The views from the Overlook were awsome. The screen room was a wonderful place to relax with nice rocking chairs. The kitchen was fantastc, everthing you could need and plenty of room to prepare it. The beds were comfortable, a great sleeping experience. Their Pontoon was a lot of fun. But best of all was the host herself. Georgia was a wonderful, kind and congenial person who was very responsive and always pleasant. I would highly recommend staying at the Overlook. Campfires on the beach were a delight each evening. I'd give a 10 star rating if i could.

We adore this cabin, a quick getaway from Charleston SC, very relaxing, a staple vacation for our family! Looking forward to coming back!

This lake home was wonderful and comfortable! Had everything we needed, an absolutely beautiful view as well as nice neighbors and super friendly deer! Our family including our 2 dogs felt right at home from the start. Georgia was amazing to work with and extremely personable and accommodating- we also rented the pontoon and had a wonderful day on the lake riding and tubing! Highly recommend and would love to come back here again and again. If laidback, peace and quiet is what you are looking for you found it with this gem!!

Great property with awesome beach and lake access. House was very clean and warm, kids loved it and felt right at home. Only downside was the proximity to the airport, lots of planes flying overhead. Great place though overall for a family vacation!

Our stay was amazing.. we actually had family stay in each of the 3 houses that connect to the private beach front. we had a great time! Georgia was great with communication!

The views are amazing. Communication with manager was easy and she responded quickly. Will definitely visit again.

Wonderful short stay with a beautiful view!

The cottage was a nice home base to stay in during our visit. We really enjoyed the screened porch that overlooked the water. I traveled with an elderly relative and I was concerned the front walk was a bit challenging for him to navigate, however once inside, the walking areas were well lit and clear, Old condiments were left in the refrigerator and there were items in the freezer. We had room to store our items so it was a minimal inconvenience.

Comfortable older (1970s) house on Lake Wylie with a rural feel has everything we needed to spend a fall getaway with our two dogs from our big city up north. Easy to access, perfectly quiet (except for the sounds of geese and acorns dropping on the roof), and within a relatively short drive to services (grocery stores, etc.) to be convenient. This is the second time we've stayed in one of the Overlook properties - the other time at a house nearly next door - and when searching for a rental, I was pleased to be able to secure the property in the same area managed by the same people and will do so in the future.

This property is as advertised. Rustic cottage environment that is very comfortable for a getaway on Lake Wylie. Kitchen is well equipped and clean as advertised. Sunsets are fantastic!

We had a great time at the lake! The view is amazing. Sitting out on the pier watching boats sail by was wonderful. The kayak and grill were put to good use. The screened in porch allowed us to enjoy the view even during a downpour. We would definitely stay again!

We had a fantastic time. Quiet and beach was fantastic for us our dogs and kayaks. Had everything we needed for a getaway. If needed shopping and everything else is close but location is surprisingly situated quietly on the lake. beaches are close to one another but we did not have other rentals next to us at the time. We will be back

We had a memorable vacation on Lake Wylie! We really enjoyed the screened porch with the beautiful view...and the easy swimming access and beach made for a lot of fun with our kids and grandkids. The kayaks and canoe were greatly appreciated and having the dock for boating and fishing worked out well. Georgia went the extra mile to make sure everything went smoothly and is an excellent host!

This cottage is adorable! It was perfect for our family of 4, but it could definitely fit more. We spent days on the beach with our family and nights watching the beautiful sunset. The hosts Roger and Georgia were so accommodating. I highly recommend this property! We will definitely be back.

Great communication with the host, great lakeside weekend. Loved having a beach and dock as well as the screened in porch.

Place was quite nice and cozy for family of 4. Nice sand area by the lake for kids to play and adults to relax. Plenty of water “toys” to use for kids and adults. Boat rental is a nice addition by the owner with very good price. Property manager was always in contact and ready to resolve the issues.

My family had a wonderful stay. The pontoon boat was a great plus for my husband and son to go fishing all day around the lake.

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. The view off that back porch was beautiful. It was nice to be able to see the lakeview from the family room. In the main bedroom, even while laying in the bed you can see the lakeview. It was relaxing when I woke up in the middle of the night and saw a boat sailing on by. The place is not fancy, but it is simple and clean. I have no idea how old the rustic wood is but it’s beautiful and cozy. The kitchen was fine for my sister and me. We did bring our own air fryer, definitely bring extra paper towels for bigger families, and don’t forget your toilet paper. There is a nice size dining table. If you absolutely cannot do without your seasonings, or favorite cookie sheet then bring it with you. The furniture was not the most comfortable, but we mostly stayed on the porch or outside so it didn’t bother us. The bed was comfortable. I wouldn’t describe it as a firm bed. We brought an extra fan which helped us stay comfortable on the back porch If you’re looking for a quiet, simple rustic place to vacay at…then this location will be just perfect!

Great location with direct water access. The house was clean and Georgia was quick to respond to all communication. We had a great time and so did our dog!

Clean and Cute! Everything you need to have a wonderfully quiet and relaxing stay. My husband and I practically stayed in the screened in porch the whole time. We watched a rain storm come across the lake, Exhilarating!

You couldn’t ask for a better view or more beautiful sunset. You could see the lake from practically every window.

Everything was perfect! Great communication with the host Georgia. The home was warm and cozy! Quiet neighborhood Exactly what I was looking for. Beautiful beach, just right out your back porch kayaks and canoes readily available a fire pit to make s’mores during the day or evening if you wish! It was a bit chilly out side but it was still beautiful. I was able to fish caught a few crappies and bass and had them for dinner. My overall experience was perfect! Thanks you again. Hope to stay with you guys again soon.

This was a great place to stay! Perfect for 4-5 adults & great that pets are allowed. The pups loved sitting on the screened porch watching the lake activity. The grill was also great to be able to cook with. Lots of space to sit and hang out. My only suggestion would be to have more towels for guests.
