I have been renting cabins for 20+ years. This was the best! Clean, spacious cabin that is well appointed for all your needs. The host was very responsive and gracious. There were so many things at this cabin that made our stay smooth and more enjoyable. There were easy to follow instructions for everything and everything was labeled, such as light switches, ceiling fans, etc. The property was beautiful and we had an opportunity to relax and reconnect with our family. We loved this cabin! Thank you!

The house is located in a beautiful setting about 15 minutes drive from Lake Toxaway. We loved the different patio areas as well as the really well stocked kitchen as we cooked at home most night. The beds and bed rooms were all very comfortable. It was a wonderful location for our family get together.

Everything you can hope for!

The property was a perfect size for us - and the holiday decorations were gorgeous. The house had everything we could have needed and was sparkling clean. The location is beautiful, and had it not been so darn cold outside we would have hiked more. As it was, we did get out a bit and enjoyed tubing and hiking to Sunset Rock - breathtaking. We would definitely stay there again. Very comfortable and extremely well appointed.

The Indian Lake rental was very well equipped for a Thanksgiving dinner prep and comfort for a large family. We had a memorable holiday together. Thank you Mr. and Mrs. Bedenbaugh for your kind hospitality.

We spent two weeks in this beautiful mountain home. We loved the screened porch! The house is well decorated and the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen is completely stocked for cooking. It was easy to get to the house and we enjoyed the Lake Toxaway area. Brevard is a great place for shopping and dining. The owners were in communication with us before and during our stay. It was one of our favorite houses we’ve stayed in the mountains. We plan to return for another visit!

This is our second time staying at this beautiful home! We absolutely love it! We love the layout, the beautiful nature and serenity that surrounds the home. The screened porch was our favorite spot in the house! It was actually hard to leave the house to go explore and hike because it is so cozy and relaxing. Everett was amazing at quickly responding to my questions. I highly recommend this home! I can't wait to go back again! I miss it already!

This is one of the best homes we have ever rented because of the location and the owners going above and beyond to make their guests comfortable. We enjoyed the well appointed kitchen, the front porch and privacy provided by woods surrounding the property. Plenty to do in this area of multiple national forests rivers and waterfalls.

Home was warm and inviting and owners extremely helpful. Spent afternoons enjoying the back porch. Could not have been a better vacation!

Our family enjoyed our time here. We made wonderful memories. Our favorite place was the screened in porch where we could all sit together, relax, and talk.

The house is secluded, we really enjoyed the porch and our dogs were free to run around the property without the risk of interfering with neighbors. The house has lots of space and seating. Quiet area with beautiful streets to walk and explore.

The pictures do not do this property any justice. It was really nice inside, we went for a wedding. We really enjoyed the location, pizza and a local store are about 8 minutes away. We would definitely recommend staying there if you want some quiet time. Their screened in porch is fantastic, especially on a rainy night to sit there and enjoy the cool air

This home was perfect in so many ways: the location, midway between Brevard and Cashiers in a private area; the fully appointed kitchen (the best we’ve ever had) and the kind, helpful owners. We will be back!!

We have stayed at many properties over the years and this by far has the best stocked kitchen. We didn’t need to bring any extra utensils or countertop appliances to complete a full Thanksgiving meal.

Great time in the mountains. The house is located in a beautiful area of Lake Toxaway. Very nice community with things to do. Centrally located to lots of activities outside the neighborhood. The house was very clean and well equipped. Nice and warm on the cold days. It is a great place for any family to stay as it centrally located between Brevard and Cashiers.

This was our second vision to the Bedenbaugh's Lake Toxaway home. We absolutely enjoy our stays.

