Property was clean and had a beautiful view. My only recommendation would be to improve beach chairs. We enjoyed our stay very much and would book with this property again.

The property was exactly as described on VRBO. Its proximity to the ocean was wonderful, a short walk over nice grass to the ocean. The location of the property is within a few miles of grocery shopping and restaurants. We found some very good ones and some not so very good ones. Condo was fully stocked with pots and pans. There was a laundry facility right outside the unit, and as long as you are familiar with phone apps, it works perfectly. The main thing we missed in check in was that you absolutely cannot check in before 3 PM. Our plane arrives early around 10 and we were not able to gain access until three. Other than that, things went just as planned.

Nice, easy place to stay. Thoughtful amenities were provided like beach chairs, cooler, and clothes basket for laundry. Great that you can walk directly across a green space to the beach. Relaxing, spacious lanai with a view of West Maui and the bay. I enjoyed sitting there in mornings listening to the many birds around. Would have loved to be able to walk to the nearby shopping center and food trucks rather than drive. If you’re also hoping for that, just note the main road has no sidewalk or useful shoulder the whole way so it was an unpleasant walk. But that’s pretty typical of Maui, so not a big negative.

We enjoyed a relaxing time at Village by the Sea. The one bedroom was a perfect size for the two of us. The location, overlooking the grassy park, with the ocean beyond was very peaceful. The unit has a nice lanai to enjoy the view. We were able to find everything we needed in the small kitchen, for meal preparation. All the furnishings were comfortable, including the king bed and the sofa. An ottoman would be good for the livingroom. The bathroom has a nice shower, and we were especially happy with the large plush bath towels supplied. If a remodel is coming up, I believe a higher toilet would be a welcome item. As we enjoy reading, in the early evening, brighter lighting would be beneficial in the livingroom and bedroom lamps. The items mentioned above do not take away from what is a great vacation rental.

We stayed in a well maintained, quiet, condo complex in Kihei. The unit was as advertised with great views. The owner has equipped the unit with everything you would need for a great stay. Hope to return in the future,

Overall we really enjoyed our stay! The condo had almost everything we needed, the location was pretty good and it was very quiet. My only complaints, and I say this very loosely because it really did not hinder our stay but would’ve been nice, one of the three beach chairs and umbrella was broken and the beach directly outside the condo was pretty rocky. Again, nothing that really made a hue difference but could be nice added bonuses! Of course there’s not changing the beach ;) Outside of that it’s very quiet, the pool is clean and normally not very busy. We enjoyed coffee and breakfast on the balcony every morning as well! Very easy check in process, plenty of parking and close enough to town/sandy beaches but far enough away we felt relaxed. Would likely stay again!

The view was amazing and the size perfect for us. Pool area is very nice also with hot tub and a kiddie pool. Kitchen was adequately stocked. Looked like beach would be small but we walked two miles one way before we decided to turn around. A bit rocky at first but amazing beach beyond. Convenient, less crowded area but minutes to town by car.

My wife and I stayed here from Oct 9-Oct 16 as part of our honeymoon. The unit is exactly as described and had everything we needed — it was clean, well maintained, well equipped and comfortably furnished. Check in and check out process was a breeze. The lanai was perfect for morning coffees and the unit is a short walk to the shore to watch the stunning Maui sunsets and turtles swimming about. The condo is close driving distance to excellent food options, beaches and activities. It made an excellent central base for day trips to other parts of the island as well. Our host Jim was fantastic from booking all the way through to check out. He was quick to respond, thoughtful and accommodating. We would recommend staying here and would have absolutely no hesitation staying here again in the future. Thank you Jim and we hope to be back in the future.

I booked this condo due to its proximity to Kalepolepo beach and of course the view from the balcony just as pictured on VRBO. The owner was always checking on us prior to our departure to make sure we have all the information we need. Need about 5-10mins drive to food places, but that's no problem for us. They also provided beach chairs, umbrellas, and beach towels that we can use. Parking currently is anywhere that's open, no placard needed. We'll be back for sure.

This beautiful condo has one of the most perfect views of the Pacific Ocean the bay and the pool. We appreciated feeling like we were at home through our stay.

We loved our stay at this property in Kihei. The pool, grill space and beach were absolutely perfect. The sunset never got old! The condo itself is a bit older with standard accommodations, but the value made it possible for us to come to the beautiful island. The host was very, very quick to respond whenever I had a question, both before and during our trip. Lots of fun shops and restaurants and grocery stores just a short drive away.

Honestly I’m really upset. We were extremely excited about this stay. Unfortunately flights were canceled do to weather conditions. As soon as I was made aware I emailed the property manager. In an attempt to give as much notice as possible. I am upset about the money lost. However, I am more upset by the way it was handled. As far as communication with the property manager. I received “This is really not my problem”. I understand there wasn’t time to re-rent, even though all flights were canceled. Rescheduling was also made unavailable.

