I truly cannot say enough about this property. Tricia, the homeowner, is so responsive and helpful in answering questions about the home and area and was so resourceful with recommendations of things to do, places to explore, and restaurants. I truly don't think there is a better location on the beach - it's on a great swimming beach, next to a hotel if you want to access a pool and hot tub, and quiet yet within walking distance to town. There is a kayak, bikes, and paddle boards for guests' use. The house is wonderful - Tricia has it so well stocked and has truly thought of everything a guest may need. The house far exceeded our expectations - very roomy, clean, and comfortable. We spent the majority of our time on the deck overlooking the ocean - a stunning view just outside the door. We will definitely book this property again and were so sad to say goodbye to La Casa de la Playa. Also, Victor is super trustworthy for cab service to/fro airport or other areas of interest. This property is a gem - far exceeded our expectations.

Loved everything about it. Clean and attractive rooms and decor. Close to the fishing boats and Hotel Palmas de Cortez. Beautiful gardens of avocado, mango and lime trees. Would highly recommend

We just left after our second stay. I hope to be back soon! The house is in a perfect location and everything is perfect. We used the outdoor kayaks and bikes often. Victor picked us up from the airport and was helpful when we needed him! The owner is great at answering questions. Definitely will be back with our family in the future. Thanks for a great stay!

Casa de playa is better than the pictures. Very comfortable home. Love all the extra amenities- SUP boards-kayaks-beach chairs- welcome guide. Tried many restaurants that were suggested. Rented ATVs from candoo for the week - so much fun. Tricia also coordinated our ride to and from the airport. We also knew we could contact Victor if we needed anything. We will be back.

Nice property. Clean. Great location. Would have been nice to have had contact with property manager on night of check in. Had to call him next day with questions. He did a great job of assisting with scheduling covid test in order to return home.

The house is beautiful and has easy access to the beach. It has everything you could need to enjoy your stay at Los Barillos. Victor is willing to help with anything extra and answer all our questions. All communications with the owners were answers quickly and I look forward to renting the house again next year.

We all had a great trip and the house is clean and very comfortable ! We loved how we could go to either of the 2 nearby hotels and use their pools. The paddle boards & Kayak were great ! and we used them daily along with the bicycles. The welcome guestbook was really helpful ............ We had wonderful food and drinks wherever we went. The people of L B are so happy and helpful !! Victor the property manager was key in picking us up at the airport and taking us back. also was happy to take us to a grocery store when we first arrived . We will definitely be returning !!

We really enjoyed our stay. Victor was awesome and took care of our fishing needs, he also reserved some ATVs for us and had them delivered right to house. Location is perfect and the house was clean and very well equipped. I’d go back for sure!

The best house to stay at in Barrilles from the layout of the house to the location and cleanliness.

Loved this rental. It was perfect for a relaxing trip with friends. Strong aircon and right on the beach. Even had paddle boards and a kayak available for our use. Concierge assisted us with your bookings and everything we needed and we were allowed to use pool facilities included from the resort next to us. Would recommend and stay again!

Our family of 5, two kids (10 &12) plus grandma had a wonderful week at Casa De La Playa. The house was perfect for all ages and activity levels. We soaked up the sun, played in the sand and waves, fished, read, ate in and ate out. The house is the perfect landing and launchpad for so many activities. Its well-appointed and stocked, just how you'd want your own home. The beds are extremely comfortable and main living areas inviting and cozy. Our host Tricia communicated quickly and with a warm welcome. We appreciated Victor's help with getting to and from the house and setting up a fishing trip. We were even lucky enough to experience a leatherback turtle hatch, right in front of the house on Christmas Eve. It was absolutely amazing! We can't wait to return sometime soon.

Everything was perfect, from the coordination with Victor, to the location of the home. Victor was so helpful in getting us a good deal on the ATV’s and we felt taken care of. I especially loved Tricia’s book of anything you could think of to do/eat! The entire trip was magical and I don’t think anything could’ve gone more smoothly. Love this home and love the town!! Tricia was amazing!!

Victor escorted us to the Casa from airport driving a new, clean Toyota van. The house is better than expected! Bright, Clean, Mexican style Art work and decor. Owner was communicative and we utilized the driver for a day trip to Cabo and La Paz. We used the pool next door while the husbands went fishing (margaritas ayyy strong😀). The main patio is huge for dinning, reading , etc... I swam in the water and husband caught fish from the shore. Beautiful place for larger groups! I will definitely be back! The bikes were an added touch for poking around town!

We enjoyed a second wonderful visit to this beautiful property. It has a great location on a fabulous stretch of uncrowed beach. Wonderful outdoor spaces, both to enjoy the sea and sun as well as relax or dine in the shade if desired. All four of the bedrooms are lovely. So peaceful.

We enjoyed a wonderful time staying at beautiful Casa La Playa. It was our 5th time visiting Los Barielles and our first time staying at this VRBO property. The property is terrific for large, active groups. Outstanding proximity to the beach and lots of activities in Los Barielles. Tricia and Victor were fantastic addressing a small maintenance issue and getting more firewood, beach chairs, and fishing rods - TERRIFIC communication. Washer and dryer were helpful during our 2 week stay. Kitchen had everything we needed. Our family is very physically active and 1 small suggestion we'd have is to provide higher quality paddle boards and kayak - The ones available were very heavy and the kayak was leaky and had no back rests. The bikes were perfect for running errands in town. Thanks for the wonderful memories in your beautiful casa, Tricia!

