Everything was great except the living room television. It had 3 remote controls, and we could not get it to work for the last 2 days Saturday and Sunday. We would recommend a modern single serve coffee maker, like a Keurig or Farberware. Also there was no on site office manager, so the mailbox was completely stuffed full. I could not put our check in information into the mailbox, and their wouldn't have been anyone coming to receive it anyway. We love your condo, and Kihei, and all of Maui. Mahalo!

Great property location

We arrived late at night via taxi and as we pulled up to the area the taxi cab driver said this was not a great area and was scared and proceeded to lock her car doors. I went to find our room only to find sombody else was in it. The man who opened the door freaked me out and i didnt get a good vibe. This was my own fault as i thought our check in was the 23 not the 24 but again not off to a good foot and didnt want to go back to the property after that. Ultimatley we decided to check it out in the daylight and decided to give it another try. We brought all of our bags to the property and began to unpack when we discovered roaches in the apartment. I was not aware that there would be bugs in the unit and my mother who was travelling with us was terrified and couldnt sleep the whole night & only ended up staying 1 night out of the 3. The proerty itself was ok, came with everything we needed except no sugar for the coffee (that we could find) and location was central, pool was also well maintained and check in was easy. Overall we had an okay stay, but the rocky start and roaches were not a great experince for us.

Pros Very well stocked kitchen, comfortable bed, attractive decor, good shower, washer and dryer. Snorkel equipment, boogie boards, coolers etc. Clean. Good location by beach with protected turtles. Quiet (but see cons below). Cons Parking lot is outside bedroom windows so occasionally some night noise especially people locking their car with double car horn beeps. Not near the tourist part of town with restaurants and shops (a bonus in my opinion). A short drive to popular beaches Kam I, II and III beaches but you will need a car. Would be nice to have USB outlets. I would stay there again.

WOW! The location of this condo in Kihei is PERFECT! Right across the street from a turtle resting beach, and out of the loud part of Kihei which can sometimes be a bit loud. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in this perfect condo and will be sure to recommend it to my family and friends. Mahalo!!

We enjoyed our stay...

This is our third time staying in the Kihei area. The condo was great. It was very quiet and the split air conditioning system was perfect for those of us that are not used to the heat. The location was a little further away from the restaurant area in Kihei where we normally stay, but we always rent a car when we come, so it wasn’t a big deal. Would definitely recommend and stay at this condo again.

This was a great location for us. The island is a good size to be able to get around just about anywhere during the day and we had a quiet retreat for mornings and evenings. Kitchen is well stocked there's a nice, private patio/deck, and the bed was very comfortable. It's a short drive to the grocery stores and lively night life of Kihei. Lahaina is about 35-50 min away for a lot of the excursions, depending on time of departure and how many wandering tourists are ignoring the speed limit. 😉 Private pool and hot tub on site, plus a 2 min walk to a small beach. Overall one of the best condos we've ever had on a vacation.

The condo is in a great location in Kihei. It’s about 1 hour 30 mins from Haleakala, 2 hours 30 mins from Hana, and 45 mins from Lahaina. Overall, a great rental in a great spot. The unit has all of things you need to be comfortable. Having the ability to wash clothes was great. We did our laundry before leaving so we weren’t packing dirty clothes. There is cable but no streaming equipment. I brought a chromecast for my streaming services. There are enough towels and beach towels in the unit. Also, there is a blender in the unit. It’s above the stove. We didn’t find that till the last day. The bedding was comfortable and there were a number of pillows on the bed and extras in the closet. Plus, extra blankets and sheets. There are beach chairs, snorkeling gear, and coolers in the closet.

We had a great time at the property. Beach just opposite to the rental.

Overall comfortable and pleasant. The hot tub was great and the pool was the perfect temp. Both had lights for cool night vibes. The unit had AC and fans and cable. Ultimately the only drawbacks were pretty minor - no streaming services and the driveway is right on the busiest road so if you aren’t an assertive driver you might be uncomfortable leaving the complex.

It was exactly as described. Would recommend.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay at Kihei Bay Vista. It had the basics for what we needed and even had some snorkel gear and a cooler to borrow. It was right across the street from a great swimming spot, and a quick drive to and from the Kahului airport. The minor downsides for the unit was a little outdated and could have used more maintenance; and there was sand on the floor throughout the unit, but it’s understandable since it’s across the street from the beach.

We are from Southern California, and this place is an amazing refresh. No super advanced accommodations, cable and a washer and dryer available. No keurig for those wondering but a standard grounds coffee pot. A great bed in the bedroom and pullout. There were a couple included beach chairs (don’t know if they’re always there but for our visit they were). I really really really enjoyed this spot. Sitting on the lanai, can easily see the ocean waves and beach. The easily accessible walk to the beach had easy waves and a small ancient man made pond that regularly had tortoise come up to sleep on the rocks-in front of the whale watching center. We didn’t come during whale watching season but it was an excellent spot for small kids. I came without my kids on this trip and this spot alone made me want to return with them. The pool/hot tub was great after the sun went down and there’s a rinse station practically right outside the condo. I’m really happy with this place and while I don’t think I can return anytime soon, it’s definitely going to be a place we revisit. Thank you sooo much!

Right across the street from beaches. Comfortable and clean.

Stayed here for 10 nights. The apartment was exactly how it described. Excellent location and had all the amenities we needed - including washer, dryer, kitchen, swim gears, extra beach towels, boogie board and noodles. Had an issue with the noise level from the unit above us. Kept hearing stomping for 3-4 nights straight before we noticed an improvement in noise reduction. I know the property manager could not have prevented if the tenant above me had kids or not.. I did send an email twice and each time, Brittany from Maui Rentals was very responsive and apologetic, The bedroom hvac could use an upgrade. Sometimes the room still feels very humid despite having the unit turned off. The air conditioner didn’t remove the moisture in the room.

This place was exactly as listed, great location and had all we needed to enjoy our stay. I would definitely go back!

This was the best stay we had in Maui, it had everything you need in terms of convenience, location. 1 min walk to beautifully sunset and swimming sand beach. Will definitely come again.

I stayed in this and one other property in the same complex. This complex is in a great location and has everything one needs while on vacation in Maui. I recommend.

My family had Maui vacation and we stayed in this condo for two weeks. There were 4 of us, and it was great place for 4 adults to stay comfortable. Condo is very clean, well stocked and located close to the beach with ancient fishpond often visited by turtles. Location is also very convenient to explore the island. Five stars, my family is absolutely happy about this place.