Overall we enjoyed our stay here. - The Kihei location is good - Parking was easy - Entry was smooth - Place is spacios for two - Well stocked kitchen (could use more glassware, wine glasses) - Nicely close to elevator - Laundry is close - Nice view like you see in pics Problems/Recommended Improvements - The bedroom curtain was/is broken (may be fixed when owner visits in September). Appeared to be dried blood on curtain. There was also dried blood on the bedspread so suspect someone cut their finger? - The place and property is very dated, could use updating and TLC! Fromt desk service was weird. - AC is original and worked fine at times and marginally at others. - The accordian divider between bedroom and living room is difficult to lock closed/operate and does not block out noise. Highly recommend replacing it with double doors. This would be a cheap but important update. - There was no Roku TV or Netflix so when done exploring island and being active and you want to relax, your are stuck with local TV. This is another cheap improvement, maybe $16 a month, maybe more but this makes a lot of money. - We got locked out the last day but it was easy to comtact the owner and he resolved the issue quickly. - They provide soap in the bathroom but no shampoo and our toilet paper ran out the last day and could not be fixed by owner. Fortunately I was able to bum some TP from another cleaner group in the area and avoided a trip to the store. I hope this feednack helps.

This place worked great for our first stay in Maui. Enjoyed staying in Kihei at a central location in proximity to both ends of the island. Having a comfortable bed with air conditioning and a ceiling fan was important to us, and this fit the bill. We enjoyed coffee on the patio and could see the ocean from our balcony. The condo had an old Hawaiian feel, which was really nice as well.

This condo in Kihei is the perfect location to explore lovely Maui. It was quiet and relaxing, with spectacular views; great for morning coffee on the lanai and sunset watching on the beach, truly a delight for the senses. We enjoyed our time here and made great memories. Mahalo!

We loved every moment of our time here. It’s a great convenient location to all of the restaurants in Kihei and convenient to the airport and shopping for anything you may need. The view is to die for and we loved sitting on the lanai and feeling the nice breeze. The pool and hot tub being open late are a wonderful bonus. Condo was clean, cool, and had an umbrella for use at the beach. Laundry was cheap and super convenient. We would love to come back and visit again!

The view is so beautiful and just a short walk to the beach. We walked the beach every morning after we had our coffee on the lani. The grounds were maintained as well as the pool, so everything was well manicured. We did have to get som additional TP, only a spare roll was in the condo, and on beach char was already broken. Other than that it was a great stay and will definitely stay here again.

we were there for 3 days to explor the island and this place was perfect for what we needed. Great view for your morning coffe, stores and everything close while at the same time you don't feel the movement that much. We liked this place a lot, def will be back.

We stayed in this unit for a week in April and found it to be exactly as described. The view from the balcony is amazing and there is a very short walk to a beautiful, quiet beach right across the lawn. The pool and hot tub were great to have so close by and we were impressed with the meticulous upkeep of the entire grounds. Parking was easy, right out front. The condo itself was very clean and well-equipped. The location was excellent, allowing for very short drives to many different beaches, restaurants and sights. We would highly recommend the Maui Ocean Centre for all ages - truly an outstanding and memorable visit! We had a truly amazing stay in Maui and would definitely recommend this condo as a great place to stay!

The beach is just a few steps away. The balcony is very spacious, with comfortable patio furniture and beautiful ocean view. The place had everything that I needed and more. Perfect for solo traveler.

Overall impression was very good. View was wonderful especially for sunsets! Location is great, cleanliness was very good. Improved cookware would have been a plus as the ones provided were not the greatest. We like to cook a lot, so we appreciate good cookware but realize it is an issue as many guests may damage them. Blender top was nowhere to be found, only the motor? so we bough† a new blender and left it as we use one almost daily for smoothies. A small supply of aluminum foil, plastic wrap and a few ziplocks would be great. The grounds were lovely. At the time of our visit only 2 of the BBQ's were working and we would have loved to have cooked and eaten outside more as it was so lovely in the garden area but only 2 BBQ's working and 3 Tables to eat at limited our time cooking and eating outside, many times all 3 tables were occupied :-( Our overall impression was very good and we enjoyed our visit very much, thank you!!!

This was a beautiful property, close to the beach and a short drive to town. It was easy to access anywhere on the island, and was so well equipped. We would absolutely stay here again!

Condo was just as advertised. As an older person I like to sit in a recliner but few VRBO condos have one. Several houses we’ve stayed in have recliners, and I think every condo should also. But in total, an excellent place to stay in Kehei.

The condo was just as described. Amazing views from the balcony. Had no issues with parking. Close to many good restaurants and is right next to the beach.

Great communication in renting this nice condo on the coast in Kihei. Quiet complex with a nice pool near the beach. Nice deck with beautiful views. Well-equipped kitchen. Not right downtown but close enough to be convenient. A very relaxing place to stay.
