We enjoyed our stay at this lake house. It's in a cove area so the boat traffic is minimal which made it a great place for kayaking. Their boat house was well equipped with everything for a fun lake stay (6 kayaks, life jackets, paddleboard, tubes). Nice beach area with firepit. The house was spacious with a lot of seating areas indoors and out which we loved and a well stocked kitchen. Would stay here again!

Hard to believe but it’s even better in person than the listing shows. The cove on the lake is nice and quiet- we did lots of paddle boarding and kayaking and it was super calm. We rented a boat and went tubing - the lake was not busy (we’d never been so weren’t sure what to expect). The house is super comfortable- perfectly clean, everything needed for cooking is here, furniture, beds, linens all comfortable and well maintained. Property manager was super responsive to all our questions. Highly recommend for a great getaway!!

Our vacations usually involve the coast and salt water. I believe we have all become “lake lovers” after our trip here. The house was outstanding and very comfortable. The mattresses were heavenly. Best rest ever. The dock, deck, and beach area were amazing. We left happy and waterlogged 😀

The property was just as pictured; perfect for our family of 4 plus our pup! The home is positioned on a quiet cove, but close to everything in town one might need. Adding a boat rented through Boat Rental USA made this the perfect vacation. We look forward to returning as soon as we can!

My husband and I had a wonderful staycation with our fur babies. The property is absolutely gorgeous on this quiet cove. Loved having the beach for the dogs. Great communication with property manager as well. We will definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed our short weekend stay! A couple of things (the outdoor rinse shower and the grill) were not working during our stay but otherwise everything was great.

We enjoyed our stay. The property was exceptionally clean, everything in order and plenty of water activities and shoreline activities for the kids. The setting is peaceful, great views of the lake from the home, private and the white sand beach with fit pit makes for some great evenings relaxing lakeside watching the sunset.

Peaceful! We needed a break from all the normal that is insane in our society at this time. This property was the perfect getaway. It was clean and well maintained.

This property was the perfect getaway for the entire family including the pets. The owners were great to work with and the kitchen/house was well equipped with everything. The location was great and we spent most of our days on the boat and nights by the gas or wood burning pit. Our area was experiencing water quality issues which you need to be aware of, but the rest of the lake was fine. Everything else was perfect!

Blinds were missing. Water was cold. You would think you wouldn’t have to take a cold shower with the pricing of this cottage. Plumber was sent in the middle of our stay. No paper cups or plates none trash bags were there but was stated in the welcoming.

We stayed while having renovations on our local home. It had everything we needed and was a relaxing staycation.

House and property were as advertised, if not a bit nicer. Kitchen was well equipped and having a grill and laundry facilities was useful. Boat dock was fantastic with the covered seating area and ceiling fan. We did not rent a boat but the covered dock with a lift for a boat was very nice too. The water "toys" (kayaks, etc.) were in great shape, and having an outdoor shower was great too. View out of the house to the water was lovely, and the cove was very serene. Convenient to groceries and other stores (e.g. Target, Walmart), as well as to the Charlotte airport and Charlotte itself.

When planning a trip it’s always a bit nerve wracking to choose a house. Will it be big enough? Will it look like the pictures? Will it have the amenities we need? Any question you may have about this property should be put to the side. We stayed here with our three teens and between the second bedroom and the living area sleeping we fit perfectly. The inside of the house is immaculate and new. But the real gem here is the outside. The private beach has the softest sand you can imagine. The pier allows for a lot of fun and various activities. The boathouse is full of kayaks, paddle boards, games and other fun things to do. And if you get the chance, rent a boat from the owner. That made the trip even better. Lastly I would like to mention the people. The Property Manager, Carol, was so responsive and kind. She answered every question we had and communicated beautifully. The owner, David, checked in and gave us great tips on the area. And the boat hands (in particular Nate) were the most polite and helpful guys imaginable. I have not one bad thing to say about this property and plan to find my way here again.

