Clean, well maintained, and thoughtfully outfitted lake rental. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our week on the Lake. Morning coffee on the upper screen porch. Early morning bass fishing (had pretty good luck this year). Watching the sunset out on the floating dock, while fishing for catfish (not much luck this year). Sitting in the shade on the beach midday watching the boat traffic and enjoying the waves. Can't wait to do it again next year.

First, Georgia (homeowner) was outstanding with communication. Quick and clear responses to any questions. Second, the house was clean and convenient in a great location on the lake. The 2nd floor screened in deck with fans was where we spent most of our time playing games, eating and relaxing. We rented a boat from Georgia and she made it very convenient (offered to drop it off at our dock). 5 stars all around.

I stayed with a group of 6 girlfriends for a very low-key bachelorette weekend. The house was absolutely perfect - we got some great beach/dock time in when it was sunny, and when it rained, we played games on the huge second floor screened in porch. House was pristine and adorable. We didn’t get to use the boats, but they were there if we wanted them. Highly recommend this house for small to medium group get togethers!

Great place to spend a week with friends or family! Nicely remodeled 2 story cottage with rustic decor. Two bedrooms with firm king or a softer full sized beds. Plus two roll out sofa beds with new 5” foam gel mattresses ( stored in the shed). Living rooms both top and bottom floor , with fireplaces if you are in the mood.. Excellent tiled bathrooms, lotsa hot water and towels ….laundry room if you need it. Kitchen is well equipped with appliances , gadgets and a strong ice maker for party animals. Gas stove, dishwasher, full size fridge and a microwave. Garbage day is Monday FYI. Jumbo televisions each floor for the nearsighted elders, LOL . Wi-fi is strong. Furnace heat and Central air all work as they should. Two heating zones. upstairs vs downstairs. Community water well with strong water pressure, to scrub off the beach sand. Jumbo screened in upper rear porch for everyday dining or relaxing ! Man made sand beachfront is very nice for kids. Kept clean from west wind debris by an underwater fence , good engineering solution! Waterfront has kayaks, canoes and well stocked with live vests and paddles. Dock is large , and has a gated seating area. A few fishin poles on the downstairs patio. BYOB. ( Bring your own bait) Hostess Georgia has her ear to the phone in case you need any thing or advice . We loved our long Thanksgiving break stay on Lake Wylie. The house was amazing and perfect for our family of 5 - us (the parents), 2 teenagers, and grandma. In addition, it was the perfect place for all of our extended family to come for dinner/game night/football watching/boat rides who were in town for the Thanksgiving Holiday to give my sister in law who was hosting the big Thanksgiving Dinner in Fort Mill a break from the crowds. Beautiful weekend, beautiful lake, beautiful home and we hope to be able to rent it again next year for Thanksgiving.

If you are looking for a comfortable, cozy lake house - this is just that. Completely accurate property description and photos. Clean and everything you need in the kitchen. Working fireplace, comfortable couches and beds. Comfy blankets. Perfect location with a sandy beach right on the lake. Private and quiet. Georgia, our host, always answered promptly and was very easy to work with. Will definitely stay again.

We had a great experience from initial contact, to our stay, to checking out. Georgia was very friendly and answered all of our question when we first asked about booking. The property itself was wonderful. It is in a beautiful neighborhood and the drive was pretty easy. It was private enough but close to restaurants and grocery stores. About a 20 min drive to Carowinds which we did over the weekend. The house was clean and had everything we needed. We only used the master bedroom downstairs and the bed was comfortable. The view out to the lake from the house was beautiful from both floors. We enjoyed some fishing from the dock, caught a bunch of catfish and mangrove snapper. There’s a nice beach area that had a fire pit (wood was provided ) a hammock, and a bunch of canoes and kayaks (we didn’t use them but they had plenty). We liked the convenience of a washer and dryer so we could do laundry before we left. There was a nice grassy area in front of the house and in the back for our dogs to run around and play (not fenced in). Neighborhood is quiet and even the neighbors next door were pretty quiet. This was a nice play to relax and enjoy a much needed stress free long weekend. If we visit NC again we will definitely look to stay here

We stayed at the property for 4 nights while visiting family that lives in the area. The cottage is exactly as advertised. 2 floors of great living space with huge decks for sitting out and enjoying the lake views. Not fancy but cleaned and well-maintained. Excellent sandy beach with a small swimming area. An unexpected bonus was that there is a sidewalk through the woods and surrounding area that provides an excellent walking path of a few miles. This is an excellent space for 2 couples or a family of 6-8 people.

Very attentive host with private setting and beautiful water views from the porch. Lots of wildlife watch out for deer while driving!

The home and make access is perfect for a relaxing get away, the house has 2 bedrooms / bathrooms and 2 living rooms. It is perfect for friends or 2 couples , plenty of privacy and area to gather. We spent the day on the dock abs floating in the cove, so peaceful and pretty. Kitchen is very well stocked and you are super close to anything you would need but you feel you are far away from the hustle and bustle. Georgia was so helpful and kind, it was easy communication and you felt very welcome. We will be staying on one of the lake places again!

The positive reviews are accurate and the home is just as described / pictured. Our toddler spent every waking moment splashing in the beach area and collecting shells. We’ve already booked to come back <3

My wife, daughter, and I needed a place to get out for a week while our house was being worked on - and man we loved this place! The house is in great shape, has an amazing balcony to view the lake off of, and the beach area was great for our 16mo daughter. Hosts were great and had excellent communication. We'll be renting again!

We had a lovely Mother's Day weekend with our family. The kids loved swimming on the beach, the boat rental, and flipping off the dock. Dinners and morning Matcha on the porch overlooking the lake were beautiful. The location is excellent. Close to town but it feels like you are away from it all. Thank you, Georgia for being such a great hostess. We hope to come back again next year.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was everything we were hoping for. It was nice and cool when we arrived and we enjoyed sitting on the back porch watching the birds and the boats going down the lake. What a relaxing place. I highly reccomend this place to anyone who wants to be out in nature.

We really enjoyed our stay at Lake Wylie! We liked the layout and decor of the house and took advantage of all the amenities, especially the canoe and dock. My son caught a 24-inch catfish and a 15-inch large mouth bass which totally made the trip for him! Great location on a beautiful lake. We also appreciated the labels on the light switch plates, excellent water pressure in the showers, and plenty of towels. Thank you, Georgia!

Great get away for a long weekend with friends. Very easy to get to, plenty of space for us, and a fabulous porch with rocking chairs to enjoy the lake breezes. Georgia was very accommodating, and easy to get in contact with. I would love to stay here again!

This lake house is clean, decorated nicely, and super comfortable! Everything you need is provided. The house sits on a nice part of the lake and provides easy docking if you bring your boat. Loved it and plan to go back!

The outdoor seating options on the deck, beach, and dock are wonderful. The kitchen is well equipped. We rented the pontoon boat and enjoyed cruising the lake. We enjoyed kayaking and swimming. The house offers space for a family to relax. Georgia was very helpful during our stay.