We were so pleased with this rental. The gardens and outdoor seating areas were beautiful. We loved the extra little apartment bedroom. Waking up to the sound of the waves and beach was heaven! The owner couldn’t have been more accommodating. We can’t say enough about this property.

This home is perfect for a group of 8-10 people. I could spend a week not ever moving from the fabulous beach patio! I can't say enough about how wonderful it is. Very large with plenty of comfortable furniture, lounge chairs, & two eating table areas outside. The entire home is beautiful, clean and well kept. The bedrooms are large and comfortable. All but the room with 2 double beds have there own comfortable patio areas off of them, which affords everyone some outdoor privacy if they wish. The 2 full bathrooms are beautiful and spacious, as is the half bath in the casita. The garden area is lovely and has lots of fresh citrus fruit to enjoy. The entire area is gated and extremely safe. I never had an once of concern for safety in all of Los Barilles. The people are warm and inviting. We were even told twice to come back the next day and pay our bill at restaurant bars. What?! So nice, relaxing and honestly friendly people! FYI everyone is perfectly happy with American dollars, we never needed to exchange. The kiteboarding in January is HUGE. If you want to learn, go early into your vacation as it takes some time. As for recommendations, absolutely go eat at El Pirata! You will be surprised when you are served the absolute best meal in all of Mexico. Also, for ATV or snorkel gear rentals, go see Jimmy at CanDoo rentals at the north end of town. We had the best day touring the mountains & waterfalls with him. So FUN. The owner and caretaker of this house are easy to get ahold of and very helpful. We were hooked up with our driver Antonio for our golf and dining day trip up to LaPaz thru the caretaker. He also picked us up at the airport and took us to a local market on our way up to the house, and on a snorkel trip to Punta Pescadero, a stunning paradise away from everything. So nice! It was so incredible to sit on our beautiful patio and watch whales, dolphins, & manta rays jump from the ocean. I will never forget hearing the manta rays splatting on the calm water at night. I so wish I could have seen them! If you aren't sure about renting with lovely house, just do it!!!

Casa de la Playa fit our needs perfectly. We stayed in LB for two weeks. The first week we had family, including two granddaughters, with us and the second week several friends joined us. The house is very open and allowed all of us to spread out and not feel crowded. The property was completely fenced and we let the kids play freely outside. The outdoor living spaces were wonderful. We had the beach pretty much to ourselves. We were able to utilize the pool and restaurants at Palmas next door. Los Barriles was a low key, clean, friendly little town. Victor was a great help and handled all our transportation comings and goings. He also helped hook us up with renting some four wheelers. This was one of the best homes that we have ever rented. I would highly recommend Casa de la Playa.

Casa de la Playa was a perfect for our boys weekend away. We had 3 adults and 2 young boys and the house provided MORE than enough room. The paddle boards and kayaks were much appreciated and used everyday. Kitchen was very well stocked and felt like home. The close proximity to downtown and the pool bar at Palmas de Cortez were perfect... would book again tomorrow.

This house was so well appointed. From high quality linens to a well stocked kitchen this house met all our needs. Owner was so responsive and helpful. And property manager, Victor helped us get to and from the airport. We used the beach chairs and umbrella everyday. This house is so beautiful. We would love to stay here again.

The house was perfect for us. We were 4 guys on a fishing trip and the location was ideal. This would be perfect for a large family or two smaller families as well. We were able to use the pool at the neighboring hotel Palmas de Cortez (which in my opinion is too warm...its more like a giant hot tub) and there were plenty of restaurants and a grocery store just a short walk away. The kitchen is very well appointed and had pretty much everything we needed. There is also very convenient access to get an ATV from the property to the beach. Tricia is VERY responsive to emails and Victor made sure our rides from and to the airport were on time.

My husband and I have been going to Baja and the East Cape for around fifteen years. This time I went with my two sisters to celebrate my 50th birthday. We wanted a high end house on the beach. We found our dream home with this rental. It could not have been more perfect for a restful week of vacation. The house is beautifully designed with various eating and reading areas according to the time of day. The house is extremely comfortable and perfectly set up with all amenities. The layout of the house is amazing - the kitchen is spacious and well equipped , we spent a lot of time there cooking and looking out on to the sea. The bedrooms and bathrooms are large and wonderfully decorated and quiet. I am a very nitpicking and fussy person for bed comfort and bathroom design and I can tell you I have never slept better in a rental. The mattresses were so comfortable and the sheets were soft COTTON! No itchy poly blend as most rentals provide - what a treat! We spent most of our time eating and reading on the huge patio that overlooks the stunning view of beach and water. The swimming out front is the best in Las Barriles. The owner of the house and the caretaker were beyond kind to us and got us fresh fish to enjoy. In short, we loved this house very much and highly recommend it. It is extremely tasteful, uncluttered and the most relaxing home I have ever rented anywhere. Thank you for an incredible visit!