The location is amazing and the interior of the house is really nice. I think this was the best place we have stayed in, and we have travelled a lot.

The lake house was even better than the pictures. It was very clean, easy check in/out process and anything you needed was there. The boat house was filled with lots of water activities for all ages. The owners answered and questions we had right away. We would definitely go back!

My whole family enjoyed staying the week here. We had a blast on the boat and kayaks! Kitchen was well appointed and everything was extremely clean. We will be back!

My husband and I decided we wanted to have a change of scenery from our working from home environment. The lake cottage was a perfect place for this. Beautiful space, with everything you’d need for a short or longer term stay. We stayed a week and used the kitchen with all the amenities for cooking each day and night and not once were we in need of anything. The cookware was quality and they had everything from a salad spinner to a crock pot. We also used all of the spaces and found comfort and style in each little area. Though it’s a smaller house, each area offers a little something different which was great even in the colder, rainy weather. I can only imagine the experience if it were warmer weather to enjoy the gorgeous outdoor space. We loved how close it was to the local shopping area for groceries and grabbing other items needed but left at home. Even though it’s only a 10 minute drive to these conveniences, you still feel you are away from everything in the surroundings of the cottage. Just a couple of things to mention that may help others when looking to reserve the place: -though it listed a traditional coffee maker I could only find a Keurig, but lucky there were a few cups left over until we could get to the store to buy more-the internet went out one night for a couple of hours and we were given a different network to use that got us up and running again. This caused us a lot of panic since we were both working from the cottage throughout the entire week. Carol was quick to solve the issue. Also the wifi network originally given was not password protected. This made us a little leery considering we were using the network for our work. -We did bring our 1year old French bulldog and paid for the additional cost to have her plus added the protection insurance. We understand the importance of ones property and respect that bringing pets is another liability, but felt a little paranoid during the time we spent there based on the initial conversations upon reserving and the check in instructions about having a pet in the property. I would just expect with as much concern that was shared by the owners/property manager, they might reconsider allowing pets at all. As a responsible pet owner, paying additional costs for having a pet, I would have liked to feel more at ease while staying.Over all, gorgeous place to spend a week and would definitely consider going back when the weather is warmer!

Our stay in the cottage on the lake was perfect. The views were amazing! We didn't get to use the outside amenities but we would like to return and enjoy the kayaks and the Tritune and the pier. The house was very clean and the bedding was very comfortable. Everything you need to make this your home away from home is provided and more. Thank you David and Carol

We visited in the winter to just relax and enjoy ourselves. It was perfect and the fire table on the dock was a nice item to enjoy at night. I loved all of the windows and looking at the wildlife on the lake. Highly recommend!

My husband and I and our 2 adult daughters spent Thanksgiving here. The home is beautiful and very comfortable, and the lot is AMAZING! The view is unreal! We hiked, kayaked, paddle boarded and enjoyed the dock and the fire pit table well into the evening! One of our top family vacations because it was so relaxing!!!

My family (2 adults, 2 kids - age 9, 2 dogs) had a wonderful stay. The location is beautiful and very peaceful. This is our new favorite vacation spot and my kids have made me promise to come back during the summer. We will definitely visit again!

This property has one of the best views of Lake Wylie. The house was clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated. This was our third visit and the improvements to the exterior and dock were amazing. We sat on the dock at the fire table for almost every meal. Thank you so much to the owners! It just keeps getting better and better!

We loved the view of Lake Wylie and the house being situated in a cove was perfect for the younger grandchildren to use the kayaks and other equipment. The House was beautifully decorated and well equipped. Everything was pretty perfect, thank you for sharing your home.

This beautiful little property on Lake Wylie looks unassuming from the outside, but has a beautiful interior, well manicured property, great boathouse and amazing tri-toon boat with some get-up-and-go! Had a great three days on the river! morning views from the deck, wrapped in a blanket drinking my coffee were priceless!

The property and home was just breath taking. Very clean. Would love to come and stay again. Beautiful area and friendly owners :)