This was by far the best home we've stayed in yet. It was easy to find. The property grounds were amazing! The home was set up with all your modern conveniences. No need to bring any extra small kitchen appliances. They had it all! Even had a tea kettle, regular coffee pot, keurig and electric can opener! I've not been in a house yet that has an electric can opener! The back deck was AMAZING! When we were at the house, we spent all our time out there. The Master bed was so comfortable! It was like sleeping on a cloud! We enjoyed one night of lighting up the fire pit and hanging out there. There were so many "extra's" in this house I can't even list them all. Communication with the owner was fabulous and timely! If I had any complaints it would be that the stovetop was very hard to operate. Very updated and high tech. We had to grab the manual to learn how to use it but was still confused. But all in all, five stars is actually not enough to rate this house. We will definitely be back!

A friend and I rented this well appointed comfortable and very beautifully decorated home in the woods with our 2 dogs for the month of August to escape the South Florida heat. We could not have been happier. The place was well laid out and the back deck because a favorite place to be. We loved the layout of the home and it's location between Brevard and Cashiers was great. While spending time at the house was wonderful - we also enjoyed the area very much. In addition to hiking, there is rafting/tubing, fun little shops, great dining, live music, green markets, and the Cradle of forestry. We especially enjoyed visiting some of the many waterfalls in the area. The host and Hostess could not have been kinder and did a great job keeping us up to date on local activities. We were all sad to leave (including the dogs) and hope to return again.

We had a wonderful vacation- very hospitable hosts, and nicely stocked property. Will come back as soon as we can!

This home was excellent! Could not have been cleaner, home was so well stocked in the kitchen, bath, bedrooms, and outside. Our family totally enjoyed the stay and surrounding area. If you are looking for a mountain experience, this is it! Area is beautiful, would definitely go again!

The cabin was absolutely lovely. All of the beds were very comfortable, and we had everything we could have needed. Kitchen was very well stocked, furniture was very comfortable, and we loved all of the little details in decor around the cabin. The owners were wonderful and incredibly responsive. We had a little issue with the microwave upon arrival and the owners had it taken care of immediately- even going so far as to take several hours out of their day to ensure everything was promptly fixed. Thank you to the owners for sharing their beautiful cabin with us! We will definitely be back, and highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing and beautiful mountain getaway.

This cabin is even better than shown online. A virtual tour would be good to add to the listing. The space is laid out nicely. Lots of spaces inside and outside to be surrounded by nature. Very private. We spent a lot of our time out on the deck off the living room. There is a second deck off the kitchen, which is the location of the very nice propane gas grill. This kitchen is one of the best equipped of any VRBO we have ever rented. The owner was very helpful and responsive to our questions and booking process. Several maps of local hiking areas helped us decide where to hike. About 5 walk along the road to Indian Lake and the Community Park. Drive there in 1 minute. We rented canoes from Headwaters Outfitters and they delivered them lakeside at the community park. Peaceful little paddle around Indian Lake which is calmer than the much larger Lake Toxaway. Lots of fish in the lake. We highly recommend this cabin. 5 Stars in every way.

Great location in the mountains. My son and daughter and grandson all came up to celebrate my daughter‘s wedding at Lake Toxaway. The proximity to Lake Toxaway was excellent… We found our self visiting Brevard often which was only a 30 minute drive. It was quiet and had mini features like the outdoor fire pit and a Brooke that was babbling at the gate. I would recommend us chip for anyone that wants a getaway

This was my first experience with Vrbo and this property far exceeded my expectations. Spectacular in every way from the lovely decor to the perfectly appointed kitchen. It was hard to leave.

Property is near lots of great hiking. We didn’t get to use the big deck with table bc it was cold, but can imagine it would be a great place to relax.

We had a wonderful week at this cozy, secluded home. The owners had written directions on how to operate everything, which we appreciated immensely. The kitchen has everything a cook would need and we cooked every day. The grandkids LOVED roasting marshmallows for s’mores on the fire pit and the tiki torches were a great addition. Hubby is a road biker and he had a great time on the roads. The beds were extremely comfortable and Omg, the master shower is awesome! Definitely want to come back here and stay again!
