We were very comfortable here and enjoyed our visit greatly. The bed is comfortable, the condo gets good breezes, the pool deck is nice, and the beach is right there.

I highly recommend this property. Watching the sunrise in the morning was great, and you are steps from the beach. This condo was perfect for my husband and I. We enjoyed our time at this little hidden gem. Thank you, Sharon.

Wow this place is amazing! Super clean & well organized- the bed is GREAT the location of Mar Y Sol is wonderful-5 minutes to downtown and the beach here is awesome, good swimming & snorkeling just steps away. We have stayed here in the past but not at this unit, looks like lots of updated appliances & furniture, super comfy. This is our new favorite place in the Barriles area & we can’t wait to visit again!!

Balcony overlooks the Sea of Cortez resulting in beautiful sunrises, friendly neighbors and quaint small town. Great laid back atmosphere, (I could easily live here). Sharon was a good host and offered amenities that were above expectation ie. kayaks and snorkel gear. She also provided a book listing places to eat and get groceries and other shops aned services in town.

We wanted something on or near the beach, and boy did we get it!! When looking to book, the map shows that this place is not near the water. However, we discovered that that is the property management company that maintains the condos. This place overlooks the water and is literally steps away from the beach!
The condo had everything we needed and the check in instructions were very clear and well detailed. The location is very private and only a 5 minute drive from LB. The airport is about 45 minutes away. We had a rental car so we could explore other areas (La Paz, etc.) but one could take a bus and then rent a side by side for exploring just as easily.
If you envision being lulled to sleep by the gentle waves and drinking your coffee on a balcony overlooking the Sea of Cortez watching the sun come up, this is the place for you!

My friend and I stayed at this gorgeous condo. Exactly as advertised! Very comfortable bed and excellent air conditioning (it was VERY muggy during our stay). Kitchen was stocked with the essential tools, lots of space to cook. Already trying to plan for our next stay :)

Condo is a quiet one-bedroom w/nice kitchen and great veranda overlooking the area's best shoreline. There are kayaks on beach, nice pool, and quiet at night for great sleep. Best are the helpful neighbors, many of whom own or are frequent renters who have vested interest in getting to know you! Great place to stay. We will definitely be back!

The apartment was great! It had everything we needed and the location was great; we did not rent a car but walked into town on the beach which took maybe 15 minutes. We snorkeled in front of condo as well as hund put on the beach. Each morning we walked the beach which was lovely. We would definitely go again.

Our one week stay at Mar Y Sol condos was comfortable and enjoyable. The complex is small (30 ish units) quiet, well maintained with friendly residents. Brant's condo is comfortable and exactly as advertised. The kitchen is reasonably equipped. The wifi worked well. We did not use the TV on our vacation. Nor did we use the A/C... always a breeze flowing through the condo. The king bed was comfy and the balcony view, its greatest asset, spectacular!

We really enjoyed our week here. Make Sure you get up early to enjoy the sunrises, they are spectacular here. The place was comfortable and a casual feel, just what we were looking for. The beaches are beautiful and are perfect for walking on.. and a easy walk to town.
The down side it was too windy all week to go into the water to swim or snorkel.. but that’s the area this time a year. If you are a kiter it is paradise. Also, parking was challenging with our larger vehicle, not enough parking spaces when we were there. Besides that small issue we had a great time, so much to do in the area. Lots of great mountain biking, hiking, and hidden good restaurants. We would definitely recommend staying here.

This unit exceeded our expectations in every way. Right on the beach, short distance to town, comfortable bed, fully stocked kitchen, good wifi. Having the washer/dryer was a great benefit. Lots of friendly neighbors, and they were all nice despite many of them being Canadian.
We are staying another two months in two other rentals that cost 25% less. Even though we are on a budget, I am now convinced that I should have paid the extra and stayed longer at this place. Pay the extra... it is worth it!

A mile or two south of Los Barrilles... Awesome view of Sea of Cortez. Decent snorkeling in front. Some actual live pieces of coral. Convenient parking spot, fast internet, well-equipped kitchen. Bathroom had an issue with orders coming up the drain. Was pretty rank the first day,.. we kept the fan on and eventually it cleared up. Photo show a direct view over the pool however this unit does not have that. Would definitely go back to this unit.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sol y Mar (Sun and Sea), so aptly named. We woke to stunning sunrises each morning, and lulled to sleep each night by the sound of the sea. Unit was clean and well equipped, bed comfortable, and plenty of towels including beach towels for use. Best part was the proximity to the beach directly out front with some great snorkeling right there when the seas were calm. We will definitely be back!

The condo was in a great location, clean, very well appointed from fishing gear and beach chairs/umbrellas to a good selection of kitchen utensils/gadgets. So loved the ability to walk down to the beach and have world class snorkeling!! We are regulars to Los Barriles and have put this condo on the top of the list for our return trips.

Have been to Los Barilles many times and needed a place to stay for a week. Brant was very helpful and prompt in his communication. The unit is well prepared and a great location to the pool and beach. Has a wonderful North and South view from the deck. We Would stay in this unit again.

Complex our accommodation was in was really nice, 20 or so units. Some were occupied by the owners, some renters like us, and some were vacant. The ocean views from every unit are fabulous. All the people staying there were friendly, helpful, and lots of fun. Nice pool and patio lounging area. We were able to swim in the ocean on the calm days. Lots of fish to see right off the shore snorkeling. Kite surfing is really big here as well. The community of Los Barrillis was just 5 minute drive down the road. Lots going on there with local markets, shops, restaurants, and fun spots to have a drink. There is lots of ATV, side by side type activities. Really enjoyed the lovely home feeling inside the unit we rented. Owner has lots of things for your use and enjoyment.

This is the third time we have stayed at this condo complex, the first time in this unit. The condo needs some upgrades, repairs and improvements. We were there for 2 major storms, and there was a lot of water that came into the unit, granted it doesn’t rain that often in Baja and this unit is on the side of the complex that gets exposed to much wind and rain, but there were links and rain coming into the window sill etc. We used a lot of towels to mop up. The furnishings are fine, there’s enough basic kitchen supplies and Housekeeping does a decent job. The bed is comfortable, lots of closet space and DVD player works. Good WiFi. We didn’t have instructions for regular TV. The shower, toilet and the drain really need to be fixed.
We love the view, beach, pool and LB.

Nothing fancy but a good solid value from Brant & VRBO. Looking for a getaway with relatively deserted beaches, good dining & great fishing, this is it. Premium snorkeling right out in front of the condo complex, pool & grilling patio thrown in for good measure! We really enjoyed our stay. I recommend renting a form of transportation to get around the area (most folks rent ATVs & UTV’s). There are three rental places in town, CanDoo, Quadman & Quadgirl. Check out their websites. We personally rented a two-seater for the week and had great service from Jimmy & Alex at CanDoo rentals. Special thanks go out to Brant for helping us out on the checkout day!

Highly recommend! Brant and Wolf Property were responsive to our questions and made sure we had everything we needed to make our five-night stay easy and relaxing. It's really easy to get to town -- we even paddled the kayaks in one day -- but it's also secluded enough to just get away and enjoy the sound of the waves. The unit is great, the complex is clean, the beach is wonderful. We even hit it off with some of our "neighbors," who shared free, freshly-caught tuna from one of their boating excursions!
