This property is in great condition and is a lot of fun with kids and dogs. We didn't even know that the whole property is fenced in! What a plus for bringing dogs! Had 4 adults, 2 teens, and 6 kids aged 4-9. Pros: Tons of beds. So many beds. Fence! Hot tub worked great in 50° weather. Host was able to approve a late checkout since there were no guests arriving same day. Christmas decorations were up! Cons: There wasn't Wi-Fi in the upper cabin although it looked like there was supposed to be, which meant the supplied FireStick didn't work on the TV. But to be fair, we didn't message the hosts about it to try to get it fixed. We'd definitely come back here. Property is in a fun spot and feels very safe but still a little removed from the city, right in the sweet spot.

We had a wonderful time. A perfect place to get away, relax and unwind. Beautiful views and plenty of room for our party of 5. I would highly recommend it!

This is by far one of the best vacations we ever had. It was a change up from renting homes in inner San Antonio region . It gave us a taste of what the native Texas Hill country looked like. The Sunsets were spectacular. The property was very spacious. We took advantage of the well maintained hiking trails. The winding roads leading up to the property were challenging but at the same time fun to ride on. I would definitely love to rent this place again.

The property was exactly as advertised. The cabins were clean and cozy with beautiful hilltop views and silence. The beds including the bunk beds were very comfortable. The yard around the property with gates allowed our 3 large dogs' room to roam and run freely. The roads were safe for hiking and stargazing at night. The property managers were very responsive and cordial.

Very private and quiet. Just what we were after. Close enough to town for restaurant if you wanted but we chose to cook at house and just enjoy the solitude.

The hosts were friendly and responsive from beginning to end. They actually were very inviting with regards to us bringing our dog. We felt right at home. The hot tub, the views, the decks, the location of the dormer window in the main bedroom, are all laid out for maximum hill country relaxation. We'll be back as soon as possible.

Wonderful stay. My family and I had a lovely time. The check-in and communication with owner was amazing, so easy. During our stay, we experiences really low temperatures and our cabin was nice and cozy. We had an issue with freezing water and a pipe bursting and the owners fixed the issue within 2 hours of me contacting them. We felt safe and really happy! Definitely coming back whenever we can again. The upper cabin was perfect. The lower cabin was a bit colder than the other, but the fireplace really made for a perfect Christmas feel. Overall, great stay!

Our Family enjoyed the time at the property. Close to towns and outdoor areas nearby to explore plus we enjoyed walking around the property and having the hot tub and also the fire pit at night.

This property is a rustic cabin sitting on one of the many hill country hills in West Texas. The views from the porch over looking the valley as the sun set were amazing. The location is perfectly situated to visit local nearby wineries and antique shops. I especially enjoyed soaking in the hot tub after a long day of hiking in nearby Lost Maples park. The cabin is a perfect place to spend time if you are looking for a quiet getaway in the country. Our host Donna was awesome and quick to respond to any of questions.

Fantastic weekend in the Hill Country for wedding. Plenty room to enjoy time together and patio views.

It is a very nice cabin with amazing views. Main cabin has kitchen and living room with large king bed, the upper cabin has 3 bunk beds. We loved the porches and hot tub.

This place is perfect for a getaway from it all. We only left once for supplies we didn't bring. The peace and quiet was a perfect respite for city folk. The amenities were as advertised, which is always a good thing. The real attraction for us was its isolated location. Thank you so much for opening your property to us.

Loved the quietness, seclusion and location. Older cabins but nice, could use some updating. Internet and phone cellular connections were awesome. No direct walk-off access must climb stairs, whirlpool was great. Clean with the exception of the kitchen but when I contacted the management group they were very responsive and the kitchen had all the essentials needed. Driveways are a bit rough and in need of repair however it is a country location, there is a carport that is unreachable by car due to the steep incline and so you have to use the stairs which is fine but good to note if you're older, or have some mobility issues.

It was a smooth rental process. The location of the cabins was absolutely beautiful. Plenty of room to explore. Kids all had a blast. There were beautiful views, it was very peaceful. We will visit again.

The ranch was absolutely beautiful, the cabins were wonderful. Even with the heat our family loved it. No pictures could do the view justice, I would absolutely recommend this ranch to anyone & am looking to try to come in the fall! Our new favorite vacation spot! just what we needed for a relaxing vacation. it was great

We had a great time at the ranch. The views are beautiful and the Jacuzzi was fun! we were 4 adults and 2 kids visiting from outside the country so having the ranch experience was a treat! My only reservation is the accommodations in the upper cabin, where my family was complaining the mattresses not being as comfortable. Overall we had a good experience and the property management was very responsive and helpful.

The hosts always communicated quickly before our arrival and at our departure. We had no need to contact them during our stay. There was plenty of room for our party of nine. We had a great time. We were glad we brought fans with us due to the extremely hot weather. Under normal conditions the ac would be adequate. Lighting is very poor in the kitchen. Our recommendation would be to upgrade lighting and fan in kitchen. Beds were quite comfortable and hot tub was a definite hit!

We had an amazing time at Stoney Ranch! Plenty of space to spread out. The kids enjoyed having their own cabin to themselves. Very peaceful and relaxing! We will be back!
