house was snuggled away accompanied by a beautiful lake-side view. The house itself was exquisite with 6 commodious bedrooms and had washrooms in the majority of all the rooms. The master bedroom was enormous. The crib that was set adjacent to the master bedroom was ideal considering that I have 3-year-old twin daughters. The living and dining areas were plentiful. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could possibly think of. I can only say good things about this dwelling and if you’re looking for peace, quiet, luxury, numerous amenities, and want to have a good time, this is the place to be. I did do the boat rental, but due to circumstances beyond my control, I was unable to utilize the boat, but all else was exceptional.

Wonderful and spacious home right on the water. Our family enjoyed spending time on the boat and getting to see more of the lake. The house is nestled in a cove that is easily accessible with the boat. House was well stocked and well prepared for our stay. Having a bathroom for almost every room was a really nice aspect of the house and helped ensure comfort for all of us. Plenty of table space for games and sharing a meal together. Hot tub was relaxing and a wonderful amenity. David was super responsive and helpful throughout the entire stay. Everything was in good condition and the house was spaced out nicely, we loved that it’s all one floor centered around the living room and kitchen area. House was only about a 7 minute drive to any store or restaurant you may need or be looking for. Highly recommend, would stay there again!!!

We needed to rent a house for a week while our floors were getting refinished. After our first place we secured (not through vrbo) was a giant fail we were scrambling to find a new place. We were thrilled to find David and Carol’s house available. House was beautiful. Just like the pictures if not better. What a great view! Close to shopping and restaurants. Kitchen was well stocked. We enjoyed playing video games, going in the hot tub, playing ping pong and the list goes on. The house was spacious, beds were super comfy. We had an amazing time!

It was still a great stay. However, housekeeping needs to do a better job with ensuring linen is clean.

We were very pleased with the house. And when I contacted the owner I received a timely response. We were 5 couples and comfortably fit into house. Lovely views of the lake.

This property worked so well for us. My daughter got married at the nearby Botanical Gardens. My family stayed at the house for the wedding weekend. Beautiful home and well equipped with everything we needed. Great outdoor space to lounge and we cruised the lake on the boat. Really enjoyed the pool table and the hot tub. Lovely stay!

House and property were just what we had hoped for as my wife and I hosted our children and grandchildren. We had two families which flew in so being close to CTL Airport allowed them to start their vacation almost immediately after a long flight. The weather was gorgeous, with a touch of Fall the first part of the week and warmer temps toward the end. The children and adults alike loved the pontoon boat. There is already talk of coming back here next year.

This home was amazing! My husband and I along with our friends and family that came with us loved everything about this house. There was a problem with the garbage disposal when we first checked in, and the owner had it taken care of within an hour! We even had the pleasure to meet the owner. Thank you for allowing us to stay in this breathtaking lake house. We definitely plan to rent it again.
